Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • We pray for the Peace of Israel, they shall prosper who do so. For Jerusalem is the Eternal Capital, and the Messiah will have the United Nations Headquarters there soon.

  • #For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17

Thank God that His Kingdom is marching on, so no matter what Satan thinks he is doing, has already failed. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these things will be added. Matt. 6:33

  • #So then, everyone, of us shall give an account of himself to God. Let us not, therefore judge one another anymore, but judge rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Romans 14:12,13

We are members of the Body of Christ and not enemies. Do not count your brother as your enemy, but rather be slow to anger, plenteous in mercy. Not rendering evil for evil. Do not set traps for your brother to stumble, but rather help your brother up, if he has fallen. Jesus told Peter 70x7 is how many times we are to forgive our brother.

  • #Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provisions for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Romans 13:13,14

Paul admonishes the Roman Church, that they once walked like the Gentiles in the darkness of their past, but now we are children of the Light, who walk in the day. Therefore, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provisions to fulfill the lust of the flesh. Jesus will call us into account for those sins, that are not forsaken. Do not commit the sin unto death. Look to Christ and live.

  • I do not trust a computer to make a defensive maneuver in an emergency situation on the road. I will continue to be the driver rather than trust in autonomous vehicles. For drunkards, then maybe that is the best way to stop them from being on the road as a danger to themselves or anyone else.

  • #For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour. Therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:9,10

Jesus said if you love me, then you would keep my commandments. When we love our neighbor, we will not sleep with his wife, tell lies on him to destroy his reputation in the Church, or steal his pension, so that he cannot pay for his children's college education, murder him to cover it up. Love is the fulfillment of the law. Do not covet anything that is thy neighbor's. May the Lord convict those who are not keeping the commandments. Grace is not a license to sin, and the judgment against an evil work is not so recompensed. Yet God is an avenger of anyone who will deny the love that He commands for his neighbor. The first four commandments deal with our relationship to God, the last six deal with our relationship to our neighbor. We cannot say we love God, while we hate our neighbor. Jesus said a new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another as I have loved you. So do it!

  • #Render therefore to all their dues: taxes to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:7,8

Paul is telling the Roman Christians how that we must pay our taxes to the Government, as well as honor our leaders, by giving them the fear that is due their position. Then we must not be lacking in spiritual gifts. Now abides: faith, hope, and love. The greatest of these is love. We complete the whole law of God when we love our neighbor as thyself. How and who is my neighbor? God calls our neighbor everyone within our sphere of influence. The good Samaritan was the only man who stopped to help the Jewish man that had been robbed, beaten, and left half dead. The Priest and Lawyer passed him by. Jesus, asked now which had been a neighbor to him? It was the Samaritan who was the true neighbor to him, by putting him on his donkey, taking him to the Hospital, then paying his bill. Then said if anything else is owed, then charge it to my account. May we learn from this example how we are to love our neighbor and do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

  • #For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is  the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Romans 13:3,4

God has placed leaders in the Government to administer justice, and reward those who do well, as well as punish those who do evil. They do not bear the sword in vain. Capital punishment is to be carried out for those who take lives. God administered that after Noah's flood, to make sure evil would be controlled. Now that many states do not provide the death penalty for those who commit capital offenses, evil has become rampant. There must be a return to Capital punishment to put a stop to all of the crime that is taking place. Governments are there for our protection and we must pay our taxes so that the Government can do the job that God has given them to do. That is why Jesus said to render unto Ceasar, that which is due Ceasar and render unto God that which is due God.

  • #Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever, therefore, resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Romans 13:1,2

Pray for Government leaders that they will have wisdom how to lead our country to the glory of God and for the punishment of evildoers. For God would have all men to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth. Jesus is the truth that will set men free from the bondage of corruption.

  • #Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore, if thine enemy is hungry, then feed him; if he is thirsty, then give him something to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:19-21

Revenge is for the Lord, and He always repays. So fret not thyself when the wicked prosper, for they are on a banana and do not know what corner they will slip at. So feed your enemy, give him water to drink, and by so doing you put coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil by doing good works to the Father in heaven.  Our Heavenly Father will reward us openly for loving the unlovely, being kind to the ungodly, and by so doing we prove that we are the true children of God.
