Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Who delivered us from so great a death and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us: Ye also helping together by prayers for us, that the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf. II Cor. 1:10-11

God delivers us from death and he delivers us in death. For to live is Christ and to die is gain. Death is a vehicle God uses to change our address from earth to heaven. As we travel this earth doing the will of God bringing Christ to the nations, and when our journey is over he calls us home to heaven to celebrate Christ forever. We do this by your prayers as you continue to help us in the work of the Lord and we give thanks to God for you in this ministry.

  • #And whether we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same suffering which we suffer: or whether we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing that as ye are partakers of the suffering, so shall ye be also of the consolation. For we would not, brethren, have ye ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life, But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead; II Cor.1:6-9

Paul is comforting others and he wants them to be aware of the suffering that he suffered in Asia, even despairing of life. Having the very sentence of death in ourselves, only so that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead. What a joy to know that God will raise us from the dead when we have the sentence of death in ourselves. Just as God raised Jesus from the dead, we too will be raised at the resurrection of the just, which is the first resurrection. Therefore we must remain steadfast and unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord for we know that our labor is not in vain.

  • # Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. II Cor. 1:1-5

Paul is an apostle by the will of God and Timothy our brother. He is concerned about the church which is at Corinth, as well as the saints which are in all Achaia that the Grace and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ rule in their lives. As God is the Father of all comfort and all mercies. So just as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also his consolation aboundeth by Christ. No matter what we are suffering, be it the death of a loved one, or divorce or separation God will comfort us in all our tribulations. Thank God and give the same comfort to others that God has given to you. Our prayers go out to Dr. Tony Evans that the God of all comfort will console him in the homegoing of his Beloved wife. Heaven is our home and this world is our passage. We are pilgrims and strangers on our way to see the will of God done in our lives as we build the Kingdom of God on this earth. So be patient unto the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who will bring the Kingdom of God to us at his second coming.

  • #For I will not see you now by the way, but I trust to tarry a while with you if the Lord permits. But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me and there are many adversaries. Now if Timotheus comes, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. Let no man, therefore, despise him but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren. I Cor. 16:7-11

Paul is going to tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great door is and effectual is opened unto me and there are many adversaries. Thus Paul wants to see Timotheus, and for him to come without fear. Timotheus was doing the work of the Lord, as I do and he needs to come in peace: for I look for him with the brethren. I take comfort in this passage as my name, too, is Timothy which means one who honors God. No wonder Paul took great comfort in Timotheus with the other brethren.

  • #Pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall prosper who do so. The world is in need of the Prince of Peace. Soon the Government shall be on his shoulders. He shall rule from sea to sea and all peoples will submit to him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  • #O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. I Cor. 15:55-58

The sting of death is sin and Jesus Christ conquered death as well as the grave on the Cross, then three days later rose from the dead victoriously. Now therefore, brethren be ye stedfast unmoveable always abounding in the work of the Lord. Take every opportunity to do good for ye to know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Paul is a great teacher on the resurrection, death, and the grave. We thank God for the insight that the Holy Spirit gave him while he was here on earth and we can rejoice when our time comes to meet the Lord.

  • #Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. I Cor. 15:50-54

This introduces us to the doctrine of the Rapture, which is not preached much these days. As preachers are divided on pre-tribe, post-tribe and do not like to stir in controversy in their sermons. Paul is the first apostle to teach on the Rapture and it was a mystery in the Old testament. Enoch was taken and was a form of the rapture, yet it was not called so because his body was not changed. Though he escaped death, some feel that God will use him again in the tribulation as one of the two witnesses. In the Rapture, a generation of people will not see death, for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, at the last trumpet. The dead shall be raised first, then those who are alive will be changed in a moment. Quicker than you can blink your eyes, for this corruptible will put on incorruption and this mortal will put on immortality. Then shall be the saying Death is swallowed in victory for we will be in heaven forever with the Lord and our loved ones. What a glorious thought for it could happen at any moment. So we must be ready, for when we think not the Lord may come. We must stay full of the Holy Ghost every moment for the Lord could call us home when we least expect it. Warn your loved ones to repent and prepare for the coming of the Lord every day now. It is my prayer that even so come, Lord Jesus, to call Come up hither.

  • #The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is earthy, such are they also that are earthy and as is heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now, this I say, brethren, that flesh, and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherits incorruption. I Cor. 15:47-50

Thank God that when we die, we are of the earth, earthy. The second man is the Lord from heaven, for as we have borne an earthy image, now we shall bear a heavenly image of the Lord. Just as Jesus when he was resurrected he did not have flesh and blood and we too will not have flesh and blood. For flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherits incorruption. We will be totally like Jesus, for as he told Thomas to reach thither and touch me, as a spirit hath not flesh and bones. We shall be able to fly on clouds, walk through walls what a joy that will be in our glorified bodies.

  • #All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial, but the glory of the celestial is one and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is the glory of the sun and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. I Cor. 15:39-45

It is glorious to know that when we are resurrected we will not come back as an animal or some other creature, but we will have a spiritual body. It will look like our natural body, but it will be a celestial body. The body will look like Jesus as he is the quickening spirit. We too will live forever in heaven with our loved ones praising God for sending his Son into the world to save us from our sins. We will be perfect in our heavenly bodies able to have flesh and bones, yet still, walk through walls. Thank God for the resurrection and we must not sorrow as those who have no hope, for Jesus is our blessed hope.

  • #But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the firstfruits of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. I Cor. 15:20,22

Thank God for allowing us to see 2020 and all because Christ is risen from the dead. He is the firstfruits of the dead, for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. To those who lost loved ones in the Church shootings, there will be a resurrection from the dead both of the just and of the unjust. There is coming a day when all in the grave will hear His voice, those that have been dead and done good, to the resurrection of the just, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of the unjust.
