Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #That they may posses the remnant of Edom and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. Amos 9:12-15

Jehovah God shall grant the remnant righteous seed to posses the remnant of Edom and all the heathen, which are called by my name. The amazing truth is the plowman shall over take the reaper and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt. Amos being a herdsman and succomor farmer had to jump for joy at the news of this knowing that all that he had planted would reap the prosperity that Jehovah had promised. Then the Lord will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel and they  shall build the waste cities and inhabit them and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. Nothing is more joyous for a farmer than to make gardens and eat the fruit of them. Amos is understanding why Jehovah God chose him to bring this message of hope for the children of Israel and that hope would guide them from their captivity to enjoy all that Jehovah God would do for them. Then the last promise is he would plant them in the land of Israel and they would never be pulled up out of the land which He had given them saith Jehovah. In 1948 Israel became a nation and they are planted in their land today and we must continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper that do so.

  • #For, lo, I will command and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which says, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. Amos 9:9,10

Israel was sifted among all nations like as corn is sifted in a sieve, but Jehovah shall watch over them and not the least grain shall fall upon the earth. God always has a remnant among his people that will not sin and will remain faithful to the Lord. Therefore the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, but evil will not overtake nor prevent the remnant that remains faithful to the Lord. We in America are blessed, but the rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer. Let the wicked forsake their ways and let them return unto the Lord for He will abundantly pardon. God will shake us as a fig tree is shaken of her figs in a storm and we must call upon the name of the Lord. For the Lord in that day will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up the breaches thereof and He will raise up the ruins and He will build it as in the days of old: So just wait patiently on the Lord and he will give you the wings as eagles where you will run and not be weary, as well as walk and not faint. David learned a lot about waiting upon the Lord and he delivered him from the miry pit. We are in a pit with this coronavirus pandemic, but the Lord is able to save us when we call upon Him in the hour of trial and just wait patiently for him to deliver us.

  • #Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor and the Syrians from Kir? Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. Amos 9:7,8

Thank the Lord God that he is merciful to the house of Jacob and Jehovah shall not utterly destroy the house of Jacob. He will punish the sinful kingdom. We must pray to the Lord to save us from idolatry for the Lord God has told us that jealousy is his name and we must not have any god before us. Thank God that he will forgive when we repent of our sins and turn our eyes upon Jesus. Our world is in the midst of the worst climate change in the history of mankind and still, there are those doubters who do not believe in climate change. We have seen wildfires, and hurricanes ravish America more that ever before. The carbon footprint is truly the cause of this climate change problem that we are suffering from. Jesus warned us that there would be signs in the sun, moon, and the stars and the seas and the roaring of the oceans, as well as upon earth distress of nations with perplexity. This is the sin of climate change that is causing this perplexity and man does not want to repent of idolatry that has caused this problem. Thank God that Jesus will deliver us from climate change when he comes to stop those from destroying the earth. When he sets up his kingdom there will be a perfect environment and the ecology will be at peace. The wolf will lay down with the lamb and there will be peace in the valley when the Prince of Peace is ruling from Jerusalem. Let us pray for the peace of Jerusalem for they shall prosper that does so.

  • #And the Lord GOD of hosts are he that toucheth the land and it shall melt and all that dwell therein shall mourn and it shall rise up wholly like a flood and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. Amos 9:5,6

It is Adonia the God of angel armies that touches the land and it shall melt and all that dwell therein shall mourn and it shall rise up wholly like a flood and shall be drowned as by the flood of Egypt. We are in the midst of tropical storms and climate change is causing the ocean levels to rise and flooding impacting the coastal towns.  It is time that we repent of this carbon pollution to save our children and grandchildren from the impending floods. It is Jehovah God that builds his stories in the heaven and hath founded his troop in the earth; he is the one that calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth. Jehovah is his name and he shall be praised in the midst of all these events. For the Lord God is restoring the years that the locust has ruined when we return to the Lord with all our hearts. Climate change is the sin of the day and it is time to pray that man will obey the words of the Lord and stop destroying the environment. God is the one that sits upon the circle of the earth and he will do good for us when we plead the Blood of Jesus and turn to him for the forgiveness of our sins. I have been a minister for 28 years and I have seen the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I will fall upon the mercy of God, for he is plenteous in mercy. We can start again and see the hand of God move in a mighty way to correct the damage of climate change when we call out to him.

  • #I saw the Lord standing upon the altar and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake and cut them in the head, all of them and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand takes them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence and though they are hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent and he shall bite them: And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword and it shall slay them and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil and not for good. Amos 9:1-4

Amos sees Adonia standing upon the altar and he said Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: this reminds us of the Passover when Jehovah God commanded the children of Israel to place the hyssop upon the doorpost of the lintel and the death angel would pass over the firstborn male of Israel. Now instead this is a judgment where they will be cut in the head, all of them and I will slay the last of them with the sword: Though they escape by digging into hell, thence my hand shall take them: though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: Though they hide in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence: though they are hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent and he shall bite them: though they be taken into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword and it shall slay them, and my eyes shall be upon them for evil and not for good. What contrasts Jer. 29:11 where he gives them a future and a hope, yet this judgment has come upon them because of their idolatry.

  • #And they shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. They that swear by the sin of Samaria and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth and The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall and never rise up again. Amos 8:12-14

In that day, is a theological phrase that denotes the last days, which is referred to in the Bible of the time of Jacob's trouble and there will be great apostasy upon the earth of hearing the words of the Lord God. We see the fair virgins and young men will faint for thirst, as they will go from sea to sea and from north even to the east to and fro seeking the word of Jehovah. They shall not find it because of the great famine of hearing the word of the Lord God. The Lord shall raise up two prophets who shall be like Moses and Elijah. They shall turn the hearts of the children to their fathers and the hearts of the fathers to the children. This will be a time of unprecedented revival that shall come upon the earth. May the Lord give us the patience to wait on his timing when he shall bring all these things to the past and as we pray for a cure for the coronavirus pandemic to be over. I thank God for the fellowship of the saints as we wait on the coming of the Lord, for the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. Those that know their God shall shine as the stars of heaven.

  • #And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning and all your songs into lamentation and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins and baldness upon every head and I will make it as the mourning of an only son and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD; Amos 8:9-11

Jehovah God tells Amos that he will cause the sun to go down at noon and will darken the earth in the clear day. As well as turn the feasts of the Israelite into mourning as of an only son. Then baldness on every head and sackcloth upon all loins. Then the shocking judgment of a famine in the land, not of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah. What a judgment as we are living in a day in America in this pandemic when churches are virtual and many have turned their ears away from the truth. People are wandering from sea to sea to seek the word of the Lord God. My prayers are that there will come a great awakening upon the earth of hearing the word of God and that he would raise up great preachers who will say thus saith the Lord. And as Samuel saith speak Lord, for thy servants listens.

  • #Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making ephah small and the shekel great and falsifying the balances by deceit? That we may buy the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea and sell the refuse of the wheat? The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. Amos 8:5-7

Jehovah God has sworn by the excellency of Jacob that surely he will not forget their works. The falsifying the balances by deceit, as well as buying the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of shoes; this is a representative of what is happening in America now with the income inequality that is taking place between the rich and the poor. Jehovah is a buckler for the poor and he will not forget the deceit of holding back their wages by the rich. Israel was judged for this behavior and America will be too, if she does not repent of this wickedness. We pray that the Church will be salt and light in this time of apostasy to save this country from this evil.

  • #Thus hath the Lord GOD showed unto me and behold a basket of summer fruit. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end has come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them anymore. And the songs of the temple shall be howling in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. Amos 8:1-3

Adonia tells Amos to look at what he can see and Amos replied I see a basket of summer fruit. Then Jehovah God tells him the end has come upon my people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore. What a tragedy this is today as America is seeing the wrath of climate change and wildfires in the Westcoast and Hurricanes in the Eastcoast ravishing the land, and still the people do not call upon the name of the Lord for salvation. As in Israel, the temple shall be howling on that day and there will be many dead bodies. This period will happen in the great tribulation. We are in the days just before the rapture of the Church when God will pour out his wrath on a Christ-rejecting world.

  • #Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD. Thus he showed me and behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said a plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more: And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword. Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land. Amos 7:5-11

Amos sees the plague of the grasshoppers and now he begs Adonai to save Jacob for he is small. Then Adonai shows Amos the wall built by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand and says I shall set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more: Idolatry is the reason for this judgment and Amaziah the priest of Bethel has failed to warn Jeroboam to repent of his idolatry. So Jehovah God calls Amos, a herdsman. and a gatherer of sycomore fruit to pronounce the judgment is coming. Amaziah's wife will become a harlot, his sons and daughters will fall by the sword, Amaziah will die in a polluted land. Jeroboam shall die by the sword and Israel will be led into captivity. We must warn as preachers of God the people of God of impending gloom if they fail to repent of their idolatry. Amaziah failed to do this but told Amos to flee into Judah and eat bread, as well as prophesy there. People do not want to hear the message of judgment but will heap to themselves those that will tickle their ears with stories that make them feel good. What a parallel we see today in the Church and it is a sign that God will judge America for her idolatry and hold the false preachers accountable for their blood.
