Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Pass ye unto Calneh and see and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border? Ye that put far away the evil day and causes the seat of violence to come near; That lie upon beds of ivory and stretch themselves upon their couches and eat the lambs out of the flock and the calves out of the midst of the stall; That chant to the sound of the viol and invent themselves instruments of music, like David; That drink wine in bowls and anoint themselves with the chief ointments but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Amos 6:2-6

Pray for the Police officers that were ambushed and that the violence will end. We are living in the days of Noah, as violence filled the earth and it repented God that he had created man.  Israel would drink wine in bowls and anoint themselves with chief ointments but did not grieve for the affliction of Joseph. We must care for those who are afflicted and in trouble just as Joseph saved the world from the great famine in Egypt when he was Prime Minister. Joseph said they meant it for evil, but God meant it for good that many people would be saved. Have compassion for all those suffering from the wild-fires and Hurricanes. May we turn to Jesus Christ the great Savior of the world to redeem us from affliction.

  • #Woe to them that are at ease in Zion and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel come! Amos 6:1

For Israel was at ease in Zion and trusted in the mountain of Samaria. God was jealous of their idolatry and turned them over to their enemies. We are seeing the same scenario in America, many are at ease on the stock market and trusting in Wall Street to keep them at ease. God is jealous of this idolatry and is sending wild-fires in the Westcoast and hurricanes in the Eastcoast. O that the Church will stand up and be the salt, as well as light in this apocalyptic time. We are seeing the beginning of the end times as this world-wide pandemic has the whole world on lockdown and searching for answers. Jesus is the only answer to the world in these dark days and it is up to the people of God to ring in holiness and put an end to the idolatry of the day. The children of Israel were trusting in Samaria instead of trusting in God. Today many are trusting in Wall Street instead of trusting in Jesus the light of the world. It is time to weep and mourn over our sins and turn to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we do this God will restore the years that the locust has eaten and replace the crops that the cankerworm has destroyed. God has placed the Church to be salt and light in a dark world that needs light. May we shine for Jesus and sing His praises in these last days is my prayer in Jesus's name Amen!

  • #Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is the God of hosts. Amos 5:25-27

Jehovah God does not accept the offering and sacrifices that the Israelites did offer in the wilderness for forty years. Because they have borne the tabernacle of Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god which ye made to yourselves. Idolatry was the sin that caused God to cast off his people into captivity beyond Damascus said Jehovah the God of angel armies. We too in America have idols of sports figures, and wall street. It is time for us to repent before God causes us to go into captivity. Thou shalt not have any gods before me saith the Lord God. We must love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, and souls. The second commandment is like unto this thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. So my brothers and sisters let us repent of our idolatry by turning to Jesus in faith by the Holy Spirit. I am sure that we will see God bless us with the early and latter rains on our crops. May God bless America and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  • #But let judgment run down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. Amos 5:24

We are mourning the anniversary of September 11, 2001, which was the greatest disaster since Pearl Harbor. We pray as Amos was prophesying to the Israelites to let judgment run down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. This verse was quoted by Martin Luther King in the Civil Rights movement and it reminds us that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. It is time to end racism and work to bring peace on earth. As Athletes bring attention to the issues of racism it is time that the Church addresses systemic racism in this country. It is still lawful to discriminate against ministers of color who would preach in white churches, by the ministerial exception. When justice runs like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream, we will be able to end these discriminatory actions in the Church and society. As Jesus preached on the Sermon on the Mount: Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. It is not easy as a minister to bring people together as birds of a feather tend to flock together. Yet we must continue to hold up the blood-stained Banner and fight the good fight of faith. Let love rule in all our relationships and do good to all men especially to those of the house of faith.

  • #Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned on the wall and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness and not light? even very dark and no brightness in it? I hate I despise your feast days and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Amos 5:18-21

Jehovah God warned those that desire the day of the Lord, for it shall be darkness and not light. It will be as though a man did flee from a lion to run into a bear. What a metaphor and as if a man went into a house and leaned on a wall, then a serpent bit him. This will be a time of great sorrow that shall come upon the whole world. We are to watch and pray so that we will be counted worthy to escape the day of the Lord. Just as God saved Noah and his family from the flood, as well as just Lot from the hail and brimstone of Sodom. Yet Jehovah despises your feast days and he will not smell in your solemn assemblies. It is a time when there will be great lukewarmness in the Church and Jesus shall spew out of his mouth all those who say I am rich and have need of nothing. Jesus admonishes us to buy gold tried in the fire and to repent less that day comes upon you unawares. The Philadelphia church is given the promise because you kept the word of my patience, I will keep thee from the hour of trial that shall come upon the whole world. This is the rapture of the church that is promised to all those who will love his appearing.

  • #Seek good and not evil, that ye may live and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil and love the good and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the  Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas, and they shall call the husbandman to mourn and such as are skillful of lamentation to wailing. And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD. Amos 5:14-17

Jehovah God tells the Israelites to seek good and not evil, that ye may live and the God of host shall be with you. Nevertheless, because you did not obey the command of the Lord there will be wailing in the streets and they shall say in all the highways Alas! as the farmers will be mourning as well as the skillful of lamentation will wail. What a warning we have in America today as fires ravish the Westcoast and Hurricanes destroy the Eastcoast. We must mourn for our sins and turn to God with wailing by seeking to do good. Homes need to be put back together and God must be the first place in our lives. For, these are all the signs that the day of the Lord is coming as a thief in the night. For it shall catch all the world by surprise. Jesus warned as the days of Noah and Lot were, so would be the coming of the Lord. It is my prayer that Pastors will preach repentance toward Christ and the forgiveness of sins for people to turn back to the Lord before the tribulation comes.

  • #That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress. They hate him that rebuketh in the gate and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly. Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them: ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine of them. Amos 5:9-11

Jehovah God is he that strengthens the spoiled against the strong and the wicked people hate the righteous that rebukes in the gate and hate those that speaks uprightly. Therefore God will chastise the rich for treading upon the poor and for taking from the poor burdens of wheat. The rich will build hewn stone houses, but shall not dwell in them. They shall plant vineyards, but ye shall not drink the wine from them. What a warning that is to the wicked and America as the income inequality gets wider and the poor have their wages taken from them. Seek Jehovah God and pray for justice to run down like rivers and the righteous will prosper in the land of the living. May God have mercy on America for the grace of God is upon her.

  • #Ye who turn judgment to wormwood and leave off righteousness in the earth, Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion and turneth the shadow of death into the morning and maketh the day dark with the night: that calleth for the waters of the sea and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: Amos 5:7,8

Jehovah God tells the Israelites that turn judgment to wormwood and leave off righteousness in the earth to seek him that made the seven stars and Orion. The seven stars of God and the seven spirits of God are manifest of his power in the heavens. Stars are symbolic of people as in the resurrection one star will differ from another star in glory. As God turns the shadow of death into the morning and makes the day dark with the night; he is telling us to seek him early because Jesus who defeated the last enemy of the cross death, when he rose the third day. How mighty is our God that calls the waters of the sea and pours them upon the face of the earth: Jehovah is his name and he is most holy. Therefore as the people of God must be holy as he has commanded us. For soon the stars will fall from heaven when Jesus comes to redeem the earth from the curse of sin. So let us worship the Lord as the sun, moon, and the stars above do.

  • #For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me and ye shall live: But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity and Bethel shall come to nought. Seek the LORD and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph and devour it and there be none to quench it in Bethel. Amos 5:4-6

Yes the Israelites were seeking Bethel, and entering Gilgal, while passing through Beersheba. Jehovah God warned them that Gilgal would go into captivity and Bethel would come to nought. We too as Christians are warned not to love the world, for the things of this world, the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life will pass away. We must seek God so that we may live, by turning away from idolatry. It is so easy for us to get caught up into this world, just like the Isralites were caught up in Bethel and Gilgal. Jehovah warns us that if we do not seek him, he will break out like fire in the house of Joseph and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. God wants us to live holy lives, by repenting of our sins and turning to Jesus the Author and perfector of our faith.

  • #Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up. Amos 5:1,2

The Lord of hosts has left the virgin house of Israel because of her idolatry. They are warned to seek Jehovah God and do good so that they may live. What a warning that is for America to return to the Lord and restore the wages of the poor that they have robbed. God is a forgiving God who will forgive when we repent of our sins and do good in the land of the living.
