Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth: 1John 1:6

The apostle John is telling us that if we say that we have fellowship with God, but walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth because God is Light. We must be honest with ourselves for God knows all the truth about us. Churches are full of people that are dishonest and not walking in the truth. In order for us to have fellowship with the Father, we must repent of all known sins of commission as well as omission. When we do this our fellowship is restored and we are then walking in the Light of the word of God. It is my prayer that we will be convicted by this scripture and confess our faults one with the other so that we can be healed of our sin problem. If you are being unfaithful to your spouse, then repent and turn to faith in Jesus our Mediator between God and man. Be at peace with all men and follow holiness, for without holiness no man will see the Lord. When we do that we will no longer be walking in darkness but in the light.

  • #This then is the message which we have heard of him and declare unto you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1John 1:5

God is light and there is no darkness at all in Him. He is absolute holiness, purity, and love. Jesus the Son of God is the express image of his person. In Jesus, we have fellowship with the Father and walk in the light to the glory of God. Thank God that we are complete in Him and have love, one with the other. Jesus came to reveal the Father to us and how we are to live in the light of His Word. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto our pathway. As we prepare to start the first week of 2021, let us pray to the Lord to give us the wisdom to walk in the light as He is the light of this world. We must give hope to a world in darkness so that they will see that we are sons of God and glorify our Father who is in heaven. May the Lord bless you to receive Him as your Personal Lord and Savior so that you will have the light of Lights in your life.

  • #And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1John 1:4

The joy of the Lord is our strength and the apostle John is writing unto us so that our joy can be full. In a world full of despair we need joy in our lives and that is what happens when we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. We have joy in the Lord and fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. My joy is complete every day I live to tell others what it is to have a personal relationship with the Father. It is my prayer that the Church from this time forward, will walk in the joy of the Lord in this pandemic. Many people are suffering from depression and Christians are not exempt from this illness. So be full of the Spirit and you will have joy in your lives even in a pandemic. My God is able to see that your joy is full and that you can walk circumspectly with the church of Jesus Christ.

  • #That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

The Greek word for fellowship is Koinonia which is a cluster of grapes on a vine. That is the fellowship that we have with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. By walking in the Light as He is in the Light we have fellowship one with another. In order for us to do that we must abide in the Vine, Jesus Christ, the one Mediator between God and man. What a blessing when we are walking in the light and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin. We have peace with God the Father and with one another. I thank God for the Church that is walking in the Light of his Word and allowing brothers and sisters to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The body of Christ is being nourished by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is ministering to the believers with each spiritual gift.

  • #That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 1 John 1:1

The apostle John is telling us about the beginning of Jesus Christ, the Logos, the living Word who came out of eternity to give us eternal life. To be an apostle, you had to see Jesus Christ, and John not only saw Him, but he handled Him and heard him. He was the apostle that Jesus loved and would lay his head upon his breast. The Word was made flesh and He dwelt among us and what a privilege it was to see Jesus Christ the anointed one who would take away the sin of the world. This is what John is going to be preaching to us about how to have fellowship with the Word and we do that by receiving Him as our Lord and Savior. Thank God for allowing us to come into a New Year 2021 and we want to have joy in our lives and fellowship with the Father of Lights. 2020 was a trying year and many don't want to think about it again, but God is good and He saw us through the coronavirus pandemic in the midst of isolation. Now we need fellowship with God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • #Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger forever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:18-20

The Lord is a God who pardons sin and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage. Thank God that he does not retain his anger forever and he delights in mercy. Then he casts our sins into the depths of the sea. So as we prepare to celebrate the end of 2020, let us forget our failures and sins by casting them into the depths of the sea as God does, then never fish for them again. Let us resolve to forgive others who have hurt or offended us and start the new year with good cheer.

  • #According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I show unto him marvelous things. The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. Micah 7:15,16

God delivers the Israelites out of Egypt with marvelous things by parting the Red Sea and the nations that saw it were confounded at all their might. They became mute and deaf. What a mighty God we serve to thank the Lord for President Trump signing the stimulus bill. Let us continue to pray for those with the coronavirus and for the vaccine distribution to go off smoothly. The same God that delivered the Israelites will deliver us from this pandemic.

  • #Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings. Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. Micah 7:13,14

The flock of God will be desolate because of the fruit of their doings yet God shall raise up pastors to guide the flock out of the desolation into solitary confinement with him. They will be sent to Gilead a fruitful place so they can bear fruits of righteousness and in Bashan a place of safety.

  • #In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed. In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria and from the fortified cities and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain. Micah 7:11,12

In the end times, the decree that Artaxerxes gave will be removed that abolished the temple from being rebuilt. In fulfillment of the prophecy to King David and the Messiah shall reign from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain. What a blessing this will be for the government shall be on his shoulders and there will be peace in the valley.

  • #Then she that is mine enemy shall see it and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. Micah 7:10

Jehovah God shall let Israel and Judah see their enemies trodden down as the mire of the streets. It is dangerous to persecute the people of God. For, Israel is the apple of his eye and he will bless those that bless Her and curse those that curse her. This is also a metaphor about marriage as husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. Israel is the wife of Jehovah God and He will protect her from all her enemies. So as we prepare to enter the New Year we need to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem for they shall prosper that do so. Let us also pray for families that are isolated in this coronavirus pandemic that God will allow the vaccines to bring about an end to the pandemic. When your time comes to take the vaccine, then take it without worrying about the possible side effects. We walk by faith and not by sight, so trust God to let the vaccine work in your body to strengthen your immune system against the virus. Then pray for our leaders to do the right thing and pass a stimulus bill that will help the American people to stay in their homes. By raising up holy hands to God He will hear our prayers as we trust him to make a way for us because Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except by Him.
