Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. Song of Solomon 6:4

Happy Juneteenth, as today in 1865 President Abraham Lincoln sent the Union Soldiers to Galveston, Texas to tell the black slaves the Emancipation Proclamation had liberated them two years after it was signed. We are liberated from the slave house of sin by the Lord Jesus Christ and when He comes again in the Second coming His feet will land on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, as terrible as an army with banners. We will be riding white horses, and Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords will be on a white horse and a sword will come out of His mouth then He will tell the antichrist and his army to drop dead. This is an apocalyptic verse speaking of the end times for how beautiful is our Lord Jesus Christ when He will establish His kingdom on earth and they will study war no more and beat their swords into pruning hooks. There will be perfect peace no more slaves for the devil will be locked up in the abyss falling for one thousand years and the antichrist, with the false prophet, will be cast into the lake of fire. The Kingdom of God which was promised to David and his descendants will take place in Jerusalem as the Capital of the world. What a glorious day that shall be when my Jesus we will see reigning forever.

  • #I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the Lilies. Song of Solomon 6:3

The Shulamite is her beloved's and Solomon is her husband. He feeds among the lilies: which is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church. Jesus is the Lily among the valleys and we feed upon Him. Jesus is the bread of life and whosoever eats Him has eternal life. We will be forever linked to Jesus throughout eternity celebrating the love that the Father has for us. Jesus said I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish. It is a blessing to hear that my beloved is mine and I am His. This is the blessing of marriage and the family of God. Lilies are symbolic of beauty and power. Jesus is, therefore, the King of kings and Lord of lords and has the ultimate power to keep us safe in the care of our heavenly home. I hope that you will ask Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior so that you too will be secure in the Father's hand.

  • #My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens and to gather lilies. Song of Solomon 6:2

The Shulamite bride has been looking for Solomon her beloved husband and she finds him in the garden feeding on the beds of spices while gathering lilies. Marriage is best kept pure when there is romance and that is why God put Adam in the Garden of Eden first then He formed Eve his wife to comfort him.  Having a garden will put romance in your marriage which is something that our grandparents knew very well. We lived longer when more people had gardens and smelling the spices in your garden is very romantic. My wife and I were blessed to have her father and mother live with us for a year and he was a horticulturalists. We enjoyed the blessing of having a garden and he planted fruit trees. I am missing those fruit trees now that the Texas freeze killed all the fruit trees that were planted. We are guardians of this earth and we must reduce the carbon footprint which has caused Climate change and we are losing our gardens to more inclimate weather patterns. Farmers are suffering tremendous ecological disasters more now than ever before in the history of farming. So we had better wake up and smell the roses before it is too late.

  • #Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. Song of Solomon 6:1

Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled but fornicators, as well as adulterers, will be judged. The other women of Jerusalem are seeking to have a relationship with Solomon and the Shulamite is doing the honorable thing to keep the marriage holy. We are living in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. So it is important to do everything to keep your marriage from all those who are seeking to promote immorality. Marriage is a covenant with God and only God can keep the marriage holy when we submit to His commandments. Pride month is not the way to glorify marriage as God created Eve for Adam, not Steve. Pride goes before destruction so be humble and abide by the commandments.

  • #His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. Song of Solomon 5:16

This is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Father said this is my beloved Son hear ye Him and He is altogether lovely. Jesus is our friend for He told us everything the Father told Him to do. So if you need a friend, then there is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, for He will never leave you or forsake you and He will be with you until the very end. This pandemic has caused many to be isolated and lonely thank God for Jesus comforting us in times like these. I pray that you will seek Him early in the morning for He is the Bright and Morning Star.

  • #His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. Song of Solomon 5:15

This is a picture of Jesus Christ in all of His glory, as Jesus spoke of Solomon not clothing himself as the lilies of the field, so he is giving us what Jesus will look like in His unveiling in the book of the Apocalypse. We will see Him as He is for when He appears we will be just like Him fashioned after His glory. Cedar trees are stately trees and are very tall symbolizing the Kingdom of God will start as a mustard seed and yet grow into a tall cedar tree.

  • #His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. Song of Solomon 5:14                                                                                                                    This is a picture of the glorified Lord Jesus Christ in all of His glory as of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and we will spend eternity in heaven praising His as the Lamb of God that was slain for the sins of the world. We are engrafted into the vine by faith and we too will get glorified bodies like His when we all get to heaven. Seeing these things what manner of persons should we be in all godliness and holiness. Let us put off the former clothes of the flesh and be clothed in the righteousness of Christ. II Cor. 5:17 if any man is in Christ Jesus he is a new creation for the former things are passed away and all things have become new.

  • #His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. Son of Solomon 5:13

Solomon was as cheeks are spices and sweet flowers, his lips like lilies dropping sweet smelling myrrh to the Shulamite wife. This is how marriage is supposed to be and this is the love that the Lord Jesus Christ has for the Church. Agape love smelled myrrh even when crucified on the cross for our sins. We too must lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. This is how we show our love for Jesus the lily of the valley. Though our lives are as sweet flowers, yet the outward man is fading away, while the inner man is renewed day by day. We must take time to smell the flowers because life is so short and man is but a vapor here today and tomorrow we die. Thank God we will receive our glorified bodies when Jesus comes again in the first resurrection to change these mortal bodies into immortality, and this terrestrial body into celestial bodies.

  • #His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the river of waters, washed with milk and fitly set. Song of Solomon 5:12

The dove has such beautiful eyes and the Shulamite wife compares Solomon's eyes to that of doves by the river of waters, washed with milk and fitly set. This is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ when He was baptized in the Jordan river a dove descended upon Him and the voice of the Lord said this is my Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. The eyes of the Lord go two and fro beholding all things that are good as well as evil. We must turn our eyes upon Jesus and look firmly in His face since we have been saved by His grace.

  • #His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy and black as a raven. Song of Solomon 5:11

To look like Jesus is the goal to be fine gold, as Job said when the Lord is through with me I shall come forth as pure gold. Having hair with bushy locks and black as a raven would indicate that our heavenly glorified bodies will be perfect with youthful hair as we will be forever young no more bald heads as some of us have to endure in our final days on earth. God used ravens to feed Elijah and this is an example of us feeding on the eternal Word of God as a lamp unto our feet as well as a light unto our pathway. This pandemic that we are going through will be forgotten for the former things will be passed away.
