Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

The Greek word for fellowship is Koinonia which is a cluster of grapes on a vine. That is the fellowship that we have with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. By walking in the Light as He is in the Light we have fellowship one with another. In order for us to do that we must abide in the Vine, Jesus Christ, the one Mediator between God and man. What a blessing when we are walking in the light and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin. We have peace with God the Father and with one another. I thank God for the Church that is walking in the Light of his Word and allowing brothers and sisters to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The body of Christ is being nourished by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is ministering to the believers with each spiritual gift.

  • #That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 1 John 1:1

The apostle John is telling us about the beginning of Jesus Christ, the Logos, the living Word who came out of eternity to give us eternal life. To be an apostle, you had to see Jesus Christ, and John not only saw Him, but he handled Him and heard him. He was the apostle that Jesus loved and would lay his head upon his breast. The Word was made flesh and He dwelt among us and what a privilege it was to see Jesus Christ the anointed one who would take away the sin of the world. This is what John is going to be preaching to us about how to have fellowship with the Word and we do that by receiving Him as our Lord and Savior. Thank God for allowing us to come into a New Year 2021 and we want to have joy in our lives and fellowship with the Father of Lights. 2020 was a trying year and many don't want to think about it again, but God is good and He saw us through the coronavirus pandemic in the midst of isolation. Now we need fellowship with God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • #Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger forever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:18-20

The Lord is a God who pardons sin and passes over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage. Thank God that he does not retain his anger forever and he delights in mercy. Then he casts our sins into the depths of the sea. So as we prepare to celebrate the end of 2020, let us forget our failures and sins by casting them into the depths of the sea as God does, then never fish for them again. Let us resolve to forgive others who have hurt or offended us and start the new year with good cheer.

  • #According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I show unto him marvelous things. The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. Micah 7:15,16

God delivers the Israelites out of Egypt with marvelous things by parting the Red Sea and the nations that saw it were confounded at all their might. They became mute and deaf. What a mighty God we serve to thank the Lord for President Trump signing the stimulus bill. Let us continue to pray for those with the coronavirus and for the vaccine distribution to go off smoothly. The same God that delivered the Israelites will deliver us from this pandemic.

  • #Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings. Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. Micah 7:13,14

The flock of God will be desolate because of the fruit of their doings yet God shall raise up pastors to guide the flock out of the desolation into solitary confinement with him. They will be sent to Gilead a fruitful place so they can bear fruits of righteousness and in Bashan a place of safety.

  • #In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed. In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria and from the fortified cities and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain. Micah 7:11,12

In the end times, the decree that Artaxerxes gave will be removed that abolished the temple from being rebuilt. In fulfillment of the prophecy to King David and the Messiah shall reign from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain. What a blessing this will be for the government shall be on his shoulders and there will be peace in the valley.

  • #Then she that is mine enemy shall see it and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. Micah 7:10

Jehovah God shall let Israel and Judah see their enemies trodden down as the mire of the streets. It is dangerous to persecute the people of God. For, Israel is the apple of his eye and he will bless those that bless Her and curse those that curse her. This is also a metaphor about marriage as husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. Israel is the wife of Jehovah God and He will protect her from all her enemies. So as we prepare to enter the New Year we need to continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem for they shall prosper that do so. Let us also pray for families that are isolated in this coronavirus pandemic that God will allow the vaccines to bring about an end to the pandemic. When your time comes to take the vaccine, then take it without worrying about the possible side effects. We walk by faith and not by sight, so trust God to let the vaccine work in your body to strengthen your immune system against the virus. Then pray for our leaders to do the right thing and pass a stimulus bill that will help the American people to stay in their homes. By raising up holy hands to God He will hear our prayers as we trust him to make a way for us because Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father except by Him.

  • #I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light and I shall behold his righteousness. Micah 7:9

Micah acknowledges as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Then he looks forward to the promise of salvation by the Messiah on the cross who will bring us to the light, Jesus Christ the only Mediator between God and man. Now I shall behold his righteousness when he comes in the Second Advent to establish his kingdom. The Kingdom of God was promised to David and Jesus the Messiah will usher it in when Satan is cast out of this world. This is the blessed hope of the Church for the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must bear fruits of righteousness until he comes again to gather us from this world. Jehovah God is angry with us for a moment when we sin against God but the Holy Spirit rebukes us with guilt until we repent. The dark night of sin will be over soon and joy will come in the morning when Jesus resurrects all of his children to reign with him in the kingdom. O praise His name forever for Jesus shines in our hearts today to convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

  • #Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. Micah 7:8

We can rejoice that over 2000 years ago the Lord Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem, to the Virgin Mary and Joseph in the line of King David, and in his hypostatic union, He is very God and very Man as the Holy Spirit impregnated the Virgin Mary. A people who walk in darkness have seen a great Light and when Adam fell in the Garden of Eden, Satan thought he had defeated God but on the Cross, Jesus defeated Satan crushing his head that old serpent the Devil and three days later He arose from the dead when he took captivity captive, by defeating the last enemy that we all have as death died. O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? for the sting of death is sin. Christ defeated sin on the cross when He said it is finished. Now we rise with Jesus and no longer can our enemy the Devil rejoice over us. For to live is Christ and to die is gain. Thank God for giving us that indescribable victory. Micah prophecies this over 700 years before it happened by saying out of the Bethlehem Eprahta a governer will appear. Jesus is that Governer and we look to him to take back the kingdoms of this world from Satan that Adam handed to him in the Garden of Eden. We no longer have to mourn for Jesus's lives and because He lives, I shall live also. Merry Christmas to all and as you sit around the fireplace warming yourselves, think of this great victory that we have in Jesus the Light of the world now shines in our hearts.

  • #Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Micah 7:7

Micah sees all the perfidious men and yet Israel and Judah the remnant of them fear God. Thus they learn to wait while looking to Jehovah God. My God will hear me. As we come to the eve of the First Advent of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ coming into this dark world, truly God did hear our cry in the darkness. Now a great light has come Emmanuel is with us and has given us the victory over this world. May all those who are isolated in this coronavirus pandemic look to Jesus our Savior, for he is no longer in a manger, but is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. Looking unto Jesus the Arthur and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in glory. We must always keep our focus in these holidays and remember it is all about Jesus, and not unto us, but to thy name give all the glory. Waiting on the Lord is the best thing we can do, for we take on the wings of eagles, and we run not being weary, and walk not fainting. So take time out and meditate on the goodness of the Lord that has left us in the land of the living to sing his praises. He will come again and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him and every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is Lord to the glory of God.
