A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13
The apostle John has written these things that you may believe in the name of the Son of God and this is done so that you may know that you have eternal life by placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. So if anyone asks you how can you know you have eternal life? Use this verse because God wants us to have the complete assurance of our eternal life. No other Religion gives such a determination as Christianity does, mainly because of the relationship that we have by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Take time to spend time outside enjoying the birds singing which informs us of the faithfulness of the Lord and do not worry since God provides for the birds, then how much greater are we than the birds, therefore, He will provide for us the eternal life that we need.
#He that hath the Son hath life and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:12
Yes, this is the record of eternal life, that he that has the Son has life and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Your salvation is completely dependent upon your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, as God has sent His Son into the world as our propitiation for our sins and if you reject Him then not only do you not have life, but the wrath of God dwells on you. This is a sobering passage in the Bible and should cause you to think have I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It is my prayer in this coronavirus pandemic that you will receive the Son today as your Personal Lord and Savior.

The European countries are celebrating the Easter Monday Holiday and we have just celebrated Resurrection Sunday. This is the record that we have that Jesus Christ has risen from the grave with all power in His hands and has given us the eternal life that God the Father promised us by believing in His Son. O death where is thy Sting? O grave where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law: thanks be unto God who has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is my favorite Holiday as, without the resurrection, Christmas would be in vain. Yet now is Christ risen from the dead and become the firstfruits of all those who sleep in the grave. Now we too will have our glorified bodies just like Jesus when we rise from the dead. We also have the blessed hope that we will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the appearance of Christ in the Rapture. May the Lord bless you with that eternal life by placing your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
#O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1 Cor. 15:55
Up from the grave, Jesus Christ arose, full of power over sin and the grave. The sting of death is sin, and Jesus gave us the victory when He said: It is finished!!! Now we have hope when we stand at the gravesite of a loved one that we too will be victorious over the grave because Jesus lives, we shall live also. Thank God for doubting Thomas who said except I shall feel the nail prints in his hands I shall not believe. Then Jesus said reach here Thomas, and be not unbelieving. Then Thomas reached and said: MY Lord and MY God. Jesus said Thomas you believe because you have seen, but I say blessed are those who believe and have not seen. My brothers and sisters that is us, we believe and say He arose, from the grave. It is my prayer that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that you will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the grave while confessing with your mouth that He is Lord to be saved.
#He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son. 1 John 5:10
Jesus took captivity captive as He transferred Paradise in Sheol, to heaven and gave gifts unto men. This is the witness of the Son of God and by believing this you have the witness in yourself. However, he who believes not the witness of God hath made Him a liar, because he believes not the witness of the scriptures God gave of His Son. It is impossible for God to lie so believe the witness of God for it is greater and you will have eternal life for doing so. Many people get caught up in easter egg hunts, but this is a pagan practice and has nothing to do with the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and plant seeds of faith in others so that they will believe the witness of God to be saved. Whosoever will confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and shall believe in his heart that God hath raised Him from the grave shall be saved.
#If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son. 1 John 5:9
As we celebrate Good Friday, many people say why is it good? The reason is that Jesus submitted to the will of God the Father and endured the cross, despising the shame, and purchased our salvation with the blood and the water of regeneration. This is the witness of God which is greater than the witness of man, for God has all the records stored in the courtroom of heaven, and the Holy Spirit bears witness when we believe the report. The report is that Christ died, was buried, and the third day rose again for our salvation. He that has the Son has eternal life and shall not come into condemnation. He that has not the Son is condemned already because he has not believed the witness of God which is greater. Jesus was crucified between two thieves, one on the right and the other on the left while one said if you be the Son of God, why don't you come down from this cross and save yourself; then the other said: Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus replied this day shall you be in Paradise with me. What a blessing it is to believe the report of the gospel which is the good news that we too will be absent from the body and present with the Lord when we die. Then in the first resurrection, we will receive a body just like Jesus. This is why today is Good Friday for in a day of bad news there is good news that Jesus Christ is our risen Lord & Savior when we believe the witness of God.
#And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and water, and the blood and these three agree in one. 1 John 5:8
Today is Maunday Thursday when Jesus washed the disciples' feet teaching us how we are to serve one another. There are three that bear witness on earth, just as there are three in heaven and the Spirit, and water, and the blood is three which agree in one. When Jesus was on the cross the soldier pierced His side and blood and water came out; this the Spirit of God testifies to that Jesus is the Son of God. He came to serve as a ransom for sinners and we too must serve one another. When we wash one another's feet, we show that the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood all agree in one. There is no better way for us to show the love of Jesus just as God the Father sent His only begotten Son to be the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world. Now we have the assurance that since Jesus rose from the dead, we too shall rise with Him. My best friend died 36 yrs. ago today on what by the world is known as April fool's Day, but death is no fool It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. I am sure that he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and is in the presence of Jesus. So do not joke around with others, instead share the gospel of Christ that others may place their faith in the Lord Jesus to be Saved.
#For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one. 1 John 5:7
Passion week is all because of the record in heaven, of the Father sending the Word, the logos to die on the cross for our sins, and the Holy Spirit raised the logos from the grave the third day. We would not have the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ without the trinity. I thank God for loving us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross. So share this good news with a lost world so they can have hope in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic and they too can have the blessed hope of the resurrection. Then have a foot washing service, just as Jesus did for the disciples before via de la rosa, the way of suffering. As the disciples were concerned about who would be the greatest, Jesus demonstrated that the greatest of all is the servant of all. Jesus was faithful to the Father and humbled Himself to the death of the cross. In the Garden of Gethsemane He said: Father if it is possible to let this cup pass from me, then the Father was silent, and the Lord Jesus said: nevertheless, not my will but thine be done. The Holy Spirit gave Him the strength to endure the cross, despising the shame, and now He is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
#This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth. 1 John 5:6
Jesus Christ is He that came by water and blood, not by water only but by water and blood. That is why John the Baptist said: Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is truth and He takes the things of Christ and makes them real to us. So as we celebrate passion week we look at the pathway Jesus took to go to the cross to purge us of our sin, by saying the Son of man did not come to be served, but to be the Ransome for all mankind. Now we too must serve and lay down our lives for our brethren. So in this pandemic look for ways to serve your brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering from isolation. We are not alone, for the Holy Spirit is our Paraclete who comes beside us and comforts us in our isolation. Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you, I am with you always even to the end of the world.
#Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5
We are seeing a rise in Satanic worship and cults so beware if anyone denies Jesus Christ as being the Son of God, then this is the spirit of anti-christ. If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God then you are a son of God by faith in Jesus Christ. This is our victory over this world even our faith. As we get closer to the coming of the Lord the mystery of iniquity will be at work in the children of disobedience. It is time to put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against all the wiles of the devil. Remember that bad communications corrupt good character, so pick your friends wisely and know what they believe. It is important not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. The apostle John warns little children to keep themselves from idols and we do this by not worshipping people. God is a jealous God and we must not provoke God to jealousy by having idols in our lives. Worship the Lord and Him only shall we serve.
