Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #The God of Abraham and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified His Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up and denied Him in the presence of Pontus Pilate when he was determined to let Him go. Acts 3:13

Thank the Lord for all the military members that are joining us today and if you sign up which is free, I will talk to you about our Bible study this morning. The God of our fathers the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob whom the Israelites rejected the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ whom Pontus Pilate was going to let free, instead let the murderer go free, healed this lame man who had faith in Him.  We as a nation need to repent of our national sins and return to the God of our fathers to faith in the Son so that we can be healed of this climate change that is destroying our world. If you will just believe in the Lord Jesus Christ your household will be saved. All it takes is childlike faith. Just say Lord be merciful to me a sinner and into your hands, I commend my spirit. Who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you have done this then I will be happy to welcome you into the household of faith. So just reach out to me and let everyone know that you have just accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior.

  • #And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man walk? Acts 3:12

This is the twentieth anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, when America was attacked and we will never forget! We thank God that it was not by our great power or holiness that we overcame this attack but it was by the grace of God that we have not been attacked again.  Just as Peter had to remind the men and women of Israel that it was not by our power or holiness that this lame man is walking. It is because of his great faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that this lame man got up and walked. Praising God for this great act of faith. We pray for all the families of the fallen on Sept. 11 and all the soldiers who died in the twenty-year war. Now is the time to move on as a nation with our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith. We must never forget that it is not by power, or might but by the Spirit of the Lord that we overcome this world. Now we must repent of our sins and turn to faith in Jesus Christ for the salvation of our souls. May God bless you to do that and if you want me to pray with you then text: 832-392-7729

  • #And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. Acts 3:11

All the people watched the lame man who was healed hold to Peter and John then ran to the porch that is called Solomon's greatly wondering. This verse tells us what extraordinary faith the lame man had and it affected everyone around him. This is the kind of faith that we should have in God that will cause all the people around us to wonder what must I do to be saved? That is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved. Many people are suffering today because they need this child-like faith. This reminds me of when the disciples were on the ocean in the storm wondering why Jesus could sleep then they said carest thou not that we perish? Then Jesus said peace be still. Then the disciples said what manner of man is this that even the seas obey Him. This is the same Jesus that healed the lame man, and He can heal you too if you will place your faith in Him for salvation.

  • #And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. Acts 3:10

All the people of Israel were in amazement at the lame man who was healed at the Beautiful Gate in the temple and with wonder at all that which happened unto him. I pray for all those in the Military who are in need of healing now that America's longest war is over to have faith in God just as this lame man did and was healed. What a Beautiful Gate we have in Jesus Christ as He is our Jehovah Rapha who heals us from all of our deceased and cleanses us of all of our iniquities. By His stripes, we are healed since He was wounded for all of our transgressions and the chastisement of our peace is upon Him.

  • #And all the people saw him walking and praising God: Acts 3:9

Now all the people saw the lame man walking and praising God and they were amazed at his faith. This lame man had the faith in God to be healed and that is why he is walking as well as praising the Lord. It is time that we learn from this man's faith experience in this coronavirus pandemic that we are in and starts to believe God is going to see us through this pandemic.

  • #And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:8

What a blessing to receive your healing by the Lord at the hands of the disciples' Peter and John. Now the lame man is leaping, standing, walking in the temple praising God for His goodness in the land of the living. We too should be praising God for His goodness and wonderful works to us, for not allowing sickness or lameness to overcome us. We are more than conquers through Him that loves us and by His stripes we are healed. I pray for those in the military suffering from PTSD to receive their healing by faith and that the Lord will give them the victory over their battles in the mind. For the mind is the Lord's and He alone can give us the victory over those voices of the enemy trying to discourage us. Let God take all of your cares, for He cares for you and will see you through just like He saw the lame man through his illness. Just praise God and enter the temple with the saints of God giving Him all the glory for this amazing story.

  • #And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:7

Peter and John told the lame man what to do and by faith, he received Jesus Christ of Nazareth into his heart. Then immediately his ankle bones received strength and he walked praising God in the temple. The Lord Jesus Christ did for him what all the silver and gold in the world could not do for him. The Word of God is powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword piercing the joint and the marrow. I pray that those of you in need of healing would call out to the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and He will save you unto the uttermost that believes, just like He saved the lame man from birth. What a mighty God we serve who is able to forgive all our transgressions and heal us from our deceased. Just have faith in God and all things are possible to those who believe.

  • #And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none but such as I have to give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:5,6

The lame man gave heed unto Peter and John expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none but such as I have to give I to thee: What he needed was salvation which comes in the name of the Lord. Thus he said: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. It took faith for the lame man to receive his blessing, and he acted upon it. By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth he rose up and walked. This was something he had never done since his birth and this tells us that he that comes to God must believe that He is and a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him. I thank God that by faith we are saved when we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and by His stripes, we are healed. So if you are looking for a blessing this morning have faith in God for all things are possible to those who believe in Him.

  •  #Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John said, Look on us. Acts 3:3,4

Peter is concerned along with John that the lame man would look upon them, and not just to ask for alms. They knew that he needed Jesus Christ of Nazareth to heal him. It is important that we direct people to the Lord Jesus, as Paul said follow me as I follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We are only the vessels to lead men and women to the Savior. Please continue to pray for all the families that lost loved ones in Hurrican Ida, and are without power. Truly many signs of the last days are upon us, as climate change is causing massive flooding on the East coast, and fires on the West coast. It is time that mankind starts to invest in carbon neutrality to reduce the greenhouse gases that are causing all these weather extremes. It is time to stop being a climate change denier as global warming has certainly gotten worse in this century in connection to fossil fuels. We too need to look and listen to the scientist as God has sent them to warn us to repent before it is too late. The Earth is dealing and rocking and rolling in fossil fuels and it is time to invest in clean energy. May we use our alms to invest in planting trees and reducing our carbon footprint on the Earth.

  •  #And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. Acts 3:2

This was the condition of the lame man who was born that way from his mother's womb and the people daily laid him at the temple gate called Beautiful asking for alms. The disciples Peter and John entered the temple and immediately Peter told him to look at them, for they would be the vessel through which the blessing would come. We too need to look to the Lord with faith to receive a blessing for by His stripes we are healed and without faith, it is impossible to please God. This is similar to the man that was born blind from his mother's womb in John 9 that the disciples say did this man sin or his parents. Jesus said neither but that the glory of God should be seen. Peter and John are the instruments through which God would show His glory. So we must worship the Lord and not the disciples for having the gifts of healing as apostles.
