Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand before you whole. Acts 4:10

Peter tells the Sanhedrin, and all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God hath raised from the dead, even by Him does this lame man stand before you whole. It is by grace that we are saved through faith, not of works lest any man should boast. We must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit as the apostles have done in standing up for our faith, for if God be for us who can be against us? Therefore, let us walk through this world boldly believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and not doubt what God is going to do through us.

  • #And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? Acts 4:7

The Religious leaders asked Peter and John by what power, or by what name have ye done this? What a question for the apostles to opine on and only the Holy Spirit can give them the power to answer this most profound question. We too can learn a lot from the disciples' response to being set in prison for preaching the gospel, for in a Democracy freedom of Speech is a cherished right that allows us to proclaim the good news of death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet we are seeing big Tech companies try to muzzle us from using these rights exclusively and we must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to help us to beat the canceled culture that we find ourselves in today. May we have the boldness to stand up and say that we can't help but speak these words by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is my prayer that as we get closer to the Day of the Lord, that we will trust God to continue to open doors for us to change this culture.

  • #And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers and elders, and scribes, and Annas the high priest and Caiaphas, and John and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. Acts 4:5,6

The religious leaders were gathered together to question the apostles for their faith and they are reminded by the Lord Jesus Christ that the Holy Spirit will give them the wisdom to withstand the gainsayers. We too have that same promise of the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom how to answer those who ask us of the hope that is within us. We must be cold and tanacious to testify about our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For we are His witnesses for the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. May God bless all those who are suffering for their faith for in this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer Jesus has overcome this world.

  • #And they laid hands on them and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide. Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed and the number of the men was about five thousand. Acts 4:3,4

The Sadducees, the priests, and captain of the temple laid hands on them then put them in jail because many who heard the word believed to the number of about five thousand. These disciples were turning the world upside down for Jesus. What a testimony and we have the Internet, Television, and the media to use today to reach many for Jesus Christ. Yet we are not doing as much with what we have been given as these twelve men had and we need to cry out to God for a revival to break out. The world is full of crime, police officers are dying trying to keep a lid on crime. It is time that we as the salt of the earth start to seasoning the meat of the gospel so that many souls will turn their eyes on Jesus. Our prayers are with the families of the fallen police officers all over the country as these are perilous times that we are living in. Jesus said if I am lifted up, I will draw all men to me.

  • #And as they spake unto the people, the priests and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Acts 4:1,2

Peter and John had come into conflict with the priests and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees because they preached the resurrection from the dead. The Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection and the priest, as well as the captain of the temple, were plotting what to do with them because the people were believing them. As we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, let us remember the blessing that comes from the Sukkot as we are pilgrims as well as strangers in this world, and all those nations that refuse to celebrate the feasts will have drought as well as destruction. Let us consider Peter and John they were unlearned as well as ignorant. Yet they had been with Jesus and they could not help but speak what they had seen as well as heard. We are the beneficiaries of their testimony and we too must obey God when the law of man conflicts with our testimony. I thank God that Jesus is coming soon to bring the Kingdom of God upon the earth for everlasting peace. Let us seek those things that bring peace and walk in holiness, for without holiness no man will see the Lord.

  • #Ye are the children of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Acts 3:25

Peter reminds the Israelites that they are the children of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our fathers saying unto Abraham. Gen. 12:3, 22:18 It is because of this that they are the chosen people whom God will reveal His Son, and they are going to be the vehicle that God will bless thy seed through all the kindreds of the earth. Thank God for this covenant for all those that bless Israel shall be blessed and those that curse Israel shall be cursed. It is therefore unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. So rejoice in the Lord that salvation is of the Jews for the Savior of the world has come through them. We must walk in love toward all the Israelites and condemn all anti-semitism in the world.

  • #Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Acts 3:24

Samuel is famous for saying speak Lord for thy servant listens and all the prophets have spoken about the Messiah. We must listen as we approach the Holy Days of the Feast of Tabernacles which the Jews observe in late September 20 for seven days. As Zach. 14:16 Tells us that in the kingdom of God all the nations will observe this feast and those nations that do not go to Jerusalem to observe this feast a plague and a drought shall be upon them. This is very prophetic and as we are seeing a worldwide plague of the coronavirus pandemic. It is time that the Christian church starts to observe these feasts so that the Messiah will have mercy on us all. Sukkot is the celebration symbolizing that the nation Israel when liberated from Egypt lived in booths on the earth. For we are pilgrims and strangers in this world. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then all these things will be added to you.

  • #For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; He shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you. Acts 3:22

Peter tells the people of Israel what the prophets said about the Lord Jesus Christ, through Moses that the Messiah would come from their brethren, and all who will not hear him will be destroyed. Jesus fulfilled this prophesy as He is the prophet, priest, and King.

  • #And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:20,21

God the Father sent Jesus Christ the Son, which was preached unto you, whom the heaven received until the times of restitution of all things, which was the apostolic age and the Church consisting of Jews and Gentiles, which was spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. We are living in the Church Age of Grace and it will end in the rapture of the Church. Then the 70th week of years of Daniel's prophecy shall come to pass with the tribulation, then after seven years, the Millennial Kingdom shall come to pass. The devil will be locked up in the abyss falling for one thousand years, then he will be loosed for a short season to deceive the nations again. God will cause fire to come down from heaven to destroy all the rebellious ones. Then the final Judgment of the Great White Throne where whose name that is not found in the book of life shall be cast into the lake of Fire. This is the restitution that will take place and God will create a new heaven and earth and the New Jerusalem shall come down to earth. We will live there forever enjoying the kingdom of God forever.

  • #Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19

Peter tells the Israelites to repent and be converted that your sins may be blotted out by the blood of Jesus, the Messiah so that a time of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord when He comes to make restitution of all things. The heavens have received the Savior but He is coming again to take vengeance on those who obey not this gospel. For the Jews shall be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles shall come to an end. Now is the day of Salvation when you hear His voice hearken and turn from your sins so they may be blotted out. This time of refreshing will come when the Lord Jesus Christ sets up His kingdom in Jerusalem. We will be celebrating the most Holy Day at sundown: Yom Kippur which is a time to make restitution for the sins that you have committed by doing good deeds. Just like Zacchaeus did when he said if I have defrauded any man I will restore sevenfold. Then Jesus said behold salvation has come to your house.
