Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. Acts 3:11

All the people watched the lame man who was healed hold to Peter and John then ran to the porch that is called Solomon's greatly wondering. This verse tells us what extraordinary faith the lame man had and it affected everyone around him. This is the kind of faith that we should have in God that will cause all the people around us to wonder what must I do to be saved? That is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved. Many people are suffering today because they need this child-like faith. This reminds me of when the disciples were on the ocean in the storm wondering why Jesus could sleep then they said carest thou not that we perish? Then Jesus said peace be still. Then the disciples said what manner of man is this that even the seas obey Him. This is the same Jesus that healed the lame man, and He can heal you too if you will place your faith in Him for salvation.

  • #And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. Acts 3:10

All the people of Israel were in amazement at the lame man who was healed at the Beautiful Gate in the temple and with wonder at all that which happened unto him. I pray for all those in the Military who are in need of healing now that America's longest war is over to have faith in God just as this lame man did and was healed. What a Beautiful Gate we have in Jesus Christ as He is our Jehovah Rapha who heals us from all of our deceased and cleanses us of all of our iniquities. By His stripes, we are healed since He was wounded for all of our transgressions and the chastisement of our peace is upon Him.

  • #And all the people saw him walking and praising God: Acts 3:9

Now all the people saw the lame man walking and praising God and they were amazed at his faith. This lame man had the faith in God to be healed and that is why he is walking as well as praising the Lord. It is time that we learn from this man's faith experience in this coronavirus pandemic that we are in and starts to believe God is going to see us through this pandemic.

  • #And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:8

What a blessing to receive your healing by the Lord at the hands of the disciples' Peter and John. Now the lame man is leaping, standing, walking in the temple praising God for His goodness in the land of the living. We too should be praising God for His goodness and wonderful works to us, for not allowing sickness or lameness to overcome us. We are more than conquers through Him that loves us and by His stripes we are healed. I pray for those in the military suffering from PTSD to receive their healing by faith and that the Lord will give them the victory over their battles in the mind. For the mind is the Lord's and He alone can give us the victory over those voices of the enemy trying to discourage us. Let God take all of your cares, for He cares for you and will see you through just like He saw the lame man through his illness. Just praise God and enter the temple with the saints of God giving Him all the glory for this amazing story.

  • #And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:7

Peter and John told the lame man what to do and by faith, he received Jesus Christ of Nazareth into his heart. Then immediately his ankle bones received strength and he walked praising God in the temple. The Lord Jesus Christ did for him what all the silver and gold in the world could not do for him. The Word of God is powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword piercing the joint and the marrow. I pray that those of you in need of healing would call out to the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and He will save you unto the uttermost that believes, just like He saved the lame man from birth. What a mighty God we serve who is able to forgive all our transgressions and heal us from our deceased. Just have faith in God and all things are possible to those who believe.

  • #And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none but such as I have to give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:5,6

The lame man gave heed unto Peter and John expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none but such as I have to give I to thee: What he needed was salvation which comes in the name of the Lord. Thus he said: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. It took faith for the lame man to receive his blessing, and he acted upon it. By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth he rose up and walked. This was something he had never done since his birth and this tells us that he that comes to God must believe that He is and a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him. I thank God that by faith we are saved when we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and by His stripes, we are healed. So if you are looking for a blessing this morning have faith in God for all things are possible to those who believe in Him.

  •  #Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John said, Look on us. Acts 3:3,4

Peter is concerned along with John that the lame man would look upon them, and not just to ask for alms. They knew that he needed Jesus Christ of Nazareth to heal him. It is important that we direct people to the Lord Jesus, as Paul said follow me as I follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We are only the vessels to lead men and women to the Savior. Please continue to pray for all the families that lost loved ones in Hurrican Ida, and are without power. Truly many signs of the last days are upon us, as climate change is causing massive flooding on the East coast, and fires on the West coast. It is time that mankind starts to invest in carbon neutrality to reduce the greenhouse gases that are causing all these weather extremes. It is time to stop being a climate change denier as global warming has certainly gotten worse in this century in connection to fossil fuels. We too need to look and listen to the scientist as God has sent them to warn us to repent before it is too late. The Earth is dealing and rocking and rolling in fossil fuels and it is time to invest in clean energy. May we use our alms to invest in planting trees and reducing our carbon footprint on the Earth.

  •  #And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. Acts 3:2

This was the condition of the lame man who was born that way from his mother's womb and the people daily laid him at the temple gate called Beautiful asking for alms. The disciples Peter and John entered the temple and immediately Peter told him to look at them, for they would be the vessel through which the blessing would come. We too need to look to the Lord with faith to receive a blessing for by His stripes we are healed and without faith, it is impossible to please God. This is similar to the man that was born blind from his mother's womb in John 9 that the disciples say did this man sin or his parents. Jesus said neither but that the glory of God should be seen. Peter and John are the instruments through which God would show His glory. So we must worship the Lord and not the disciples for having the gifts of healing as apostles.

  • #Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. Acts 3:1

The Jews were still steeped into Judaism and 3:00pm was the hour of prayer, So Peter and John were observing this while entering the temple gate called beautiful. The providence of God would have a lame man asking for arms at the temple gate of beautiful. We can learn much from this for how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the gospel of peace and the lame man did not just need arms and healing, he needed to know Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom they had crucified. It is interesting that the disciples would say unto him silver and gold have we not. Today we that preach the gospel have much silver and gold, but it is not the silver and gold that saves people, it is Jesus Christ. We must pray as Peter and John did for us to know how to share this precious pearl that has been given unto us so that many souls can be added into the kingdom. It is my prayer that in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic that you too will ask to see Jesus the author and finisher of our salvation. It is Jesus the one who by His stripes we are healed is able to cleanse us of our sins and give unto us eternal life, that which silver and gold cannot buy.

  • #And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:46,47

This is the epidemy of Koinonia when they were in one accord in the temple breaking bread from house to house, eating their meat with gladness and singleness of heart. Praising God and having favor with all the people. We had a house-to-house Bible Study and we too ate bread with singleness of heart, and God added to the church daily such as should be saved. Jesus said I must be about my Father's business and we too must be about our Heavenly Father's business seeking those who are lost. There is a lot of suffering going on out there with climate change and the resulting hurricanes, and wildfires. We need to reduce the carbon footprint in the environment by planting trees and going green energy with a reduction in fossil fuels. It is time to hold the politicians' feet to the fire when it comes to climate change. We are stewards of the earth and just as God placed Adam into the Garden of Eden and told him to care for it. Well, we know the story Adam sinned and now the curse of sin is on the environment. We pray that Jesus will come soon and save us from this curse of sin upon the environment and usher in the Kingdom of God.
