Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: II Thessalonians 2:8

The Greek word for wicked is Anomos which means lawless, or without law. From an (as a negative particle) and Nomos; lawless, i.e. (negatively) not subject to (the Jewish) law (by implication, a Gentile) or (positively) wicked a transgressor and unlawful. Departing from the law, a violator of the law. So this Antichrist shall be a Gentile not subject to the Jewish law a transgressor and by the time he is revealed he will deceive many who did not receive the love of the truth. Then he will be destroyed by the Lord Jesus in the spirit of His mouth at the brightness of His coming. Revelations 19:15,16 And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations and He shall rule them with a rod of iron and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name is written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

  • #For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until He is taken out of the way II Thessalonians 2:7

The Greek word for iniquity is Anomia which means lawlessness. From Anomoa; illegality, i.e. Violation of law (genitive case) wickedness, and unrighteousness. Paul is telling us that lawlessness will mysteriously get worse, but the Holy Spirit will let it go until He is taken out of the way. Then it will be total lawlessness on the earth. This Artificial Intelligence is a mystery that it can be used for good and evil at the same time. We thank God for the work of the Holy Spirit here on the earth as He is protecting us from the totality of the wickedness of all these evil devices in the world. So if you are talking to a computer In AI then beware of some of the harmful effects that can happen. Read your Bible more and pray to God the Father, through Jesus Christ our Mediator to help us overcome the loneliness of living in this world with the mystery of wickedness going on. Then you can expect deliverance from all of this evil around us. Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. There is therefore no condemnation for those who walk in the Spirit and not in the Flesh. God will not remember our former sins, for they are all covered by the Blood of Jesus. He hides them in the depths of the ocean and no fishing is allowed.

  • #And now ye know what withholdeth that He might be revealed in his time. II Thessalonians 2:6

The Greek word for withholdeth is Katecho which means to hold fast or hold back. From Kata; to hold down (fast), in various applications (literally or figuratively), to possess, retain, seize on, and take hold of. This is the power of the Holy Spirit as He is holding down the Antichrist from coming until the fullness of time by God the Father. We can thank God that the Holy Spirit is doing that so that we can complete the work of getting the gospel to the ends of the earth. It is possible that the Antichrist is in the world today, but the Holy Spirit will not let him be revealed until the translation of the Church.  Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

  • #Remember ye not, that when I was with you, I told you these things? II Thessalonians 2:5

The Greek word for remember is Mnemoneuo which means to call to mind, or to make mention of from a derivative of Mneme; to exercise memory, i.e. recollect;  by implication, rehearse. Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife. Jesus told us this to cause us to remember that Lot's wife failed to remember what the angels told them not to look back, and she then turned into a pillow of salt. So Paul tells the Thessalonians to remember what he told them about the day the Lord shall come as a thief in the night. Jesus told us to be ye also ready for in such a time as we would think not the Son of Man will come.

  • #Who opposeth and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. II Thessalonians 2:4

The Greek word for opposeth is Antikeimai which means to lie opposite, i.e. Be adverse (figuratively, repugnant) to be an adversary see Sophocles' Lexicon. Paul is telling us that this Antichrist will be like Cain who opposed God yet he will exalt himself in the temple deceiving others that he is a god. Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Core. This is what will happen to the Antichrist who will perish in the brightness of the coming of the Lord Jesus. Do not receive the mark of the Beast 666 is the number of men and all that receive this number will perish in the Lake of Fire. Christians hate this number and it is the sign of Satan and we that love the Lord Jesus Christ will worship only the Lord Jesus and will be saved from these pernicious ways of the Antichrist.

  • #Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there comes a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; II Thessalonians 2:3

The Greek word for perdition is Apoleia which means destruction and loss. From a presumed derivative of Apollumi; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual, or eternal) damnable pernicious ways, and waste. II Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. This is exactly what Paul is saying to the Thessalonians that many will be led astray to leave the church because of the pernicious ways of the son of perdition, who is the Antichrist. It is so important to believe the truth, for the truth will set you free from the great lie of the devil. That man of sin will deceive many with his lies and cause many who did not receive the love of the truth to perish. It is my prayer that you will study the word of God and rightly divide it,  so that you will be caught up in the translation of the Church when Jesus comes to call His children home. We will be saved from the great lie because we received the truth and the truth will set us free.

  • #That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that day of Christ is at hand. II Thessalonians 2:2

The Greek word for shaken is Saleuo which means to agitate and to cast down. From Salos; to waver, i.e. Agitate, rock, and topple or (by implication) destroy; figuratively, to disturb, incite (together) to stir up in the aorist passive, present participle. Matt. 11:7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out in the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? This is the same context Paul uses in the Thessalonians that Jesus used for John the Baptist who was the forerunner of the Messiah. John wanted Jesus to bring in the Kingdom of God, but it was not time for Jesus needed to suffer as the Lamb of God that taketh away the world's sins. So therefore we must not be shaken at the coming of the day of the Lord by word, letter, or spirit

  • #Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto Him. II Thessalonians 2:1

The Greek word for gathering is Episynagoge which is an assembly together. From Episunago; a complete collection; especially a Christian meeting (for worship) assembled together. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much more, as ye see the day approaching. Paul is speaking of the assembly of Christians in the clouds when Jesus comes in the air to call all His children home. Therefore we must not forsake the assembling of ourselves together as is the manner of some, but provoking one another to love and good works as we see the Day of Christ approaching. It does not mean that we have to go to Church every Sunday, but we must not forsake the gathering together of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. For before the coming of the Lord, there will be a great apostasy which is a falling away of some to stop worshipping the Lord.

  • #That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 1:12

The Greek word for name is Onoma which means surnamed or called. From a presumed derivative of the base of Ginosko (authority, character) called. The name by which a person or a thing is called, and distinguished from others. Phil. 2:10 That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; So this Ginosko speaks of the Almighty God Jehovah Nissi. He must be glorified in us for one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord to the glory of God. It is best to bow today, for on that day, you will not be saved when you bow. So let us exalt His name today and every day for there is no other name given unto man by which we can be saved. Therefore stop using the Lord's name in vain and give Him the glory that belongs to Him.

  • #Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith by power. II Thessalonians 1:11

The Greek word for pleasure is Eudokia which means delight from a presumed compound of EU and the base of Dokeo; satisfaction, i.e. (subjectively) delight and kindness. Ephesians 1:9 Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself: Thank God that He will see us through from justification, sanctification, and then glorification according to His good will and joy which He has purposed for us. So no matter what we are suffering God is using these trials to make us like Jesus. So just praise Him and give thanks for He is worthy of all the glory.
