A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And He said unto them, go ye and tell that fox, behold I cast out devils and I do cures, today and tomorrow and the third day I shall be perfected. Nevertheless, I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following for it cannot be that a prophet perishes out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed, is He that comes in the name of the Lord. Luke 13:32-35
#Then He said, unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and cast into his garden and it grew and waxed a great tree and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. And again He said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like Leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. Luke 13:18-21
#There were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay, but except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay, but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:1-5
#But he that knew not and did commit things worthy of stripes shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required and of whom men have committed much of him they will ask the more. I am come to send fire on the earth and what will I, if it already be kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with and how am I straitened till it is accomplished! Luke 12:48-50
#And one of the company said unto Him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me, And He said unto him, Man who made me a judge or a divider over you? And He said unto them, Take heed and beware of covetousness for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And He spake a parable unto them, saying the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully and he thought within himself, saying what shall I do because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, this will I do: I will pull down my barns and build greater and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, soul thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:13-21
#In the mean-time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people insomuch that they trode one upon another, He began to say unto His disciples first of all, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in light and that ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. And I say unto you my friends be not afraid of them that kill the body and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you Fear him. Luke 12:1-5
#From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation. Woe unto you lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves and them that were entering in ye hindered. Luke 11:51,52
#And it came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And He said unto them, when ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in heaven, so on earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Luke 11:1-4
#Now it came to pass, as they went, that He entered into a certain village and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which sat at Jesus's feet and heard His word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving and came to Him and said, Lord, do thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me, And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: but one thing is needful and Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:38-42
#But he willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, and who is my neighbor? And Jesus answering said, a certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment and wounded him and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise, a Levite, when he was at that place came and looked on him and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan as he journeyed, came where he was and when he saw him had compassion on him, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine and set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence and gave them to the host and said unto him, take care of him and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of this three thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among thieves? And he said he that showed mercy on him, then said Jesus unto him, Go and do thou likewise. Luke 10:29-37
Jesus is telling the story of the Good Samaritan as he only showed mercy and compassion on the man who fell among thieves. The priest passed him by, perhaps worried about being late for service and the Levite passed him by, perhaps worried about what the law would say if he touched an unclean man. But the Samaritan did not consider anything but jumped into action bound up the man's wounds pouring wine on them. What love, then placing him on his animal. This is true love for it did not discriminate but meditated then moved into action. This is what we have to do to solve the racial problems in this country do not mind what other people say but to make change by loving no matter who is my neighbor. Do not get angry if the wrong color person moves into the neighborhood just show kindness. Also, show kindness to the immigrant by providing a job so he can take care of his family. This is what Jesus wants us to do when He said to do likewise.
