Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #I will praise thee O Lord, with my whole heart: I will show forth all thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name forever and ever. O thou enemy, destructions have come to a perpetual end and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial has perished in them. But the Lord shall endure forever: He hath prepared His throne for judgment. Psalm 9:1-7

The Lord is worthy of all my praise, for I will be glad in thee and rejoice, I will sing praise to thy name Most High. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. The Lord sits on the throne judging righteously. My enemies do not stand a chance to defeat me cause their memorial has perished in them. Yet the Lord shall endure forever for He has prepared His throne for judgment.

  • #O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings, hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon, and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is a man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea and the beast of the field; the fowl of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Psalm 8:1-9

O Lord our Lord how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. For out of the mouths of babes and sucklings, thou hast ordained praise and strength because of thy enemies, to still the hand of the avenger. Thank you for making a man a little lower than the angels and crowned him with glory and honor. I will praise thee for we are fearfully and wonderfully made, for even the beast of the field and the fowl of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas is subject to him. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth and I will praise Thee forever.

  • #The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to mine integrity that is in me. Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and the reins. My defense is of God which saveth the upright of heart. God judges the righteous and is angry with the wicked every day. If he turns not He will whet His sword: He had bent His bow and made it ready. He had also prepared for him the instruments of death; He ordaineth His arrows against the persecutors.  Behold, he travaileth with iniquity and hath conceived mischief and brought forth falsehood. He made a pit and dug it and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. Psalm 7:8-17

The Lord will judge the righteous and the wickedness of the wicked shall come to an end. For God trieth the hearts and the reins. Therefore is my defense of God who saves the upright of heart. Search me O God and know my heart, see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. I will praise thee forever and sing to the name of the Lord most high. Be exalted O God in all the heavens.

  • #O Lord my God, in thee, do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me and deliver me: lest he tears my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. O Lord my God, if I have done this: if there be iniquity in my hands; if I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me( yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) let the enemy persecute my soul and take it: yea let him tread down my life upon the earth and lay my honor in the dust. Selah. Arise, O Lord, in thine anger lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about for their sakes, therefore, return thou on high. Psalms 7:1-7

David is concerned that God he will judge him if he has caused evil upon the one that was at peace with him. If I have rewarded evil let the enemy persecute my soul and take it, yea let him take my life and honor to the dust. This tells us what a man of integrity David was that he wanted God to judge him if there was iniquity in his heart. We too must be careful to have short accounts with God, for though He is high He looks low upon the godly to render unto him according as his works may be.

  • #O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord for I am weak: O Lord heal me for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou O Lord, how long? Return, O Lord, deliver my soul oh save me for thy mercies sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? I am weary with my groaning. All the night make I my bed to swim: I water my couch with my tears. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all my enemies. Depart from me all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord had heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord had heard my supplication. the Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and sore vexed. Let them return and be ashamed suddenly.  Psalm 6:1-10

The Lord has heard the prayer of David and will not chasten him in his hot displeasure. The Lord will heal David, for in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? David wept all night and made his bed swim in his tears. The Lord heard his supplication. The Lord is a stronghold in the day of trouble and He knows those who trust in Him.

  • #But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of thy enemies; make my way straight before thy face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue. Destroy though them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou Lord will bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalm 5:7-12

For thou Lord will bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as a shield. O Lord my God how majestic thy name. Forever will I praise the, but let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice. Let them ever shout for joy. For the joy of the Lord is my strength.

  • #Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King and my God for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee and will look up. For thou, art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: for thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. Psalm 5:1-6

    • David cries early in the morning to the Lord, my King and my God for unto thee will I pray. I will direct my prayer unto thee when I look up. For God is not a God who has pleasure in wickedness, neither shall evil dwell with thee. God shall destroy all those who speak lies and the Lord hates the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
  • #Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for Himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto Him. Stand in awe and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord. There be many that say, who will show us any good? Lord lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace and sleep; for thou, Lord only makest me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:1-8

    • God only hath set apart him that is godly for Himself. Therefore the Lord will hear when I call unto Him. I will stand in awe of Him and sin not with my lips but will commune with my heart upon my bed. Now I will both lay me down in peace and sleep; for thou Lord only makest me to dwell in safety. I will not fear what man can do unto me, for the Lord is a stronghold in the day of trouble and He knows those who trust in Him.
  • #Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, there is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awoke; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. Psalm 3:1-8

    • The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. No matter how many people come against me, I will not be afraid, for thou O Lord art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter up of mine head. I laid me down and slept while the Lord watched over me and woke me up to see another day. O Lord save me thank you Lord for smitting my enemies on the cheekbone, thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly, now they need a dentist to repair their mouth. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Lord Almighty.
  • #I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with the rod of iron; thou shalt dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now, therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. Psalm 2:7-12

    • It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and ye perish from the way when His wrath is kindled but a little while. Judus Iscariot thought he could kiss Jesus and get away with it, but Jesus said woe unto him by whom the Son of man is betrayed. God knows the heart of every man and thus be sure you kiss the Son out of a loving and obedient heart. For Jesus is getting us ready for that great day and who shall be able to stand? Only those with clean hands who have not lifted up their eyes to an idol.
