A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

David waited patiently for Jehovah and He inclined unto him and heard his cry. We can have the same response from the Lord. Many O Jehovah is thy wonderful works which thou hast done toward us-ward and thy thought they cannot be numbered. O praise Him today for He alone is worthy of all our praises.

The Psalmist is concerned about the value of life and how fleeting it is. Behold thou hast made my days as a handbreadth and mine age is as nothing before thee: every man at his best state is vanity. Selah. He heapeth up riches and knoweth not who shall gather them. Help me to know my end and how frail I am. Let me keep my tongue from evil in the presence of the wicked. For thou art, my God and I will trust in thee at all times.
#For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O LORD my God. For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise, they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me. Jehovah God is my helper and my shield when my foot slippeth. I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. But my enemies are lively and they are strong and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. O thou great Jehovah, be not far from me. Make haste to help me. O Jehovah my salvation.

#O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. For thine, arrows stick fast in me and thy hand presseth me sore. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger: neither is there rest in my bones because of my sin. For mine iniquities have gone over my head: as a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease and there is no soundness in my flesh. Psalm 38: 1-7
David cries out to Jehovah God to not rebuke him in thy wrath: neither to chasten him in thy hot displeasure. For in another passage he said I will fall on the mercy of God than be handed over to man. Truly the mercy of the Lord is everlasting and endures unto all generations.
#I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away and lo, he was not yea I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them because they trust in him. Psalm 37:35-40
Jehovah shall cut off the wicked as the green bay tree in great power spreading himself. So mark the perfect man and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. For the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah. He is their strength in the time of trouble. It is God who delivers us from the wicked because they trust in Him.
#The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell therein forever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart: none of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous and seeketh to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the LORD and keep his way and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. Psalm 37:29-34
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom and his tongue talks of judgment. The law of Jehovah is in his heart and none of his steps shall slide. This is why the wicked seek to slay the righteous but Jehovah will not leave him in his hand nor condemn him when he is judged. So wait on Jehovah and keep His way and He shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off thou shalt see it. Therefore be not envious of the wicked.
#For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD and He delighted in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young and now old: yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful and lendeth and his seed are blessed. Depart from evil and do good and dwell for evermore. For the LORD loveth judgment and forsaketh, not his saints; they are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. Psalm 37:22-28
Jehovah God has ordered the steps of a good man and He delights in his way, though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down. So do not be surprised for the scripture also says though a righteous man falls seven times, he will always get up. Just pray for people and God will reward you.
#Their sword shall enter into their own heart and their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. The wicked borroweth and payeth not again, but the righteous showeth mercy and giveth. Psalm 37:15-21
Jehovah knows the days of the upright and their inheritance shall last forever. Hope in the Lord and you will not be ashamed in the evil time. The wicked borrow and do not repay but the righteous shows mercy and gives.
