Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy thou me for thy goodness sake, O LORD. Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will He teach sinners in the way. The meek will He guide in judgment and the meek will He teach in His way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. For thy name's sake O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. What man is he that feareth the LORD? he shall He teach in the way that He shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease and his seed shall inherit the earth. Psalm 25:7-13

David cries out to Jehovah God not to remember the sins of his youth and to remember mercy and truth for his goodness sake. Thank God that He pardons all our iniquity, for it is great. The meek will Jehovah guide in judgment and teach His way that He shall choose. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway. Thank God that the footsteps of a just man are ordered by the Lord and though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast out.

  • #Unto thee, O LORD do I lift up my soul. O my God I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Show me thy ways, O LORD teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy loving kindnesses: for they have been ever of old. Psalm 25:1-6

Unto thee O great Jehovah do I put my trust, let me not be ashamed for waiting on thee. Teach me thy paths and lead me in thy truth for thou art my salvation. Remember thy tender mercies and all thy loving-kindnesses toward me. For thou art a God of justice and mercy,

  • #This is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads O ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates even lift them up ye everlasting doors and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. Psalm 24:6-10

Give Jehovah God all the glory for He is this king of glory that shall come in. Praise Him today and forever more for He alone is worthy of all our praises.

  • #The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof: the world and they that dwell therein. For He hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods. Who can ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:1-5

Next time you wonder who owns it all, remember this verse the whole earth belongs to Jehovah God. Then think who can ascend into the hill of Jehovah he that hath clean hands and has not sworn deceitfully. He, it is that shall receive the blessing from Jehovah God and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

  • #( A Psalm of David. ) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:1-6

David penned the words to this Psalm at a difficult time in his life when he found out how Jehovah God provided for all of his needs. God lead him beside the still waters. When he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, he feared no evil. That is because death is a shadow to the child of God, it may scare us, but it cannot harm us. Then David saw that surely goodness and mercy followed him all the days of his life and that he would dwell in the house of Jehovah God forever.

  • #For the kingdom is the LORD's and He is governor among the nations. All they that be fat upon the earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before Him and none can keep alive his own soul. A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. They shall come and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done this. Psalm 22:28-31

Jehovah God shall be governor among the nations and all they that be fat upon the earth shall eat and worship: all that go down to the dust shall bow before Him. A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the Lord Jesus Christ for a generation. A generation not yet born will have His righteousness declared unto them. O come and praise the Lord with me.

  • #For He hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath He hid His face from him; but when he cried unto Him He heard. My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay the vows before them that fear Him.The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek Him: your heart shall live forever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD a4nd all kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. Psalm 22:24-27

David cries out the meek shall eat and be satisfied. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to Jehovah God. All kindreds of the nations shall worship before Him because of what Jesus did for us upon the cross. For the kingdom is the LORD's and He is the governor among the nations.

  • #For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell my bones they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture. But be not far from me. O LORD: O my strength, haste to help me. Psalm 22:16-19

The religious leaders are referred to as dogs by the Lord Jesus Christ and they took His garments and cast lots in fulfillment of scripture. We know the Word of God is true cause He told us all these things would happen and they did just as He said. The Father will help the Son, on the third day He will rise from the dead.

  • #But I am a worm and no man; a reproach of men and despised by people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip they shake the head, saying He trusted on the LORD that He would deliver Him, seeing that He delighted in Him. Psalm 22:6,7,8

The Lord Jesus Christ is on the cross and they are shooting the lip at him and saying He saved others, let him come down from that cross and save himself. Thank God that Jesus endured those harsh words for us, for He would not come down from the cross cause He loved us so much,

  • #My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me and from the words of my roaring? O, my God, I cry in the daytime but thou hearest not and in the night season and am not silent. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in thee; they trusted and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee and were delivered: they trusted in thee and were not confounded. Psalm 22:1-5

The Lord Jesus Christ cried out on the cross: My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? We know that the Holy God could not look upon sin so it was at that moment when all the sins of the world were placed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that God turned His back on the Son. For the Son had always been one with the Father, but this time He was all alone so that He could save us. What love, this is why this Psalm is about the Lord Jesus Christ and His suffering on the cross for you and for me.
