Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them and the heart, is deep. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. And all men shall fear and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of doing. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD and shall trust in Him and all the upright in heart shall glory. Psalm 64:6-10

Jehovah God shall shoot an arrow at the wicked; suddenly shall they be wounded and all shall see them then flee away. The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah and shall trust in Him and the upright in heart shall glory. Thank God as we prepare to close out the year praising God for His goodness and faithfulness to the children of men. So many close calls yet the Lord has been faithful in watching over us and how we need to praise Him for His goodness, as well as His mercy to the children of men. As Simeon was able to see the Christ Child before his eyes would see death. Let us rejoice that Jesus has promised never to leave us or to forsake us but shall be with us until the end of the age. The mercy of the Lord is to all generations and we shall rejoice in God at all times cause His mercy is new every morning.

  • #Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: Who whet their tongue like a sword and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him and fear not. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say Who shall see them? Psalm 64:1-5

As Joseph went with the Virgin Mary to Bethlehem to pay their taxes, the Babe Jesus was born in the manger, because there was no room for them in the Inn. What a tragedy, that the world had no room for Jesus, much like this Psalm as David prays to God to hear my voice and preserve my life from the secret counsel of the wicked. We must make sure that there is room in our hearts for Jesus and not get too caught up in the gift giving an atmosphere of the day. For Jesus is the greatest gift that was given to us, and though the Devil sets evil snares privily saying who shall see them? God will see, as He alone knows what is in the hearts of men. Enjoy this Christmas season by giving thanks to Jesus, as the Savior of the world who came as it was told by the prophets through forty-two generations in Bethlehem. Such a humble beginning for the Savior of mankind, yet Jesus steps into time out of eternity to do the will of God. None of the bitter words of the enemy could stop him or prevent him from coming to us. The oxen were loing as Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords was born that first Christmas day. So let us sing glory to God in the highest peace on earth and good will to men on whom His favor stands.

  • #Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. But those that seek my soul to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. Psalm 63:7-11

God has been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. This Christmas season takes time to hide under the shadow of His wings rejoicing in His love and mercy for sinners. For God became a man born of the Virgin Mary so that He could go to the Cross to pay our sin debt and redeem us to God by His blood. Therefore God upholdeth me with his right hand and king David trusted in the Lord to rescue his soul from his enemies. Now the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. So let us praise Jesus as the Magi did by bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They fell down and worshipped the Babe, then being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their country another way. Let us tell the Christmas story giving glory to God, and not being ashamed of Jesus as our Lord. The world will persecute us, but God will protect us under the shadow of His wings. Just as God warned the Magi, He warned Joseph in a dream to take the Babe, the Lord Jesus Christ to Egypt in fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Thereby stopping the lies of those following the father of lies the Devil. Praise God today and forever more.

  • #O God thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips. When I remember thee upon my bed and meditate on thee in the night watches. Psalm 63:1-6

David is in the wilderness of Judah and his soul is crying out O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee. He has learned the secret of seeking God in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. He longs to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. This Christmas season learns to seek God in the sanctuary, for there is where God is found in all of the daily tasks of life and seek Him early in the morning. David would remember God upon his bed and meditate on thee in the night watches. Just the Angels came to the shepherds in the night singing glory to God in the highest, peace on earth and good will toward men on whom His favor stands. For David was a man after God's heart and that is why God chose him as a little shepherd boy leading the flock. Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep and He came to the shepherds who were the most despised of men to reveal His glory and bring salvation to mankind. Take time out of your busy schedule and tell someone about Jesus this Christmas season, for Jesus is the reason for the season. He stands at the door knocking on your heart and if any man will open the door He will come in and sup with you. So as you thank God for your gifts, take time and thank God for giving us the greatest gift, His Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

  • #In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength and my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Surely men of low degree are vanity and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. Trust not in oppression and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. Psalm 62:7-12

David has learned the secret, that God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength and my refuge is in God. This Christmas season takes refuge in God alone and trust in Him at all times ye people, pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. God has spoken once; twice have I heard this, that power belongeth unto God. So if riches increase, set not your heart upon them, instead place your eyes upon Jesus and Him only for the salvation of your soul. For unto thee, O Lord belongeth mercy and He will reward every man according to his work. So sing unto the Lord make a joyful noise before Him for He alone is worthy of all our praises. Jesus is the great shepherd of the sheep and He laid down His life for the sheep that He might take it again. He is the resurrection and the life. He that believes in Him though he is dead, yet shall he live. Thank God that from the manger to the cross and to the empty tomb Jesus is Lord of all. All praises to God alone for He is my rock and my strength and from God belongeth deliverance from death. The last enemy that Jesus defeated on the cross, for when He said it is finished, the great work of redemption was complete in Him and The blood that He shed at the cross for us.

  • #Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be and as a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved. Psalm 62:1-6

David has learned the secret of waiting only upon God and not be greatly moved. This Christmas season takes time to wait only for God our Savior, as He was born a Babe in a manger to save us from our sins. David went on to say, my soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He is only my rock and salvation. That is what makes Christmas a joyous season as salvation is in the Lord Jesus Christ, as He only is my defense and I shall not be moved. No matter how many times you go shopping just say those promises and you will not be moved to despair this Christmas season.

  • #For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. Thou wilt prolong the king's life and his years as many generations. He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. So will I sing praise unto thy name forever, that I may daily perform my vows. Psalm 61:5-8

King David is performing this song before the Lord, as God has heard his vows and given him the heritage of those that fear thy name. God wilt prolong the king's life and his years as many generations. Because of the Lord Jesus Christ, he shall abide before God forever. This Christmas season, enjoy singing the carols to the glory of God, for unto us a Son is given and the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord His Christ. Just as Jesus fulfilled His vows by coming into this world as the Savior, for He shall save His people from their sin: therefore, David said I may daily perform my vows. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law and has extended grace to us forever.

  • #Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. Psalm 61:1-4

David cries out to God the most High, to attend unto my prayer. Then he cries out: from the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. That is where we need to be dwelling in the tabernacle of God crying out lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For God alone is a shelter for me and a strong tower from the enemy. So this Christmas try not to be overwhelmed by all the gift giving and just thank God for giving us the greatest gift: His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • #Gilead is mine and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me. Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, which hast cast us off? and thou O God, which didst not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God, we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies. Psalm 60 6-12

David has learned the secret of depending on God to give us help from trouble; for vain is the help of man. As the scripture tells us to put not our trust in man, whose breath is in his nostrils. God will never leave us or forsake us, Jesus has promised to be with us until the end of the age. So this Christmas season, do not worry about not having enough money to buy presents for all of your loved ones, just thank God that Jesus is our greatest gift that we can receive and give Him away this Christmas season. Live a life free from worry and trust God to meet all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

  • #O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us thou hast been displeased: O turn thyself to us again. Thou hast made the earth to tremble thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh. Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us drink the wine of astonishment. Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand and hear me. God hath spoken in His holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth. Psalm 60:1-6

Peace be unto you is what the Lord Jesus always said to His disciples and it is the way that we should address one another today. For these are perilous days that we are living in just as it was for David and yet the Lord took care of him despite all of his enemies trying to kill him. He is our Jehovah Nissi and has raised a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Pilot asked Jesus what is the truth?  Jesus replied I am the truth. He is the way, the truth and the life no man comes to the Father except by Him. So in this season of Christmas still away to Jesus and get to know the truth that came to set us free. When you know the truth, then you have the peace of God that passes all understanding. Many people go into debt buying gifts and trying to find peace. True peace comes from knowing that your sins are forgiven and that you have a home in heaven that will never pass away. Jesus said peace I give unto you, not as the world gives to you, let not your heart be troubled or afraid. As Jesus said to fear not, for it is I, so trust Him to be the Captain of your ship and He will bring you safely to the harbor. I have such peace in my life because I have Jesus as my Personal Savior and celebrate His birth, death, and resurrection always as a token of my peace in this troubled world. Do you know Him? Please try Him today and you will find peace for your soul and rest forever more.
