Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered: let them also that hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, do drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. but let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea let them exceedingly rejoice. Sing unto God, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name JAH and rejoice before Him. A father of the fatherless and a judge of the widows is God in His holy habitation. God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: The earth shook the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Psalm 68:1-8

All the praises belong to God, who is a Father to the fatherless and a judge of the widows, is God in His holy habitation. He alone brings out those bound with chains but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. What a mighty God we serve for the earth shook at the presence of God. Wax melted in the fire and His enemies were scattered. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Lord.

  • #God is merciful unto us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God: let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon earth. Let the people praise thee, O God, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Psalm 67:1-7

Thank you, God, for being merciful unto us and blessing us and causing your face to shine upon us. That thy way may be known upon the earth and thy saving health among all nations. For God is our Jehovah Rapha who saves to the uttermost all those who call upon Him. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously. We shall praise thee O God, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth give her increase and our own God, shall bless us. Praise Him today for He is worthy of all our praises.

  • #I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams: I will offer bullocks with goats, Selah. Come and hear, all ye that fear God and I will declare what He hath done for my soul. I cried unto Him with my mouth and He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me. Psalm 66:15-20

David has to offer goats and bullocks, as well as the burnt fatlings with the incense of rams. We offer the Blood of Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. We now can praise God with our tongue, for if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. So pleed the blood of Jesus daily so that the Lord will attend unto the voice of thy prayer. Thank God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me. He was faithful last year and if God is willing, He will be faithful every day that I live to extend mercy to me.

  • #O bless our God, ye people and make the voice of His praise to be heard: which holdeth our soul in life and suffereth not our feet to be moved. For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows, Which my lips have uttered and my mouth hath spoken when I was in trouble. Psalm 66:8-14

Happy New Year everyone and bless our God, ye people and make the voice of His praise to be heard: which holds our soul in life and suffereth not our feet to be moved. For God hast proved us: thou hast tried us as silver is tried in a furnace seven times and we are purified. I will go into thy house O God and pay thee my vows, which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken when I was in trouble. For thou O God is a lifter up of my head and my shield in a time of trouble. So praise God for bringing us into a New Year and allowing us to seek Him early in the morning. Consecrate your lives to God and pay the vows your lips have uttered, for God does not delight in fools.

  • #Make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands: Sing forth the honor of His name: make His praise glorious. Say unto God How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. Come and see the works of God: He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in Him. He ruleth by His power forever; His eyes behold the nations; let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. Psalm 66:1-7

We are told in scripture here to make a joyful noise unto God, We should say if the Lord will we will do this or that. God has provided for us, but this could be my last time I don't know, it may be the last day we sing and shout together, so sing today as if it is the last day of your life. Do not count tomorrow today for God could call you home today. So let us say if the Lord will we shall see the New Year. Give God the glory and do not boast of tomorrow.

  • #Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves and the tumult of the people. They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. Thou visitest the earth and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn when thou hast so provided for it. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settle the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness and thy paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness and the little hills rejoice on every side. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. Psalm 65:7-13

What a God we serve, who stills the noise of the waves and the tumult of the people. Thou visitest the earth and waterest it. Then thou crownest the year with thy goodness. We are about to go into a new year and we can be certain that God will crown the year with goodness. So sing unto the Lord and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. Every time you eat corn on the cobb thank God for watering the earth so that it would grow. As the valleys are covered over with corn they shout for joy, they also sing. We shall sing to the glory of God for all of His goodness.

  • #Praise waiteth for thee, O God in Sion and unto thee shall the vow be performed. O thou that hearest prayer unto thee shall all flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. By terrible things, in righteousness wilt, thou answer us O God of our salvation: who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth and of them that are far off upon the sea. Which by His strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power. Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves and the tumult of the people. Psalm 65:1-7

A song of praise from David to God in Sion unto thee shall the vow be performed. For O thou that hearest prayer unto thee shall all flesh come. Jesus often walked on the waters and quieted the waves of the sea by saying peace be still. So blessed is the man whom thou choosest and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts. It is only when we dwell in the courts of our God that we can find peace for the soul. It is by terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us O God of our salvation: who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth and them that are far off upon the sea. The disciples learned the secret of trusting Jesus as they were on the sea in the midst of a storm and Jesus came walking saying fear not, it is I. He is the master of the sea and all those who sail upon it. Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves and the tumult of the people. So let the one who stills the noise of the sea, still the noise of your heart by making His abode with thee. Jesus stands at the door of every heart waiting for thee to open the door and He will come in and sup with thee.

  • #They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them and the heart, is deep. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. And all men shall fear and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of doing. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD and shall trust in Him and all the upright in heart shall glory. Psalm 64:6-10

Jehovah God shall shoot an arrow at the wicked; suddenly shall they be wounded and all shall see them then flee away. The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah and shall trust in Him and the upright in heart shall glory. Thank God as we prepare to close out the year praising God for His goodness and faithfulness to the children of men. So many close calls yet the Lord has been faithful in watching over us and how we need to praise Him for His goodness, as well as His mercy to the children of men. As Simeon was able to see the Christ Child before his eyes would see death. Let us rejoice that Jesus has promised never to leave us or to forsake us but shall be with us until the end of the age. The mercy of the Lord is to all generations and we shall rejoice in God at all times cause His mercy is new every morning.

  • #Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: Who whet their tongue like a sword and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him and fear not. They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say Who shall see them? Psalm 64:1-5

As Joseph went with the Virgin Mary to Bethlehem to pay their taxes, the Babe Jesus was born in the manger, because there was no room for them in the Inn. What a tragedy, that the world had no room for Jesus, much like this Psalm as David prays to God to hear my voice and preserve my life from the secret counsel of the wicked. We must make sure that there is room in our hearts for Jesus and not get too caught up in the gift giving an atmosphere of the day. For Jesus is the greatest gift that was given to us, and though the Devil sets evil snares privily saying who shall see them? God will see, as He alone knows what is in the hearts of men. Enjoy this Christmas season by giving thanks to Jesus, as the Savior of the world who came as it was told by the prophets through forty-two generations in Bethlehem. Such a humble beginning for the Savior of mankind, yet Jesus steps into time out of eternity to do the will of God. None of the bitter words of the enemy could stop him or prevent him from coming to us. The oxen were loing as Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords was born that first Christmas day. So let us sing glory to God in the highest peace on earth and good will to men on whom His favor stands.

  • #Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. But those that seek my soul to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. Psalm 63:7-11

God has been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. This Christmas season takes time to hide under the shadow of His wings rejoicing in His love and mercy for sinners. For God became a man born of the Virgin Mary so that He could go to the Cross to pay our sin debt and redeem us to God by His blood. Therefore God upholdeth me with his right hand and king David trusted in the Lord to rescue his soul from his enemies. Now the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. So let us praise Jesus as the Magi did by bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They fell down and worshipped the Babe, then being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their country another way. Let us tell the Christmas story giving glory to God, and not being ashamed of Jesus as our Lord. The world will persecute us, but God will protect us under the shadow of His wings. Just as God warned the Magi, He warned Joseph in a dream to take the Babe, the Lord Jesus Christ to Egypt in fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Thereby stopping the lies of those following the father of lies the Devil. Praise God today and forever more.
