Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept  thy testimonies. Princes also did sit and speak against me, but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. Psalm 119:17-24

I thank my God that he has dealt bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Happy are those that love thy law and my soul breaks for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Therefore thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

  • #With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.  Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. Psalm 119:10-16

O Jehovah, with my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Therefore, the Psalmist says Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. It is important that we put these verses to memory in times of temptation, so that no iniquity will have dominion over us. As young people we must fight against lust, that wars against our soul. The Lord has allowed all temptations that come to us to be common unto us, and God is faithful, that he will not allow us to be tempted beyond our control so that we may bear it. Then with the temptation he allows us a way to escape. That is why we must meditate and hide the word in our hearts, so the Holy Spirit will bring it to our mind at just the right time. May God bless you my blessed children to do these things so that you will be victorious over temptation.

  • #Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalm 119:1-9

Happy are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the Law of Jehovah. Happy are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. O Lord, early will I seek thee, with my whole heart, let me not go astray, but let me cry out to thee, save me O thou great Jehovah. O that my ways were directed to keep all thy statutes. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. My father taught this passage at Church, fortifying the young. How thankful that I was blessed at an early age to hear the word of God and I learned to hide it in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.

  • #This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused has become the headstone of the corner. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Psalm 118:20-29

This is the gate of Jehovah, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused has become the headstone of the corner. This is the Lord Jesus Christ, the chief Cornerstone, that the builders rejected. He is Lord and has become our salvation. Blessed be he that comes in the name of Jehovah: we have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah. Thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.

  • #All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. They compassed me about, yea, they compassed me about but in the name of the LORD, I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and song and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the righteous hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the LORD. The LORD hath chastened me sore but hath not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them and I will praise the LORD. Psalm 118:10-19

Eleven times the Psalmist invokes the name of Jehovah in this passage and all nations compassed me about: but in the name of Jehovah, I will destroy them. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall, but Jehovah helped me. Jehovah is my strength and song and is become my salvation. Therefore the voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the righteous hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live and declare the works of Jehovah. Yes, Jehovah hath chastened me sore but hath not given me over to death. Now open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them and I will praise Jehovah God, for he alone is worthy to be praised.

  • #O give thanks unto the LORD; for his mercy he is good: because his mercy endureth forever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth forever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that His mercy endureth forever. Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth forever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. Psalm 118:1-9

O give thanks unto Jehovah; for his mercy is good: because his mercy endureth forever. Let Israel no say, that his mercy endureth forever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that His mercy endureth forever. Let them that fear Jehovah say that his mercy endureth forever. Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear what can man do unto me? Jehovah takes my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in princes. Trust ye in Jehovah God, for in him there is everlasting strength.

  • #"For his merciful kindness is great toward us and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD." Psalm 117:2

The merciful kindness is great of Jehovah toward us and his truth endureth for ever. Praise ye Jehovah God. For his merciful kindness is forever, but his patience is not. Do not presume upon the patience of Jehovah, for he is not willing that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance. Therefore praise him in the morning, noon, and evening, for he alone is worthy of all our praises.

  • #O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and will call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people, In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 116:16-19

O thou great Jehovah, I am thy servant and the son of thine handmaid. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and will call upon the name of Jehovah God. O I will pay my vows unto Jehovah in the presence of all the people, in the courts of Jehovah's house, in the midst of thee O Jerusalem. So Praise ye Jehovah, for he alone is worthy of all our praises.

  • #I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: I said in my hast, All men are liars. What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of his people. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:9-15

The psalmist says he will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living. Then he makes an amazing statement: I said in my haste, All men are liars. I believe this is very true and trustworthy. Only the Lord is it impossible to lie. Now the psalmist will pay his vows unto Jehovah in the presence of his people. Then the statement that is so calming: precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints. This verse is given to many when a saint dies, for we know that they are precious in the sight of Jehovah and that is why he has taken them.

  • #Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears and my feet from falling. Psalms 116:2-8

Jehovah hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of Jehovah. O thou great Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. For the Lord is gracious, Jehovah is righteous; yea, our God is merciful. I will rest upon Jehovah, for Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee. For he has delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears and my feet from falling. Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in Jehovah God there is everlasting strength.
