A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and forever. Psalm 131:1-3

Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. Thank you Lord for great is thy faithfulness, so Let Israel hope in Jehovah God from henceforth and forevermore. I will forever praise thee for we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

  • #(A Song of degrees.) Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. Psalm 130:1-8

If Jehovah should mark iniquities, O Jesus, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for Jesus more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in Jehovah: for with Jehovah God there is mercy and with him is plenteous redemption. Yes, and he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. So repent and turn to the Lord for in him is everlasting strength.

  • #Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say: Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. Neither do they which go by say, the blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD. Psalm 129:1-8

Thank the Lord that from our youth, many a time have they afflicted me, may Israel now say, yet they have not prevailed against me. Jehovah is righteous: hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Therefore let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. The Lord will protect Zion just as he did against Adolf Hitler. Neither do they which go by say, the blessing of Jehovah be upon you: we will bless you in the name of Jehovah. From our youth to our old age we shall be protected by Jehovah. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper that do so. I pray that if you do not have Jesus as your Personal Savior that you will invite him into your heart.

  • #Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands: happy shalt thou be and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children and peace upon Israel. Psalm 128:1-6

Happy is every one that fears Jehovah: that walks in his ways. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children shall be like olive plants around the table. Behold, that will be the abode of the man blessed that fears Jehovah. Jehovah shall bless thee out of Zion and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Yes, thou shalt see thy grandchildren and peace upon Israel. May this Psalm bless you and your household in the Lord.

  • #EXCEPT the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:1-5

Except Jehovah builds the house, they labor in vain that build it; except Jehovah keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. How vain it is to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for he gives his beloved sleep. So think about that verse next time you are tempted to stay up late watching a movie when you should be sleeping. Children are a heritage of the Lord. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. May the Lord bless all marriages to be built on the word of God.

  • #When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen the LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:1-6

When Jehovah God, turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with singing: then the heathens said Jehovah God hath done great things for them. Jehovah hath done great things for us: whereof we are glad. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. This is a beautiful Psalm of deliverance from captivity and how the Lord gives weeping as bearing precious seed. They shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. So weeping maybe for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

  • #They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon a lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity, but peace shall be upon Israel. Psalm 125:1-5

They that trust in Jehovah shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon a lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Therefore do good, O thou great Jehovah unto those that be good and to them that are upright in their heats. Cry out to God and he will save you. Peace shall be upon Israel the apple of his eye.

  • #(A Song of degrees of David) If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 124:1-8

If it had not been now may Israel say; if Jehovah God who was on our side when men rose up against us: Then our enemies had swallowed us up quick when their wrath was kindled against us; Blessed be Jehovah, who hath not given us as prey to their teeth. Our help is in the name of Jehovah God, who made heaven and earth. So praise him today for he is worthy of our praises. Give your soul to him for he is able to save unto the uttermost.

  • #Unto thee lift I up my eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us; for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease and with the contempt of the proud. Psalm 123:1-4

O thou great Jehovah God, unto thee, lift I up my eyes, thou that dwellest in the heavens. Have mercy on us, for as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so do we look to thee O God. Have mercy upon us Jehovah, for we are exceedingly filled with contempt with those at ease in Zion and the proud. Thank you O Lord for watching over us and not allowing our enemies to consume us. For thy mercy is everlasting and I will wait upon thee.

  • #(A Song of degrees of David) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together: Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace is within thy walls and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good. Psalm 122:1-9

For David learned the secret of success is to be glad to enter into the house of Jehovah God. Then we must pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace is within thy walls and prosperity within thy palaces. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Then we can say for my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of Jehovah our God, I will seek thy good. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
