Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #He brought them out of darkness, and the shadow of death and brake their bands in sunder. Oh, that men would praise the LORD for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he hath broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron in sunder. Fools because of their transgression and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat and they draw near unto the gates of death. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. Psalm 107:14-20

Jehovah God brought them out of darkness, and the shadow of death and brake their bands in sunder. Oh, that men would praise Jehovah for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men! How Jehovah delivered fools when they cried out to him in their distresses. It is because his mercies are new every morning, but we must be careful not to presume upon the grace of God.

  • #And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. Oh, that men would praise the LORD for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Such as sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; Because they rebelled against the words of God and contemned the counsel of the most High. Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down and there was none to help. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble and he saved them out of their distresses. Psalm 107:7-13

Time and time again the children of Israel would forget the Lord God and get into trouble. Then they would cry out to Jehovah God most High and he would deliver their souls from trouble. Oh, that men would praise the LORD for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men. We are going to hear that phrase over and over again in this psalm. It tells us how much alike we are to the children of Israel in the Church Age.

  • #O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. The wanderer in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble and he delivered them out of their distresses. Psalm 107:1-6

I give thanks to Jehovah God, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, for he hath redeemed us from the hand of the enemy. The children of Israel cried unto Jehovah in their trouble and he delivered them out of their distresses.

  • #And he gave them into the hand of the heathen and they that hated them ruled over them. Their enemies also oppressed them and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Many times did he deliver them, but they provoked him with their counsel and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless, he regarded their affliction when he heard their cry: And he remembered for them his covenant and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us, O LORD our God and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name and to triumph in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 106:41-48

Jehovah God regarded their affliction when they cried unto Him, and remembered for them His covenant, then repented according to the multitude of His mercies. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us. O thou great Jehovah and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name and to triumph in thy praise. Let us bless the name of Jehovah God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting and let all the people say Amen. Praise ye Jehovah!!!

  • #And He gave them their request but sent leanness into their soul. They envied Moses also in the camp and Aaron the saint of the LORD. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram. And a fire was kindled in the company; the flame burned up the wicked. They made a calf in Horeb and worshipped the molten image. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. They forgot God their savior, which had done great things in Egypt; Wondrous works in the land of Ham and terrible things by the Red Sea. Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He should destroy them. Psalm 106:15-23

We have a High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, who intercedes for us before the Father in heaven every day. He keeps the wrath of God from kindling against us daily. Moses also kept the wrath of God from destroying the children of Israel when they changed their glory into an ox that eateth grass. How thankful I am for a Christian brother like Robert who prays with me before the throne of grace and mercy. Where would we be if Jehovah God had not loved us with an everlasting love? Thank God that He shows His mercy to us every day and His mercies are new every morning. Thank God and give Him praise for His faithfulness.

  • #Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. He rebuked the Red sea also and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left. Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted God in the desert. Psalm 106:8-14

God saved the children of Israel from the Red Sea, by allowing them to walk on dry ground. Then after they had successfully passed over he allowed the Red sea to cover all of their enemies. So he saved them from those that hated them and redeemed them from the hand of their enemies. Yet they soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel; But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted God in the desert. We must be careful not to make the same mistake and worship God forever.

  • #Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all His praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment and him that doeth righteousness at all times. Remember me, O Lord, with the favor that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red Sea. Psalm 106:1-7

Praise ye Jehovah and give thanks unto Jehovah God; for He is good. Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah? Who can shew forth his praise? Remember me Jehovah with thy favor that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation. Give thanks to Jehovah God at all times. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt and they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies, but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red Sea. See to it that you remember the mercies of the Lord for He is good.

  • #He brought them forth also with silver and gold and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them. He spread a cloud for a covering and fire to give light in the night. The people asked and He brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock and the waters gushed out; they ran in dry places like a river. For He remembered His holy promise and Abraham his servant. Psalm 105:37-42

The Lord provided the bread of heaven for the children of Israel to eat and sent a cloud by day to keep them cool, as well as fire by night so they could see. God remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant. All of these are examples to us of the faithfulness of God so that we too can have hope and comfort of the scriptures.

  • #He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm. Psalm 105:14,15

Jehovah God watched over the children of Israel by protecting them from unjust kings and suffered no man to do them wrong. As we have just celebrated Mother's Day let us protect all Mothers around the world and suffer no one to do them harm. For where would we be without Mothers? Thank God for your mother and all the times she protected you from dangers seen and prayed for your protection as well as carried you in her womb for nine months. My mother is home with the Lord, and I know in heaven she is in the hand of Jesus as the Lord intercedes for us daily. May God bless us to intercede for our children too as our mothers have so faithfully done for us.

  • #O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon His name: make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all His wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength: seek His face evermore. Remember The marvelous works that He hath done; his wonders and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. He is the LORD our God: His judgments are in the earth. He hath remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Psalms 105:1-8

O give thanks to Jehovah God and call upon His name, make His deeds known among the people. Thank God for the rains, and the floods for His mercy is in the earth. Seek Jehovah and His strength; seek His face for evermore. For Jehovah God is our Lord, and His judgments are in all the earth.
