A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

Hear me speedily, O LORD, my spirit faileth, hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Psalms 143:7
Therefore, my spirit is overwhelmed within me, my heart within me is desolate. I remember the days of old, I meditate on all thy works, I muse on the works of thy hands, I stretch forth my hands unto thee, my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning. For in thee do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto thee. Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies. I flee unto thee to hide me. Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Thy spirit is good, lead me into the land of uprightness. The Hebrew word for pit is Bowr, meaning a pit hole, one that is used for a prison
The Psalmist is crying out to Jehovah God to hear me speedily, for my spirit faileth, and to hide not thy face from me lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. Joseph was thrown into the pit by his brethren and left for dead. We know the end of the story, from the pit to prison, and then to the palace. We must always see God in our circumstances and be like Joseph, who prospered everywhere God sent him. For in thee do I trust. Pray for the Lord to cause me to know the way wherein I should walk. This is the key to being victorious in every trial that you go through in life. Then pray teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God. Joseph was able to say, " Ye meant it for evil, but God meant it for good, that many people could be saved.
Thy spirit is good, lead me into the land of uprightness. Not my will but thine be done is the prayer that the Lord Jesus said in the garden of Gethsemane, and He went to the cross to pay for all our sins, so that He could lead us into the way of uprightness. When we have this attitude, we can survive any pit that we may be thrown into, and God will be glorified in our lives.
#That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such word go out of thy mouth. Job 15:13 If a man dies, shall he live again?
With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father. Are the consolations of God small with thee? Is there any secret thing with thee? Why doth thine heart carry thee away? And what do thine eyes wink at? What is man that he should be clean? And he who is born of a woman that he should be righteous? Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints. Yeah, the heavens are not clean in his sight. How much more abominable and filthy is man, who drinketh iniquity like water? The Hebrew word for spirit is Ruwach, meaning wind.
If a man dies, shall he live again? Job asked this question 4000 years ago, and the Lord Jesus Christ answered it 2000 years ago when He died on the cross and was raised three days later. Jesus is our consolation with God and is the only Mediator between God and man. All of these questions can only be answered when we put our total trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Behold God putteth no trust in His saints. We, too, must learn not to. Let God be true and all men liars. We must take our refuge in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, as an anchor for our souls. For Jesus is the resurrection and the life, he that believes in Him, though he be dead, yet shall he live. This is the blessed hope that we all have, that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. For we will not all sleep, for at the last trumpet, the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, and the voice of an arcangel, and the dead in Christ shall be raised first, then those who are alive will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. So shall we ever be with the Lord.
If a man dies, shall he live again? The answer is a resounding yes, in the Lord Jesus Christ, let us not sorrow as those who have no hope. All those who sleep in the grave will be raised again, those with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life, and those who rejected faith in the Lord, to eternal damnation. Make sure of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
#Honor thy father and thy mother; and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Matthew 19:19 So shall it be well with thee.
And behold, one came and said unto Him, " Good Master," what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? And He said why callest thou Me good? There is none good but one, that is God. But if thou would enter into life, keep the commandments. He said unto Him which? Jesus said thou shalt do no murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness. The young man said unto Him, All these things from my youth have I kept up. What lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou would be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. And come and follow Me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. The Greek word for neighbor is Plesion, meaning a friend, or Christian.'
So shall it be well with thee. Jesus confronted the young man who asked Him Good Master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? Jesus told him to keep the commandments, and the young man said, "All these things have I kept from my youth up." Then Jesus marveled and said if thou would be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give to the poor, then follow Me. The young man walked away sorrowfully, because he had great possessions. The sin of this young man was covetousness. Love is the fulfillment of the law, Jesus is the only one who fulfilled the law, and that is why He died on the cross for our sins, and was raised the third day for our justification. If you will have eternal life, you must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and take up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Him.
So shall it be well with thee when you honor thy father and thy mother. It is time for the parents to look after the children, and not the children for their parents. Get your own house, for it is mandatory that a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife. When we do this, God will honor you with long life, and it will be well with you.
#And there came two angels to Sodom at even, and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. And Lot, seeing them, rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face towards the ground. Genesis 19:1 Sodom was a wicked and perverse city.
And he said behold now my lords, and turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house and tarry all night. And wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay, we shall abide in the street all night. And he pressed upon them greatly, and they turned in unto him and entered his house. And he made them a feast. And did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house around. both old and young, and all the people from every quarter.
The Hebrew word for angels is Malak, meaning a messenger, especially of God. Sodom was a wicked and perverse city, and God had sent these angels to spy out the city to see how wicked it was. These angels looked like men, and we have been told to be careful to entertain strangers, for some have entertained angels unawares. The men of Sodom were homosexuals, and wanted to ravish these men, but God caused the angels to strike them with blindness. Jesus said as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be when the Son of man comes again. We are living in these days, as June is Pride month, and people are coming out of the closet, openly practicing what was kept in the dark. Men are burning with lust towards men, and women are lusting after women.
Sodom was a wicked and perverse city, and God used it as an example of what would happen to all those who would live ungodly. God used fire and brimstone to destroy Sodom, and He will do the same to all those who live ungodly in the hereafter. We must warn the people to repent and seek the Lord while there is time. These days, same sex marriage is popular, and marriage between a man and a woman is being challenged in society. We ministers must warn the people of the judgment of God that is coming, and no doubt angels are being sent today to spy out the city as they did in Sodom. Let us be careful to entertain strangers, for they could be angels sent by God to warn us of judgment to come.
#Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved Me, you would rejoice, because I said I go unto the Father, for My Father is greater than I. John 14:28 Let not your hearts be troubled.
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things. and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace, I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you, let not your hearts be troubled. Neither let it be afraid. And now I have told you, before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, ye might believe. Hereafter, I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me. But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. The Greek word for love is Agapao, meaning unconditional love.
Let not your hearts be troubled, Jesus said you believe in Me, believe also in My Father. For I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go I will come again and bring you where I am. These are the things that the Lord Jesus has spoken unto us, for He is going to send the comforter, who shall come and teach us all things. The prince of this world cometh, who is Satan, and he hath nothing in Me. As the Father has given Me commandment, so give I unto you, that ye must go, and that your fruit must remain. Let us love one another as I have loved you and will give myself on the cross for your sins. These things have I spoken unto you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives unto you.
#Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have no high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, and yet without sin. The Greek word for mercy is Eleos, meaning compassion.
We are blessed to have a great High Priest who has been touched with the feelings of our infirmities, and was in all points tempted like as we are, and yet was without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for you and me. When we do this, we can be victorious in our daily trials and tribulations.
Victory today is mine, I told Satan, to get thee behind, because victory today is mine. This great hymn of the church is sung so that we can remember to come boldly before the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace in time of need. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, night and day, but thank God Jesus is there interceding for us, that my blood has covered all their sins. Praise God from whom all blessings flow, and give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. The Greek word for grace is Charis, for unmerited favor. We have this every time we come boldly before the throne of Grace. Jesus occupies three offices: Prophet, Priest, and King. So what a blessing this is for us, knowing that He can supply all our needs.
My prayers go out to Katana who needs grace and mercy in her time of need. Lord Jesus, please heal her body and restore her heart to full operation as our Jehovah Rapha, Amen.
#And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, would I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ should rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 His grace is sufficient for thee
For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool, for I will say the truth. But now I forbear lest they should think of me above that which he seeth me to be or that he heareth of me. And lest I should be exalted above measure, through the abundance of the revelations, there was given unto me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing, I besought the Lord thrice that it might depart from me. Therefore, I take pleasure in my infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in destresses for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong. I have become a fool in glorying, Ye have compelled me, for I ought to have been commended of you, for I am in nothing behind the chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. Truly, the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. The Greek word for grace is Charis, meaning the divine influence upon the heart.
His grace is sufficient for thee. Paul learned this lesson when he besought the Lord to take away the thorn in the flesh three times. Jesus replied, My grace is sufficient for thee, My strength is made perfect in weakness. So Paul learned to boast of his infirmities so that the power of Christ would rest upon him. We too have to learn this lesson in life. I have experienced the grace of God in my life, as I have been separated from my wife of thirty-nine years for ten years now. I am learning to depend upon the Lord for my daily needs. Great is thy faithfulness for me. I thank the Lord that in my weaknesses I have become strong. I, too, will boast of my weakness so that the power of Christ will remain upon me.
#They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:23 Thank God for great is His faithfulness
My soul still hath them in remembrance and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I have hope in Him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. The Hebrew word for faithfulness is Emuwnah, meaning firmness and moral fidelity.
Thank God for great is His faithfulness. This passage is where we get the great hymn of the Church, "Great is Thy Faithfulness." This hymn has been my hope of salvation all my life, and I thank God for it. The mercies of the Lord Jehovah are new every morning, for it is because of that that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. I have learned that it is good that a man should both hope and wait for the salvation of Jehovah God. He is never early, and never late, because He is an on-time God. I thank God for His firmness and moral fidelity in my life.
Thank God for His great faithfulness; that is my prayer, and I will not lose hope, even though I am tempted to, for God is my light and my salvation. I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not unto my understanding. I will delight myself in the Lord, for He alone can give the desires of my heart. I want to be like Jesus, fully clothed in His righteousness. It is my prayer that you will wait upon the Lord, too, and know that He doeth all things well.
#And Abraham said, " My son, My God shall provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering. So they both went together. Genesis 22:8
And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass, and the lad, and I will go yonder and worship, then come again to you. And Abraham took the wood and the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son, and he took the fire and the knife in his hand, and they went both of them together. And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said My father, Here am I, my son, and he said behold the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering? And they came to the place which God had told them of. Abraham built an altar there, laid the wood in order, bound Isaac, his son, and laid him upon the wood. Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son, and the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said Abraham, Abraham, and he said Here am I. The Hebrew word for offering is Olah, meaning a step, or, more commonly, a holocaust.
Abraham passed the test, and God told Abraham to stay his hand, for I know that you fear Me, and I have provided a ram in the bushes. Jehovah Jireh, God is our provider, and when we are at our last end, God provides a ram in the bushes, as He did for Abraham. The faith of Abraham was that God would raise his son from the dead, since he was the promised Son. This is a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ when He cried out on the cross, My God! My God! why hast thou forsaken Me? The heavenly Father did not spare His Son, but made Him an offering for sin for all of us. Praise God, Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Trust in God at all times and lay out your heart before Him as Abraham did, and God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus
#But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars.shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21:8 Sinners will be running on that great day, and who shall be able to stand?
And He that sat upon the throne said Behold, I make all things new and He said unto me, " Write, for these words are faithful and true and He said unto me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst, of the fountain of water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. And there came unto Me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues and talked with me saying, come hither, I will show thee the bride the Lamb's wife, And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me that great city the holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God Having the glory of God and her light was like unto a stone most precious even like jasper stone clear and crystal;
Sinners will be running on that great day, and who shall be able to stand? Jesus sent His angel to show the apostle John, who was exiled on Patmos, the things that would happen at the great white throne judgment seat. This is the second death, and all those who stand before this judgment will not have their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. So it is imperative that you repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior today.
