Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. Lamentations 3:4

The Hebrew word for anger is Anaph; meaning wrath; II King 17:18 Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel and removed them out of His sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only. Jeremiah is weeping because Israel has forsaken the Law and the statutes and caused their children to pass through the fire. They worshiped the host of heaven and practiced divination  Jehovah was in wrath so He saved only the tribe of Judah from which the Messiah would come. 1 Corinthians 10:6 Now these things were our examples to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted Neither be ye idolaters as were some of them, as it was written. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents. Our God is jealous. Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt not worship any other god: for the LORD whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God; truly it is of the Lord's mercies that we have not been consumed, for His mercies are new every morning great is thy faithfulness.

  • #We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. Lamentations 3:42

The Hebrew word for rebelled is Maraw; meaning to disobey and be bitter. to be contentious. causatively to provoke Numbers 20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth the water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. And Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him. And Mose lifted up his hand and with his rod he smote the rock twice and the water came out abundantly and the congregation drank, and their beast also. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring the congregation into the land which I have given them. We see how Moses was angry with the people and became bitter, thus instead of speaking to the rock, he smote it twice. This mistake by Moses kept him from leading the children of Israel into the promised land. This set a bad example before the congregation, and the people stumbled because of this. The scripture tells us to be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Paul said let not the sun go down on thy wrath, Be angry but sin not.

  • #Let us lift our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens. Lamentations 3:41

The Hebrew word for heart is Lebab; meaning the inner man, mind, and will. 1 Samuel 1:8 Then said Elkanah her husband, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? Jeremiah is calling on the people of Israel to lift their hearts and their hands unto the God in the heavens. For we are to cast our every cares upon Him, for He cares for us. Hannah is sorrowful because she is baren, and her husband Elkanah said am not I better to thee than ten sons? God put this desire in the inner man to want a man child. Hannah was grieved and stopped eating. She was in bitterness of soul and prayed unto Jehovah God and wept sore. And she vowed a vow and said O Jehovah God of hosts if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. Jehovah God answered the prayer of Hannah and gave her a man child, Samuel, and she gave him to the LORD all the days of his life as she had promised. We see that when we lift up holy hands to Jehovah with a pure heart, He hears our prayers. I thank the Lord that Jesus said if we ask anything according to His will, He will hear us.

  • #Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Lamentations 3:40

The Hebrew, search word is Chaphas; meaning to seek intimately, to conceal oneself. Psalm 139:23,24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Jeremiah is crying out for the people of Judah and Israel to seek intimately Jehovah God, and turn again to Him. For Jehovah God alone can try our hearts, as we try to conceal our ways, therefore we must remove the mask and allow the Lord to penetrate our heart. For the heart is desperately deceitful, and who can know it but the LORD.  Ecclesiastes 12:9,10  And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge: yea he gave good heed and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. The preacher sought out to find out acceptable words and that which was upright, even the words of truth. For ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. This is what we must do, for whom the Son sets free, is free indeed.

  • #Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Lamentations 3:39

The Hebrew word for the punishment of sin Is Chata; meaning a crime or its penalty. 2 Samuel 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for His mercies are great and let me not fall into the hand of man. This is the mental health awareness month of May, and a pastor has said his mentally challenged wife committed suicide, but some of the members do not believe it. King David his sin with Bathsheba, and the prophet Nathan told him thou art the man, and the sword will not leave your house because of this sin. David does not complain about his punishment. So Gad is the seer of King David for when it was morning the word of the LORD came unto Gad, saying go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of do it them, that I may do it unto thee So God came to David, and told him and said unto him. Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in the land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days pestilence in thy land? So David chose the three days of pestilence because the mercy of God is great. So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men. And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: Praise God for the mercy of God, for He has not dealt unto us as our sins demand. God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, and Jesus said It was finished. The great work of redemption has been accomplished and His blood has covered our sins. Now let us seek out mental health professionals to examine our mind, as sure as the body gets sick, so does the mind. Let the wicked man forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts and return to the Lord for He will abundantly pardon.

  • #Many shall be purified and made white and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12:10

The Hebrew word for purified is Barar; meaning to purge out Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent. Jehovah God is going to purge sin out of the people with the blood of Jesus, and many will be made as white as snow, and many will be tried in the fire to purify the dross out of them. Jesus said in your patience ye possess your souls. The wicked will get worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived they will not understand when the Day of the Lord comes. Yet the wise shall understand and shine as the stars winning souls to Christ. When the abomination that makes desolation shall occur, which is the Antichrist standing in the temple claiming to be God, run for the hills. Do not receive the mark of the beast' which is 666, this is going to bring eternal wrath on those who receive it. God will seal 144 thousand Jewish evangelists who will have the seal of God on their forehead, and they will preach the gospel of the coming kingdom. He that shall endure until the end shall be saved, for Jesus will return riding on the clouds as his chariots with thousands of His holy angels taking wrath on those who do not obey the gospel. Then God will restore a pure language, as it was before the tower of Babel when God disseminated the languages. Then all will be able to call on the name of Jehovah, as their LORD.

  • #Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? Lamentations 3:38

The Hebrew word for Most High is Elyown; meaning the Supreme, Lofty. From Alah; an elevation. Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. The Antichrist shall try to usurp his authority over the Most High God Elyown and shall seek to change laws and times. And the kingdom and dominion, and greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven shall be given to the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey Him. God does not do evil and good. The Lord Jesus shall rule the nations and the government shall be upon His shoulders and of His government there shall be no end. The earth is His footstool and He is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Let us magnify His name for He is exalted and above all, for at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord to the glory of God our Father. Moreover, bow to Him now and you will be saved from the wrath to come. For He will judge the nations as the sheep and goats will be separated. All those nations that did evil to Israel will be cast into outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth

  • #Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Psalms 56:8

Our hearts are in sorrow at the tornadoes and floods that are causing loss of properties, and life. We thank God for the meteorologist being able to predict with better accuracy with the radar technology. But Naham 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and the storm and the clouds are the dust of His feet. Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Jesus wept at the funeral of Lazarus and said in John 11:25 I am the resurrection and the life, he that believes in me, though he is dead shall live. Job saith naked came I from my mother's womb and naked shall I return, the Lord gives and takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord. We must know that weeping may be for the night but joy comes in the morning. So all our tears are in a bottle in heaven. I weep over my mental illness and my wife leaving me for over seven years, but I remember Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you, I will be with you always until the end of the age. Tears are our language, God understands so if you are weeping wait on the Lord, for we will understand it better bye, and bye, when the morning comes.

  • #Who is he that saith and it cometh to pass when the Lord commandeth it not? Lamentations 3:37

The Hebrew word Lord is Adonay; meaning the Lord. My Lord, From an emphatic form of Adown; The Lord,(used as a proper name of God only) Adown, means Sovereign, controller; from an unused root, (meaning to rule) i.e, Controller (human or divine) Lord, master, owner. or Adoni Daniel 1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. lord is used as master, and Abraham had Sarah call him Yes my lord. It is the ultimate form of respect to call my lord. We do not have the right to be called Lord, for that title is for the Sovereign God. To say something and it cometh to pass when the Lord commandeth it not? As with Daniel who told his master to let them eat vegetables and their faces would be better than eating the king's meat. This was noble for Daniel who made a vow not to defile himself with the king's wine or meat. So Daniel told Melzar to provide thy servants ten days and let them give us pulse to eat and water to drink. Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat a portion of the king's meat, and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. Daniel was rewarded for his faith. We walk by faith and not by sight. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and it shall come to pass.

  • #To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High. Lamentations 3:35

The Hebrew word for most High is Elyown; which means the Supreme; an elevation. From Alah;  an elevation or to ascend, arises up cause to ascend. Genesis 19:15 and when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying Arise, take thy wife and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. The most high God. Elyown told the angels to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for the wickedness of the city was great. Lot and his wife, with their two daughters were told not to look back. Jesus told us to remember Lot's wife, for she looked back and became a pillar of salt. The warning is there for us as in the last days it will be as Sodom and Noah. Noah was able to save his family, but Lot was mocked by his sons-in-law and they ultimately perished in the firey brimstone that fell on Sodom. When the Son of man comes back to this earth, will He find faith on the earth? This is the ultimate problem as man has turned aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High. Let us warn the wicked as Lot did and he was vexed at the filthy conversations of the wicked. God is not willing that any would perish, but that all would repent Which means a change of mind. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy before Him endured the cross, despising its shame and now He is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us. Let us do as the Apostle Paul said," Forgetting what is behind, Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do: Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. Paul is talking about perfection, which God demands of us, it does not come by keeping the Law, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why we must increase our faith by forgetting the things of this world and looking unto Jesus the Author and finisher of our salvation
