Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #I John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last and what thou seest, write in a book and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philidelphia, and unto Laodicea. Revelation 1:9-11

    • John the Apostle is exiled on the Isle of Patmos for the tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ receives this revelation from the angel of God to write in a book, called Revelation, which is the Apocalypse. This is on the Lord's Day, which is Sunday when he is writing this book, and he is told to write to the seven churches in Asia in the Spirit. The great voice as a trumpet that he heard is the Lord Jesus Christ who is inspiring him to write these things. Revelation is the only apocalyptic book in the New Testament. This book is such a blessing to all those who read it. So just pray to the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and your understanding as we walk through the book of Revelation. The unveiling of this book will allow us to see Jesus in all of His glory.
  • #Behold, He cometh with clouds and every eye shall see Him and them also which pierced Him and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come the Almighty. Revelation 1:7,8

    • Jesus is coming back on the clouds, which are His chariots, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. All races of the earth will wail because of Him. They will wish they had believed in Him. For He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning of the Greek alphabet and the ending.
  • #John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you and peace from Him which is and which was and which is to come and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and first-begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him, that loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever Amen. Revelation 1:4-6

    • We have the outline of the book of Revelation: Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come. This speaks of the coming of Jesus into the world as the Babe in the manger and then His dying on the Cross and rising from the Grave, and His ascension to the Right hand of the Father from which He will come again. John is writing to the seven churches in Asia, who are the kings and priests because they have been washed in the Blood of Jesus on the Cross. Then John gives the doxology of Jesus to Him be glory and dominion forever Amen. We are just getting started with the Revelation of Jesus Christ so get excited about the study of this blessed book.
  • #The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John: Who bare record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1;1-3

    • Apokalypsis is the Greek text for Revelation which is the unveiling of Jesus Christ in all of His glory. John the Apostle is exiled on the island of Patmos and an angel of God is sent by Jesus Christ to give him the book of the Revelation. Blessed is he that readeth and keeps the teaching of this book. So put on your spiritual shoes and get ready for a wonderful walk through the inspired word of God. We are going to see the risen Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ in all of His glory. Study the book of Daniel for it is a great pillow to the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • #Then opened He their understanding that they might understand the scriptures. And said unto them. Thus it is written and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke 24:45-49

Jesus opened their understanding so that they could see that Christ had to suffer these things and rise from the dead the third day. Then He told them to wait in Jerusalem until they would receive the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit ten days after His ascension. And it came to pass while He blessed them, He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And they worshipped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

  •  #And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulcher and found it even so as the women had said, but Him they saw not. Then He said unto them, O fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? Luke 24:24-26

    • It is no April fools joke Christ Jesus is risen today, as the disciples on the road to Emmas which was in Jerusalem about sixty stadia distance were walking along the way and Jesus said O fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself. And it came to pass as He sat at meat with them, He took bread and blessed it and brake and gave them. And their eyes were opened and they knew Him and He vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us by the way and while He opened to us the scriptures? And as they thus spake Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them and said unto them Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And He said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself handle me and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Have ye any meat here? And they gave Him a piece of broiled fish and of a honeycomb. And He took it and did eat before them. What a blessing that in our glorified bodies we will be able to eat just like Jesus for we will see Him as He is and be just like Him. How I wish I could have been there as the disciples were there to witness all these things. Unto us, a Son is given and He has risen from the grave just as He said. Behold the place where He lay the linen clothes laid by themselves just as He was laid. For the Psalms said that He would not see corruption. So He rose the third day just like He said.
  • #And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father into thy hands I commend my spirit. and having said thus, He gave up the Ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God saying Certainly this was a righteous man. And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts and returned. And all His acquaintance and the women that followed Him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things. And behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counselor and he was a good man and a just: (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them:) he was of Arimathaea a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God. This man went unto Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down and wrapped it in linen and laid it in a sepulcher that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day was the preparation and the Sabbath drew on. Luke 23:46-54

    • Jesus was on the Cross for six hours and on the ninth hour He gave up the Ghost and Joseph of Arimathaea a good man and just man who waited for the kingdom of God, who was a Pharisee that did not consent to the council of them that crucified Jesus, begged Pilate for the body of Jesus. He took it a wrapped it in linen in a mummified manner and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out in stone wherein never man before was laid. This was just before the Sabbath when this was done So while Jesus was dead He took captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. He then transferred Abraham's bosom to Paradise.  What a glorious time this was as every rock was rent and the graves opened at this time. Jesus awaited His resurrection from the dead.
  • #And there followed Him a great company of people and of women, which also bewailed and lamented Him. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem weep not for me but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bare and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, fall on us and to the hills, Cover us? For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? And there were also two others, malefactors, led with Him to be put to death. And when they came to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified Him and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment and cast lots. Luke 23:27-34

    • Jesus had been led by the chief priests the scribes to Pilot and he found no fault in Jesus, but the chief priest cries out to crucify Him. So there was a great company of women following Him weeping and bewailing but Jesus goes to the time of the great tribulation when the children of Israel will be in distress and great trouble. Jesus tells them not to weep for Him but to weep for themselves and their children. For they will cry for the hills to fall on them and cover us. Jesus is crucified on a hill called Calvary which is the place of a skull, with two malefactors, one on the right hand and one on the left. Then Jesus prays to God the Father to forgive them for they know not what they are doing. Just as Isaiah 53 said He would do. As we celebrate today which is called Good Friday, it is so because Jesus suffered willing death on the Cross as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Receive Him as your personal Savior and it will be a Good Friday for you too.
  • #And as soon as it was the day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together and led Him into their council, saying art thou the Christ? tell us and He said unto them, if I tell you, ye will not believe and if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Luke 22:66-69

    • Jesus knows their hearts and tells them all the things that will happen to the Son of man and the chief priests, as well as the scribes would not believe Him. So Jesus tells them hereafter shall ye the Son of man sits on the right hand of the power of God. That is where He is today interceding for you and for me. For it pleased the Father to allow the Son of man to suffer death on the Cross so that He could be the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. So no matter what we have to suffer for Jesus Christ sake, we can be assured as Jesus said in this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. We too will overcome this world by the power of the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth and will present us faultless in His presence on that glorious day.
  • #And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter and Peter remembered the word of the Lord how He said unto him before the cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out and wept bitterly. And the men that held Jesus mocked Him and smote Him. And when they had blindfolded Him they struck Him on the face and asked Him saying prophesy, who it is that smote thee? And many other things blasphemously spake they against Him. Luke 22:61-65

    • Jesus had warned Peter about the devil desiring to sift him as wheat but that He had prayed that his faith would not fail. Peter did deny the Lord and wept bitterly after he remembered what Jesus said about the cock shalt crow thrice before he would deny Him three times. Then they mocked Jesus and smote Him. Nevertheless, Jesus did not react to all the blasphemous things that they said. Then said they all, art thou then the Son of God? And He said unto them Ye say that I am. Then said the Pharisees the chief priest and the scribes what need we any further witness? For ye heard with out of His mouth spoke He. We must praise Jesus for as a Lamb before His slaughter is dumb so was Jesus in order for Him to save us.
