A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandment. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good and does good: teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. Psalm 119:65-72
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O thou great Jehovah, according to thy word. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good and does good: teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. I never worry about the gossip or lies of the wicked, because I delight in the law of the Lord. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. Therefore, I will worship thee forever.
#Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words. I entreated thy favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. I thought on my ways and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste and delayed not to keep thy commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me, but I have not forgotten thy law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. I am a companion of all them that fear thee and of them, that keep thy precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. Psalm 119:57-64
Thou art my portion, O thou great Jehovah: I have said that I would keep thy words. Then the Psalmist says: I thought on my ways and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. The prodigal son said this in the pig pen, that I shall return to my father's house. It is apparent that we must meditate on scripture to keep thy statutes. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Jehovah because of his righteous judgments. I am a companion of them that fear thee and of them, that keep thy precepts. The earth, O thou great Jehovah is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. We must humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord so that he can teach us his statutes in the night season.
#Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I have not declined from thy law. I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD and have comforted myself. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Thy statutes have been my songsinthehouseofmypilgramage. I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night and have kept thy law. This I had because I kept thy precepts. Psalm 119:49-56
I continue to hope and wait upon Jehovah these almost three years I have been separated from my wife. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me. Though the proud have had me greatly in derision. Yet I have not declined from thy law. I remembered thy judgments of old, O thou great Jehovah and have comforted myself. Horror hath taken hold of me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Thy statutes have been my songsinthehouseofmypilgramage. I have remembered thy name, O thou great Jehovah, in the night and have kept thy law. So you too can be victorious, just wait only on the Lord.
#Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever? And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved and I will meditate in thy statutes. Psalm 119:41-48
Let thy mercies O thou great Jehovah come also unto me, even thy salvation according to thy word. For I have hoped in thy judgments. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. Twice the Psalmist uses this phrase "which I have loved" for we must love the commandments of Jehovah so much to utterly say this twice also. Happy are those that keep the commandments of Jehovah God and I will meditate in thy statutes. Have a happy Lord's Day everyone.
#Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanities and quicken thou me in thy way. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good. Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. Psalm 119:33-40
Jehovah shall teach me the way of thy statutes and I shall keep it unto the end. He shall give me understanding and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanities and revive thou me in thy way. The Psalmist has learned the vanity of his eyes beholding vanity and needs to be revived in his soul to keep thy commandments. Then he wants to turn away my reproach which I fear. For perfect love cast out fear. I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
#My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. I have declared my ways and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. Remove from me the way of lying and grant me thy law graciously. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. Psalm 119:25-32
My soul cleaves unto the dust: Jehovah shall quicken me according to thy word. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so that I shall talk of thy wondrous works. I am melteth for heaviness in my soul: strengthen thou me according to the word O Lord. Remove from me the way of lying and grant me thy law graciously. O Jehovah, put me not to shame so that I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. God will guide my steps in the way of truth and I shall not be guilty of the great sin. So submit thy way unto him and the Lord shall guide thy pathway.
#Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. Princes also did sit and speak against me, but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. Psalm 119:17-24
I thank my God that he has dealt bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Happy are those that love thy law and my soul breaks for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Therefore thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
#With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. Psalm 119:10-16
O Jehovah, with my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Therefore, the Psalmist says Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. It is important that we put these verses to memory in times of temptation, so that no iniquity will have dominion over us. As young people we must fight against lust, that wars against our soul. The Lord has allowed all temptations that come to us to be common unto us, and God is faithful, that he will not allow us to be tempted beyond our control so that we may bear it. Then with the temptation he allows us a way to escape. That is why we must meditate and hide the word in our hearts, so the Holy Spirit will bring it to our mind at just the right time. May God bless you my blessed children to do these things so that you will be victorious over temptation.
#Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalm 119:1-9
Happy are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the Law of Jehovah. Happy are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. O Lord, early will I seek thee, with my whole heart, let me not go astray, but let me cry out to thee, save me O thou great Jehovah. O that my ways were directed to keep all thy statutes. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. My father taught this passage at Church, fortifying the young. How thankful that I was blessed at an early age to hear the word of God and I learned to hide it in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
#This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused has become the headstone of the corner. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Psalm 118:20-29
This is the gate of Jehovah, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused has become the headstone of the corner. This is the Lord Jesus Christ, the chief Cornerstone, that the builders rejected. He is Lord and has become our salvation. Blessed be he that comes in the name of Jehovah: we have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah. Thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.
