A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #And great earthquakes shall be in divers places and famines, and pestilences, and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Luke 21:11

As California is being rocked with great earthquakes of 7.1 on the ricter scale all these are signs that the second coming of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ is imminent. There will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven, as well as on earth the sea and the waves will be roaring. The meteorological weather patterns will be changing. The Hubal Telescope is out in space taking pictures of the fearful sights in the heavens. All these events tell us that we should look up, for our redemption draweth nigh. In the twinkling of an eye we will be caught up to be with the Lord and so shall we ever be with Him.

  • #My soul fainteth for thy salvation, but I hope in thy word. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying when wilt thou comfort me? For I have become like a bottle in the smoke: yet do I not forsake thy statutes. How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou executes judgment on them that persecute me? The proud have dug pits for me, which are not after thy law. All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully: help thou me. They almost consumed me upon the earth, but I forsook not thy precepts. Quicken me after thy lovingkindness: so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth. Psalm 119:81-88

My soul faints for thy salvation, but I hope in thy word Lord. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying when wilt thou comfort me? O Lord, I have become like a bottle in the smoke: yet do I not forsake thy statutes. How many are the days of thy servant? This question was answered in Psalm 90 yet we long for eternity to be with the Lord forever. The proud have dug pits for me which are not after thy law. Thank God that whoever digs a pit will fall into it. They persecute me wrongfully, help thou me. They almost consumed me upon the earth, but I forsook not thy precepts. Revive me after thy lovingkindness O Lord my God. So shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth? Thank you, Lord, for not turning me over to the desire of the wicked, for I have loved thy commandments and forsake not thy law.

  • #Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments. They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word. I know, O LORD, that thy judgment is right and thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort. according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without cause, but I will meditate in thy precepts. Let those that fear turn unto me and those that have known thy testimonies. Psalm 119:73-79

The judgments of Jehovah are right and thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. So thank God that he afflicts us so that we will turn unto his statutes. So that his merciful kindness is our comfort according to thy word unto thy servant. Let all those that fear thee turn unto me and those that have known thy testimonies. Praise God for his goodness and his merciful kindness unto his servant.

  • #If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land. IIChron. 7:14

As we prepare to celebrate the Independence of America, let us proclaim a total dependence on God by praying, and seeking his face, and turning from our wicked ways. Then God will bless America by forgiving our sins, hearing our prayer, and healing our land. May God bless America.

  • #Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandment. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good and does good: teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. Psalm 119:65-72

Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O thou great Jehovah, according to thy word. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good and does good: teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. I never worry about the gossip or lies of the wicked, because I delight in the law of the Lord. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver. Therefore, I will worship thee forever.

  • #Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words. I entreated thy favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. I thought on my ways and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste and delayed not to keep thy commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me, but I have not forgotten thy law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. I am a companion of all them that fear thee and of them, that keep thy precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. Psalm 119:57-64

Thou art my portion, O thou great Jehovah: I have said that I would keep thy words. Then the Psalmist says: I thought on my ways and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. The prodigal son said this in the pig pen, that I shall return to my father's house. It is apparent that we must meditate on scripture to keep thy statutes. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Jehovah because of his righteous judgments. I am a companion of them that fear thee and of them, that keep thy precepts.  The earth, O thou great Jehovah is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. We must humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord so that he can teach us his statutes in the night season.

  • #Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I have not declined from thy law. I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD and have comforted myself. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Thy statutes have been my songsinthehouseofmypilgramage. I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night and have kept thy law. This I had because I kept thy precepts. Psalm 119:49-56

I continue to hope and wait upon Jehovah these almost three years I have been separated from my wife. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me. Though the proud have had me greatly in derision. Yet I have not declined from thy law. I remembered thy judgments of old, O thou great Jehovah and have comforted myself. Horror hath taken hold of me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. Thy statutes have been my songsinthehouseofmypilgramage. I have remembered thy name, O thou great Jehovah, in the night and have kept thy law. So you too can be victorious, just wait only on the Lord.

  • #Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever? And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved and I will meditate in thy statutes. Psalm 119:41-48

Let thy mercies O thou great Jehovah come also unto me, even thy salvation according to thy word. For I have hoped in thy judgments. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. Twice the Psalmist uses this phrase "which I have loved" for we must love the commandments of Jehovah so much to utterly say this twice also. Happy are those that keep the commandments of Jehovah God and I will meditate in thy statutes. Have a happy Lord's Day everyone.

  • #Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanities and quicken thou me in thy way. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good. Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. Psalm 119:33-40

Jehovah shall teach me the way of thy statutes and I shall keep it unto the end. He shall give me understanding and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanities and revive thou me in thy way. The Psalmist has learned the vanity of his eyes beholding vanity and needs to be revived in his soul to keep thy commandments.  Then he wants to turn away my reproach which I fear. For perfect love cast out fear. I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.

  • #My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. I have declared my ways and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. Remove from me the way of lying and grant me thy law graciously. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. Psalm 119:25-32

My soul cleaves unto the dust: Jehovah shall quicken me according to thy word. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so that I shall talk of thy wondrous works. I am melteth for heaviness in my soul: strengthen thou me according to the word O Lord. Remove from me the way of lying and grant me thy law graciously. O Jehovah, put me not to shame so that I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. God will guide my steps in the way of truth and I shall not be guilty of the great sin. So submit thy way unto him and the Lord shall guide thy pathway.
