A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul and me of Apollos and me of Cephas and me of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius. Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. I Cor. 1:12-15

The Church in Corinth is very carnal as some were followers of Paul, while others Apollos, and others Cephas, and others of Christ. Then they were confused about baptism as some were saying they were baptized of Paul. So it was Paul who corrected them for God is not the author of confusion, and he thanked God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius. We are saved by placing our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and not baptism. As baptism is an outward sign of your faith in Christ and being dead to sin.

  • #God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I beseech you, brethren by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye speak the same thing and there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. I Cor. 1:9-11

Let brother love reign among you and speak the same thing with no divisions among you, but be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment. Paul is concerned about the household of Chloe that there are contentions among you. Be ye kind, tenderhearted and forgiving even as Christ has forgiven thee. When we do this then there will not be contentions or divisions among you.

  • #Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God and Sosthenes our brother, Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace be unto you and peace, from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor. 1:1-8

This epistle is one of fourteen in the New Testament that Paul wrote and it is to a church that was carnal, full of lawsuits. So this is why he is seeking to strengthen the church in Jesus Christ so that they would be blameless at the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ's coming. It was the goal to enrich the saints in Christ, in all utterance, and in all knowledge: So I challenge you to put on your Stacy Adams shoes and run with us in the scriptures so that we too may be made complete in him.

  • #Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 150:1-6

Praise ye Jehovah in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts and according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him with timbrel and dance and praise him forevermore. Let everything that hath breath praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah God, for he alone, is worthy of all our praises.

  • #Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand. To execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron: To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 149:5-9

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand. To execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishment upon the people. To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye Jehovah God, for he alone, is worthy of all our praises.

  • #Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Psalm 149:1-4

Praise ye Jehovah. Sing unto Jehovah a new song and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Jehovah takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Pray for those in the path of Hurrican Dorian.

  • #Fire and hail; snow and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word: Mountains and hills; fruitful trees and all cedars: Beast and all cattle; creeping things and flying fowl: Kings of the earth and all people; princes and all judges of the earth: Both young men and maidens; old men and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 148:8-14

Meteorology praises God, like the fire and hail; snow and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word. Kings of the earth and all people; princes and all people; princes and all judges of the earth: both young men and maidens: old men and children: let them praise Jehovah God: for his name alone is excellent: his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of his saints; even the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye Jehovah, for he alone, is worthy of all our praises.

  • #Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded and they were created. He hath also stablished them forever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps. Psalm 148:1-7

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise him ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for he commanded and they were created. Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps. As we celebrate this Labor Day, let us labor to love one another just as God has loved us.

  • #The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee. He maketh peace in thy borders and filleth thee with the finest of wheat. He sendeth forth his commandment upon the earth: his word runneth very swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters flow. He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 147:11-20

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom and God takes pleasure in those that fear him, in those that hope in mercy. Praise Jehovah, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. Thank God for the winter that follows the fall and he casts his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? Thank God for the spring and the summer that follows a cold winter. Praise ye Jehovah. He shows his word unto Jacob and his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He loves Israel as the apple of his eye, for he has not dealt so with any nation and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Whom the Lord loves he chastens. So thank God that he loves us so much that he will not allow us to live in sin. Be ye holy, as God is holy.

  • #Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant and praise is comely. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars: he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord and of great power: his understanding is infinite. The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. He giveth to the beast his food and to the young ravens which cry. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. Psalm 147:1-10

O praise ye Jehovah, for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant and praise is beautiful. Jehovah doth build up Jerusalem: he gathers the outcasts of Israel. He tells the number of stars: he calls them all by their names. Great is our Antonia and of great power: his understanding is infinite. Jehovah lifts up the meek. He casts the wicked down to the ground. Sing unto Jehovah with thanksgiving: sing praise upon the harp unto our God. What a mighty God we serve, who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.
