Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. II Cor. 5:18-21

God hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and has committed the ministry of reconciliation to us. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save them. Now he has not imputed their trespasses unto them and has committed us unto the word of reconciliation. God hath made Christ be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Now, therefore, brethren walk in the Spirit so that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  • #Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. II Cor. 5:16-17

We do not know Christ after the flesh because He has entered into Heaven where he is interceding for us at the Right Hand of the Father. Now if any man is in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things have become new. This is the Magna Carter of Christianity and that a believer is a new person in the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what your past life was. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. Now we are baptized into Christ and have been given this ministry of reconciliation.

  • #For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance and not in heart. For whether we be beside ourselves, it is God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then all were dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them and rose again. II Cor. 5:12-15

We do not commend ourselves again unto you, but we give you occasion to glory on our behalf, so that you can answer those that glory in appearance and not in heart. Therefore, be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. For the love of Christ constraineth us, because we judge that if one died for all, then all were dead. Hence we should not live unto ourselves, but unto him which died for them and rose again. This is how we show the love of God in our hearts.

  • #For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God and I trust also manifest in your consciences. II Cor. 5:10-11

Since we will all appear, Christians, before the Judgment Seat of Christ we labor to be accepted of him and we will answer for the things done in the body, be they good or bad. Therefore, knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God. I trust also that we are made manifest in your consciences for Christ's sake. So take every opportunity to do good, especially to those of the household of faith.

  • #Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say and willing rather be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. II Cor.5:5-8

It is God who has made us for this purpose to be present with him in heaven. For therefore we are always confident, knowing that whilst we are home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ( For we walk by faith, not by sight ) Knowing that we would rather be absent from the body and present with the Lord. Nevertheless, to live is Christ and to die gain. So we labor so that when we are called home, he will say well done good and faithful servant. Thou has been faithful in a few things and I will make you a ruler in my kingdom.

  • #For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up in life. II Cor. 5:1-4

We thank God that he has a heavenly house for us when our earthly tabernacle is dissolved not made with hands eternal in the heavens. Therefore we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed up with our heavenly home so that we would not be found naked or without a body. When we die, we are ushered into the presence of God. Absent from the body and present with the Lord. For to live is Christ and to die is gain. So we would rather be absent from the body and present with the Lord. Now our mortality is swallowed up in life. O death where is thy sting? for the sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. Thanks are unto Jesus who gives us the victory.

  • #Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. I John 5:21

John is warning the Church to keep ourselves from idols. We are living in a world of idols and we have to keep our eyes on Jesus. The world is celebrating Ground Hog Day and the SuperBowl with parties, drinking, and gambling. We must be in the world without being apart of the world. Jesus despised the Cross, endured the shame and now He is seated at the right hand of the Father. Let us look to Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith. So little children keep yourselves from idols by looking to Jesus. May God bless you richly my Beloved.

  • #For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Cor. 4:17-18

We are experiencing light afflictions, which is but for a moment, working for us a far exceeding and eternal weight of glory. So we thank God for this truth, therefore we look not at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal in heaven above. Eye hath not seen, neither hath it entered into the heart of man the good things which God has for those who love him. So set your affections on things above into the heavens, where Jesus is who will one day take us to be with him forever.

  • #For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. II Cor. 4:15-16

Thank God for all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might be to the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. Therefore which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is made new day by day to the glory of God. We will not faint for our bodies are perishing but the inner man is made new in Christ Jesus day by day, so fix your eyes on Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith.

  • #For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We had the same spirit of faith, according to as it is written, I believed and therefore have spoken; we also believe and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus and shall present us with you. II Cor. 4:11-14

I thank my God for you in Jesus Christ that death worketh in us and life in you. I believed and therefore have spoken to God, knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus. Then he shall present us with you on that great day and I just want to lift up Bessie Prickett before the throne of grace, as she has helped me with her prayers.
