A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. II Cor. 4:15-16
Thank God for all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might be to the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. Therefore which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is made new day by day to the glory of God. We will not faint for our bodies are perishing but the inner man is made new in Christ Jesus day by day, so fix your eyes on Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith.
#For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We had the same spirit of faith, according to as it is written, I believed and therefore have spoken; we also believe and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus and shall present us with you. II Cor. 4:11-14
I thank my God for you in Jesus Christ that death worketh in us and life in you. I believed and therefore have spoken to God, knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus. Then he shall present us with you on that great day and I just want to lift up Bessie Prickett before the throne of grace, as she has helped me with her prayers.
#But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. II Cor. 4:7-10
We have the treasure of God in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not us. We are troubled on every point, yet we are not broken or distressed. We are perplexed but not without hope; We are persecuted but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed. We always bear in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that his life might be made manifest in our body. Lord help me to know my end, that I may number my days in wisdom. For our life is a vapor which is here today and gone tomorrow. So let us say if the Lord wills, we will go into this city. For we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that we may answer for the things done in the body, be they good or bad.
#But if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. II Cor. 4:3-5
Satan is the god of this world who blinds the eyes of those who are lost lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Therefore we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. Let us continue to lift up the Bryant family in the death of Kobe Bryant. For our, God is the God of all comfort and He comforts us in all our troubles.
#Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not: But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. II Cor. 4:1-2
We have this ministry by the mercy of God, and therefore we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, handling the word of God deceitfully. We speak the truth of God in love by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. So we do this by the power of the Holy Spirit and living for Jesus Christ.
#But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Cor. 3:18
We are in the process of being changed by the Holy Spirit into the image of Christ, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord and are being done from glory to glory. Thank the Lord that he is patient with us and we have to be patient with ourselves. In the end, we will look just like Jesus when Christ comes back for his glorious church without a spot is a blemish. We have much to look forward to for every day we become more like Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
#But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless, when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. II Cor. 3:15-17
Jesus has done away with the vail and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty. We have complete perfect Liberty in Jesus Christ and we can read the old testament with joy as well as Liberty. Thank the Lord for this freedom that we have in the Holy Spirit.
#Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. II Cor.3:12-14
Jesus Christ took away the veil of the old testament when he died upon the Cross and fulfilled all the prophecies that were written about him. Now we do not have to cover our faces when we read the old testament as the vail is done away with in Christ. The children of Israel are mostly blinded to this until they accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
#For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. II Cor.3:10-11
The law was glorious, but now it is not what remaineth. For that which remains is grace and it is more glorious. The Law condemned all sinners but the Law came by Moses but Grace and Truth came by Jesus and it remains, thus it is far more glorious. Jesus is the truth that sets us free and we manifest the fruits of the spirit to evidence our liberty in Christ.
#But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation is glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. II Cor.3:7-9
The Law was engraved in stones and condemned all as sinners and worthy of death. So the children of Israel could not behold the face of Moses because of the veil over it. In Jesus Christ, the ministration of righteousness exceeds in glory and does away with the veil of Moses in the Law. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech.
