A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:3
The blessed hope of the epiphany of the Lord Jesus Christ purifies us as we are pure by the blood of Jesus and through prayer. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in sanctification as we read the word of God the Spirit interprets that word to our spirit by making us more like Jesus every day. Paul said he would receive the crown of righteousness and all those also who love the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even so, come for us Lord Jesus, and take us away to be with you in glory. As we wait on the Lord to come for us, we must continue to share the love of Jesus to a hurting world suffering from the coronavirus pandemic. There is hope in the midst of our suffering as Jesus will soon come to take us to heaven where there will be no more weeping, or dying for the former things will be passed away and Jesus will wipe away all our tears of our loved ones who died and are now resurrected. What a glorious day that will be when my Jesus I will see, that will be heaven to me.
#Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be but we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2
As ineffable as it may be, we are the beloved sons of God and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him; cause we shall see Jesus Christ as He is. What a promise for all of us who look forward to the coming of the Lord, whether we wake or sleep, Jesus Christ will come in the epiphany to take us to heaven where He is. This is the blessed hope of the church that purifies us, even as we are pure. Jesus saves and we have a message to preach to the nations that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes unto the Father but by Him. There are not many ways to heaven, but one way through Jesus Christ the only begotten of the Father.
#Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. 1 John 3:1
Thank God that we are loved by the Father, O how He loves us that we are called to be sons of God and because of that the world knows us not because it knew Him not. This is agape love in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us and adopted us as sons of God. So the world hated Him and they will hate us. Nevertheless, we are the beloved sons of God and that is generically speaking in that daughters of God as well.
#If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1 John 2:29
The apostle John uses if ye know that He is righteous, speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ, ye know that everyone that does righteousness is born of Him. This is the epidemy of Christianity as Jesus told Nicodemus ye must be born again and the evidence of that is the fruits of the Spirit working in our lives. Righteousness is a by-product of Christ and those who are walking in the Spirit.
#And now little children, abide in him that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 1 John 2:28
The apostle John tells the Christians to abide in Jesus so that when he appears in the epiphany to call his children home we will not be ashamed before him at his coming. So how do we do that? The anointing of the Holy Spirit allows us to live a spirit-filled life pleasing the Father in all we do and by loving our neighbors. We must put away racism and love unconditionally everyone. This is what we call agape love which is the fulfillment of the law
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you and ye need not that any man teach you but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things and is true and is no lie and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27
The Holy Spirit gives you the anointing and you must abide in Christ Jesus the Lord, as He teaches you all things and is true. There is no lie of the truth, therefore abide in Him. It is through the anointing that we have the power to overcome sin.
#These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 1 John 2:26
The apostle John is reminding the believers of the importance of not allowing the antichrists and false teachers to seduce them away from the true faith of God. That is why we must abide in Christ and His word must remain in our hearts so that we have the shield of faith to protect us from these seducers. The Holy Spirit will keep us from those seducers by warning us to not heed the teachings of the seducers. So thank God for being an encourager to others who have been captivated by the false teachers. The word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our pathway to keep us from these antichrists. So let his light shine in your hearts as you walk along the way speaking to others the true oracles of Christ Jesus the Lord.
#And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John 2:25
Almighty God has promised us even eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ. He that has the Son has eternal life. Hereby know we have passed from death to life when we love the brethren. Love is the fulfillment of the law and love does not do evil to his neighbor. Beloved let us love one another according to the promise that we have in Jesus Christ and love keeps no record of wrongs. So it is time to throw away the record books and love thy neighbor as thyself.
#Let that, therefore, abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 1 John 2:24
The apostle John is encouraging the Christians by telling them to abide in the faith that was given to them at the beginning which ye have heard and you will continue in the Son and the Father. We believe in the resurrection as Jesus died on the Cross for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day. These are the tenents of our faith that we must believe in this is where all our hope stands.
#Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:23
The apostle John is teaching us to prove that we have the Son by not denying Him but that when we acknowledge Him and the same hath the Father. God is light and there is no darkness in Him at all. So you must repent of all known sins in your life which are to change your mind about Jesus the Son. The parenthesis around but is there because the translators wanted us to know the importance of confessing Jesus the Son of God so that we can have fellowship with the Father. If you deny Jesus, then you do not have the Father because Jesus is the only Mediator that we have with the Father. So if you are ashamed of Jesus, then God the Father will be ashamed of you. Therefore confess Jesus before men so that they will see your good works and glorify our Father in heaven.
