A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one. 1 John 5:7
Passion week is all because of the record in heaven, of the Father sending the Word, the logos to die on the cross for our sins, and the Holy Spirit raised the logos from the grave the third day. We would not have the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ without the trinity. I thank God for loving us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross. So share this good news with a lost world so they can have hope in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic and they too can have the blessed hope of the resurrection. Then have a foot washing service, just as Jesus did for the disciples before via de la rosa, the way of suffering. As the disciples were concerned about who would be the greatest, Jesus demonstrated that the greatest of all is the servant of all. Jesus was faithful to the Father and humbled Himself to the death of the cross. In the Garden of Gethsemane He said: Father if it is possible to let this cup pass from me, then the Father was silent, and the Lord Jesus said: nevertheless, not my will but thine be done. The Holy Spirit gave Him the strength to endure the cross, despising the shame, and now He is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
#This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth. 1 John 5:6
Jesus Christ is He that came by water and blood, not by water only but by water and blood. That is why John the Baptist said: Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is truth and He takes the things of Christ and makes them real to us. So as we celebrate passion week we look at the pathway Jesus took to go to the cross to purge us of our sin, by saying the Son of man did not come to be served, but to be the Ransome for all mankind. Now we too must serve and lay down our lives for our brethren. So in this pandemic look for ways to serve your brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering from isolation. We are not alone, for the Holy Spirit is our Paraclete who comes beside us and comforts us in our isolation. Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you, I am with you always even to the end of the world.
#Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5
We are seeing a rise in Satanic worship and cults so beware if anyone denies Jesus Christ as being the Son of God, then this is the spirit of anti-christ. If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God then you are a son of God by faith in Jesus Christ. This is our victory over this world even our faith. As we get closer to the coming of the Lord the mystery of iniquity will be at work in the children of disobedience. It is time to put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against all the wiles of the devil. Remember that bad communications corrupt good character, so pick your friends wisely and know what they believe. It is important not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. The apostle John warns little children to keep themselves from idols and we do this by not worshipping people. God is a jealous God and we must not provoke God to jealousy by having idols in our lives. Worship the Lord and Him only shall we serve.
#For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4
As we celebrate passion week we look to Jesus and His pathway to the cross, which paved the way for our new birth. Just as Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again and this is the mystery that whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world and this is our victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, the bronze serpent is a picture of Jesus being lifted up on the cross. Jesus said if I am lifted up I will draw all men unto me. This is the passion of Christ as Jesus entered Jerusalem the children cried out Hosanna in the Highest and the disciples told the children to be quiet, then Jesus said if these will not cry out the very rocks will cry out. This is the apostolic doctrine that we are studying as we remember the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
#For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3
The love of God is completed in us when we keep His commandments and His commandments are not grievous. Therefore let us love one another. A preacher used the sermon title " Love One Another" for seven straight Sundays and the congregation asked when will you stop preaching on this topic? The preacher responded: when Y'all start doing it. It is true we must love one another and it is not grievous for if we have been born of God, then loving one another should be natural for us. May God convict us of sin, and cause us to hate the sin while loving the sinner. Love God first because He first loved us and love one another.
#By this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep His commandments.1 John 5:2
We know as children of God that when we love one another and keep the commandments of God we are walking in the Light as He is in the Light. With all of the murders taking place we need more love in the world. We as Christians are the light of the world and we must let our lights shine so that men can see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. It is time to provoke one another to love and good works by keeping the commandments of God.
#Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and every one that loveth him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him. 1 John 5:1
When you believe that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone that loves Him that begat, God the Father, loves Him that is begotten, Jesus Christ the Son. This is the evidence that you have been born again of the Holy Spirit. This is the faith that is our victory over this world and this faith comes from believing the Word of God. So if you lack faith then faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Therefore it is imperative that you spend time reading and meditating on the Word of God daily to increase your faith. This is how we know that we are the children of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
#And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God loves his brother also. 1 John 4:21
Jesus said in John 13 a new commandment give I unto you that you love one another as I have loved you. It is time to stop discriminating against people with disabilities, as I have a mental illness disability and it is a stigma to many people. God loves all of us and we must love our brother, even if he has a disability. Love must be without dissimulations and favoritism. Anyone can love normal people, but we must learn to love people with disabilities. The Americans with Disabilities Act requires that we do this in the business world, now it is time for churches to stop hiding behind the ministerial exemption claim. No one asks to have disabilities and we can live with them once we make reasonable accommodations for the people with them.
#If a man says I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1 John 4:20
It is impossible to love God when you hate your brother. If you say you love God whom you have not seen while you hate your brother whom you have seen, then you are a liar. No liar has eternal life, so you need to repent of this sin, and pray to God to create in me a clean heart, and renew a steadfast spirit in thee. God is love and if you have been born again then you will love just as God loves us, and sent His Son as our substitute to die on the cross for our sins. It is time to end the hate and love your brother by doing good to him. So if your brother is in need and you have what he needs, then give it to him for those things that he needs. Christ came into this world to save us from our sins by His death on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead the third day for our justification. Tell the truth, for the truth, will set you free.

We love God because He first loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Now we are accepted in the beloved and have that agape love one for another. As we prepare to celebrate Resurrection Sunday let us seek to lift our brothers and sisters in this coronavirus pandemic. It has been over a year that we have been isolated from our loved ones and with the United States vaccinating most of its citizens, it is only a matter of time before we can get herd immunity. We pray that we can come out of isolation and fellowship face to face again as love demands.
