A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Acts 5:27-28
The Sanhedrin brought the apostles there in their midst and said did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? meaning the name of Jesus and we too must be ready to give an accounting before the authorities when they seek to silence us from preaching the Word of God. This pandemic has caused governments to close churches while allowing bars to remain open. I just voted in the local elections with propositions on the ballot to allow governments to restrict Americans from using their First Amendment rights and this is violating the Separation of Church and State. I thank God that in a Democracy we are allowed to voice our opinions at the polls when our rights as American citizens are being challenged. So I encourage all of you to vote and do not take for granted the rights that you have or they may be taken away.
#Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple. Acts 5:25
The Religious leaders found out that the apostles who were put in prison are standing in the temple. What a mighty God we serve who is able to deliver us from the uttermost parts of the earth, as the angel of the Lord was sent by God to deliver them from prison and transport them to the temple. So we too can be faithful to God to teach and preach His word of life where ever He will send us. It is therefore appointed unto stewards to be faithful in all that God has placed in our hands. We must use our time, talent, and treasures to the glory of God as well as the edification of the body of Christ.
#And when they heard that they entered into the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. Acts 5:21
After the angel of the Lord told the apostles what to do, they made hast early in the morning and taught the people. But the high priest and the Sanhedrin came, not knowing the angel of the Lord had delivered them called the senate, as well as the council together, then sent to the prison to have them brought. We see the power of God and His wisdom how the Lord protected the apostles by the angel of the Lord. Now we too can be bold to make hast do the will of the Lord by teaching the Word of God as the apostles did. For they had a duty to obey the voice of the Lord to teach all nations and baptize them in the Name of the Lord for the repentance of sins. Let us do likewise until the Lord comes again.
#And laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth and said, Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. Acts 5:18-20
The angel opened the prison door and brougth them forth saying go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of life. God has given us all the help we need so we must preach the word of God declaring the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the life that the angel is talking about.

Are you going to fight the Fed? with interest rates still low, and inflation nearing double digits the Federal Reserve Chairman insists inflation is transitory. Many people are angry just like the high priest and Sadducees were angry that all the people were being healed by the passing shadow of Peter. We need that same type of anointing that Peter had to live in these last days. Jesus said all these things are the beginnings of sorrows, but the end is not yet. When the black horse of the apocalypse comes inflation will be so bad that a loaf of bread will be a day's wages. So watch and pray that ye shall be counted worthy to escape the Day of the Lord when it comes. We are not of the night that the Day of the Lord should catch us unawares.
#And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. And of the rest durst, no man join himself to them but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Acts 5:12-14
There were many miracles being done by the hands of the apostles and many signs and wonders were wrought among the people according to the manuscripts. Such that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. This was the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon Peter such that people were being healed by his shadow passing by. So there came a multitude out of the cities round about Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and them that were vexed with unclean spirits and they were healed every one of them. Thank God that when we are anointed we can walk by the power of the Holy Spirit and see healings come all around us. I am thankful that my wife is working again overcoming the coronavirus symptoms and what a mighty God we serve who answers prayers of His saints.
#But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thy own? and after it was sold, was it not in thy own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thy heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down and gave up the ghost and great fear came on all them that heard these things. Acts 5:1-5
I John 5:16 If any man sees his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death? I do not say that he shall pray for it. This passage tells us there is a sin unto death that we can commit and this is what Ananias and Sapphira his wife committed by holding back part of the land price, then giving the rest to the apostles. Peter said to Ananais you have not lied to men, but unto God. What a warning this is to the Church today for God still judges sin and we must be careful not to commit the sin unto death. Ananias and his wife gave up the ghost because of lying to the Holy Ghost.
#And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas,( which is being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet, Acts 4:36,37
Son of consolation as the manuscript reads, Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed, Barnabas. He was a Levite of the country of Cyprus and had land, sold it then brought the money to the apostles' feet. This was truly an act of love and obedience to the scriptures. Jesus had told the rich young ruler to sell his property and give to the poor, then follow Him. Barnabas was obeying the words of our Lord Jesus and was called the son of consolation. How comforting it is when the rich help the poor, for it, will be harder for the rich to get into the kingdom for it was like going through the needle gate in the Temple. The camels had to be stripped and bow down to go through the gate. This was hard for the rich people to comprehend and was a warning to all not to hoard their riches. What a lesson for us in this present Church Age as there are more rich people in the Church than ever before and we are told to give abundantly. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Whosoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully, but whosoever sows sparingly shall reap sparingly. Give and it shall be given unto you shaken over and pressed together.
#Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: Acts 4:34,35
This was the most generous church as everyone that were possessors of lands or houses sold them and gave the money to the apostles at their feet to give so that none lacked anything. This is how God intended the church to operate in the fulness of the Holy Spirit giving of what they had so that everyone was provided for. As we get closer to the coming of the Lord the church will need to do these things. For we brought nothing into this world and we will take nothing with us except the souls of those won to Christ for a crown of rejoicing at the Judgment Seat of Christ. It is my prayer that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that you will do it now while there is time.
#And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33
The apostles were all filled with the Spirit and great power which allowed them to give witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This great grace was upon them all and it allowed them to turn the world upside down for Jesus. What a blessing and assurance that is to us for before the resurrection these men were timid as well as afraid. Now they have great power which proves that the Holy Spirit has descended upon them allowing them to bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We need to pray for that great power to be on us too as we witness to the resurrection. I thank the Lord for giving me this power too to bear witness to the resurrection and pray that my whole family will be used by God to turn people to Jesus Christ.
