A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#Who is gone into heaven and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto Him. 1 Peter 3:22
The Greek word for authorities is Exousia meaning power to act. From Exesti; privilege, I.e.(subjectively) force delegated by authority.1 Cor. 9:12 If others partake of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless, we have not used this power but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. Jesus submitted to the perfect will of God and suffered death on the cross. Now He is risen and seated at the right hand of God the Father He has all authority over the devil and his demons. We are joint heirs with Christ and have been given power over the devil and must keep him under our feet. We do this so that the gospel of Christ is not hindered. So walk in faith and victory because our names are written down in the Lamb's book in heaven.
#And they cried with a loud voice, How long, O Lord, Holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Revelation 6:10
The Greek word for avenge is Ekdikeo meaning to vindicate. God has said vengeance is mine, I shall repay. All the mysterious assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and others will be uncovered. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed. God will use 21 judgments to purge sin from the earth. He will send two witnesses who will have fire come out of their mouths on those who try to hurt them for three and a half years. Then God will let them be killed and for three days there will be a Christmas-like giving of gifts because these men tormented the earth with their preaching then God will resurrect them and a voice from heaven will say "Come up hither" and then they will be taken to heaven. Yes God does take vengeance and He is waiting until the full number of our brethren is complete before He does. So God puts a robe on them in heaven until Jesus returns to bring peace on earth as the Prince of Peace.
#The like figure whereunto even baptism with also now saves us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 1 Peter 3:21
The Greek word for resurrection is Anastasia meaning a standing up or a raising up. From Anistemi, standing up again, i.e. from death raised to life again. The scripture in parentheses was put there by the translators. We are saved when we are baptized by the Holy Spirit and not by water baptism. When we place our faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross we are saved. Just like the thief on the cross said Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom. He was baptized by the Spirit and will be in the first resurrection when Jesus comes again. This was the only deathbed conversion in the Bible. So just saying Lord be merciful to me a sinner will save you. Then in obedience to the scriptures get water baptized as an outward sign of your inner faith in Jesus Christ. Then if you die you will be in Paradise immediately with Jesus.
#Which sometimes were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is eight souls were saved by water. 1 Peter 3:20
The Greek word for longsuffering is. Makrothymia meaning patience. From the same as Makrothumus: longanimity, i.e. forbearance. James 5:10 Take. my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction and patience. God is merciful forever but His patience is not willing that any should perish, but that all will come to repentance. He saved Noah a preacher of righteousness and all eight souls on the Ark he built protecting them from the flood. The prophets such as Elijah were patient and preached and were caught up in the chariots of fire. Jesus said as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son of man returns in the clouds with the Saints and Holy angels, taking vengeance on those who obey not this gospel. So be patient as we suffer waiting for the Lord; we must occupy until He comes.
#By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 1 Peter 3:19
The Greek word for spirits is. Pneuma meaning wind. From Pneo; a current of air,i.e. Breath or the rational soul., etc., a demon Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels He saith, Who makes his angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire. Jesus when He died on the cross took captivity captive and preached to the demonic spirits in hell. He gave gifts to men and transferred Abraham's Bosom to Paradise. So now that is why on the cross He told the thief that said " Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom" this day shall you be with Me in Paradise.
#For Christ also hath once suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18
The Greek word for quickened. is Zoopoieo meaning to make alive. I Cor. 15:45 And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. This speaks of the Lord Jesus who redeemed us from the curse of sin and death by the first Adam. For in Christ all are made alive by faith in the shed blood at the cross. This is why Jesus suffered for us, the just for the unjust, bringing us to God. Jesus said no man takes my life, I lay it down willingly. He took it back by the power of the Holy Spirit. Now He is the resurrection and the life to all that believe.
#For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. 1 Peter 3:17
The Greek word for suffer is Pascho meaning to be acted on. Including Pentho a primary verb for passion and vex. Hebrews 2:18 For in that He Himself suffered being tempted. The Lord Jesus in His hypostatic union being very God and man preempted Himself of the prerogatives of Deity, and was tempted as we are and yet without sin. For He learned obedience by the things He suffered. Therefore, we too must learn obedience through suffering passionately, being evil spoken of, and not by not retaliation. When we do this God is pleased, for we are being like Jesus.
#Having a good conscience that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 1 Peter 3:16
The Greek word for conversation is Anastrophe meaning behavior or conduct. Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the Church of God and wasted it: When you have a mental illness you will hear voices telling you to do things that are not godly. In order to have a good conscious you must not obey those voices, but the Spirit of God telling you to do good. So that others who falsely accuse you will be ashamed of your good conduct in the Church. Paul had a thorn in the flesh and prayed to Jesus three times to take it away. Nevertheless, Jesus said my grace is sufficient. My strength is made perfect in my weakness. So take your medication and boast in the grace of God. Even if you have schizoeffective disorder the grace of God and the medication will see you through it all.
#But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3:15
The Greek word for meekness is Prautes meaning gentleness. From Praus; mildness, I.e. humility. This is one of the nine fruits of the Spirit. So set apart Jesus in your heart and with humility answer every man that asks you about your Christian faith. Do not engage in arguments. So Jesus told us not to cast our pearls among the swine. Therefore, if they will not accept you shake the dust off for a witness against them on the day of judgment.
#But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. 1 Peter 3:14
The Greek word for happy is Makarios meaning blessed. A prolonged form of the poetic maker supremely blest; by extension, fortunate, and well off. Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus preached the most excellent sermon on the Mount of Olives and used the same Greek word Makarios. That is why Peter used it for those who suffer for righteousness' sake, Happy are ye for as Jesus saith such is the kingdom of God. Jesus told us blessed are you when they persecute you for my name's sake. That is why we must not be afraid of their terror. Or be troubled. Therefore, seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you. Matt. 6:33
