A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

The Greek word for railing is Blasphemos; meaning slanderous or evil speaking. From a derivative of Blapto and Pheme; scurrilous, i.e. Calumnious (against men), or impious (against God). 1 Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor, and injurious but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. Angels who are greater in power and might dare not bring any slanderous accusations against the Lord. Paul, when he was Saul did it ignorantly, in unbelief, but obtained mercy from God. Be careful never to slander your brothers and sisters in the Lord; if you do, you are slandering God almighty. Refuse to engage in gossip, but speak the truth in love. For we must all stand before the Bema or Judgment Seat of Christ and we will have to answer for the things done in the body, good or bad after our salvation. Angels will be cast in the Lake of Fire for they know their judgment is sure, and are awaiting their sentence. Therefore, knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade all men everywhere to repent before Judgment. For unbelievers will all stand before the White Throne Judgment and anyone's name not found in the Lamb's book of life will be cast into the Lake of Fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

The Greek word for dignities is Doxa meaning opinion (always good in New Testament), praise, honor, and glory. Hebrews 3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house hath more honor than the house. This dignity is Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him that appointed Him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. We therefore must give glory and all the praise to the Lord Jesus Christ for He is the chief cornerstone on which the house is built. So avoid them that walk after the flesh in lust of uncleanness, and despise government. God created government to protect us from evildoers and we look forward to the day when the Government will be upon his shoulders. But Christ as a Son over His house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
#The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 2 Peter 2:9
The Greek word for punished is Kolazo; meaning to chastise. From Kolos (dwarf); properly, to curtail, i.e. (figuratively) to chastise (or reserve for infliction) Acts 4:21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. I praise God for giving me the victory over the HOA for denying me the option to paint my garage and replace rotten wood behind the gutters. I hired a Real Estate Attorney, Eric Days, and he amended the modification form that I submitted, and it was successful. I thank the Lord that when the righteous cry out to God for help, just as the disciples did when they were threatened for preaching the gospel, they glorified God for giving them the victory. There is a widow nurse whom an HOA has foreclosed on for fees that she fell behind in the pandemic. Now she needs our prayers to God to deliver her out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment to be punished. These HOAs steal people's properties for pennies and sell them for profits. This is unjust and must be stopped.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody and it is good to thank the Lord for His many blessings to usward. The Hebrew word for thanksgiving is Todah; meaning an extension of the hand, avowal, adoration, and a choir of worshippers. Our prayers go out to former President Jimmy Carter in the passing of the beloved First Lady Rosalynn Carter truly the Lord is good to have blessed them to be together all these many years and now she is home with the Lord. Let us give thanks to our loved ones, for we never know when the Lord will call us home. Let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving and give Him all the praises for the many blessings We look forward to that great day when we all get to. heaven, as the great hymn of the Church goes and sings the victory. Therefore, let us give thanks in all things for this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus.

The Greek word for vexed is Kataponeo; meaning to wear down. and oppress. From Kata and a derivative of Ponos; to labor down, i.e. Wear with toil (figuratively, harass) Acts 7:24 And seeing them suffer wrong, he defended him and avenged him that oppressed and smote the Egyptian. Moses was vexed with how the Egyptians were harassing the Jewish slaves, so he looked this way and that way and smote the Egyptians. This is the same way Peter is describing just Lot, as day after day he was harrassed by the filthy conversation of the wicked. The Lord knows how to deliver the righteous out of temptation. As with Moses, he was sent to the backside of the Midian desert to tend the sheep of his father-in-law. We are living in the same days as Lot and Noah, as Jesus said it would be just before His second coming. May we watch and pray as we await the glorious appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ to save us from the wrath to come.
#And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 2 Peter 2:6
The Greek word for ensample is Hypodeigma; meaning a figure, copy, or example;i; an exhibit for imitation or warning. Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. God in His holiness and justice will not wait forever before He judges the wicked but is longsuffering, not willing that any would perish and come to salvation. Yet He left Sodom and Gomorrha in ashes and condemned them with an overthrow as an example of what will happen to all those who fail to repent of their sins. So let us heed these things we have seen and heard, lest we should slip from our steadfastness at any time.

The Greek word for world is Kosmos meaning order, Probably from the base of Komizo; orderly arrangement, i.e. Decoration by implication, (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively) In Greek writings from Homer down an apt and harmonious arrangement or constitution. Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. The Greek word for the host is Tsaba; meaning a mass of persons, organized for, war, or a campaign. This speaks of the Antediluvian civilization before the flood. God called Noah the eight-person because there would be eight souls saved on the Ark. Noah, his wife, and three sons with their wives. Noah was a preacher of righteousness for he warned the world of things coming that had not been seen, and by faith condemned them for not believing. We are in a similar situation today as we warn the world of impending judgment and the great tribulation, and that there will be a Rapture of Christians who have believed the report. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So if you lack faith, then hear the Word of God and obey it, then you will be saved from the wrath to come upon this Christ-rejecting world. Who hath believed the report? And the Arm of the Lord will be delivered to them for so doing. Warn your friends and neighbors to repent and accept Jesus Christ and they will be saved from the Kosmos.
#For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 2 Peter 2:4
The Greek word for chains of darkness; is Zophos meaning deep gloom. Akin to the base of Nephos; gloom, blackness, (as shrouding like a cloud) a mist. Hebrews 12:18 For ye have not come unto the mount that might be touched and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, The angels that sinned with Lucifer, Satan, were cast into a place we call Tartarous, which is these chains of darkness and gloom of hell. There will be some released in the great tribulation. One such is Apollyon in Greek for a destroyer and the angel of the abyss. Satan will be thrown into the abyss in the Millennium falling for 1000 years, until he will be released to deceive the nations for a short period. Then he will be cast into the lake of Fire, with the antichrist and false prophet forever. Fallen angels are called demons and one-third of the angels that rebelled against God are with Satan and they will all perish in the lake of fire called hell. Mankind is the only one of God's creation that Jesus came to save by dying on the cross for our sins. The angels look upon this with amazement.
#And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingerth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2 Peter 2:3
The Greek word for feigned is Plastos meaning formed and molded. From Plasso; molded, i.e. (by implication) artificial or (figuratively) fictitious (false) Properly molded, formed as from clay, wax, or stone (Hesiod, Plato, Aristotle, Plutarch, and others used these words. We are seeing this manifested in our day, as Artificial intelligence is able to use these feigned words to guide people. We must research the truth and buy it and not sell it. For no truth is of a lie. Jesus warned us except our religion exceeded that of the Pharisees we would not enter the kingdom of God. Men would have a form of godliness, but denying the power. from such Paul, he has warned us to turn away. The foundation of the Lord stands sure, let every one who names the Lord Jesus to depart from iniquity. Job saith the Lord knows how I shall go, and when He is finished with me I shall be pure gold. In order to get all the rubbish out of gold, it must be heated in the furnace. Wax melts in the fire. Therefore, let us rejoice when we find ourselves in fiery temptations, knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience. Let patience have her finish work so that we will be complete.
#And many shall follow their pernicious ways; because of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2 Peter 2:2
The Greek word for pernicious is Apoleia meaning destruction or loss. From a presumed derivative of Apollumi; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal) damnable waste. Romans 9:22 What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering, the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction? Peter and Paul are talking about the patience of God in how He endured the pernicious ways of the Israelites, staying His wrath, by not making known His power, endured the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction. That is exactly what He is doing by waiting on this crooked and perverse generation to turn to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ before His wrath is reckoned. Let us draw near with a clean heart and offer the fruit of thanksgiving that is the lips of praise for His great longsuffering to usward. Therefore, do not follow the pernicious ways of those false teachers, but follow the way of true righteousness and holiness in faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
