Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD. Lamentations 3:65

The Hebrew word for anger is Anaph; the turning of the nostril in wrath. Jehovah God is angry with the wicked every day and He will vindicate His children in His wrath upon our enemies. God will destroy them in anger from under the heavens. Yet He is waiting for them to repent cause God takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked. We must pray for the salvation of our enemies. Many people are suffering from mental illness and are not taking their medications. Then when they hear those voices in paranoia they succumb to them and commit evil. It is very important to keep taking your medication, even when you feel better, and do not stop taking them. We hope the Mica Miller law will be passed by Congress to protect those with mental illness from involuntary commitment. She perhaps may not have committed suicide had this been passed in 2020. Our prayers go out for her husband Pastor John Paul Miller that he can overcome the grief of losing his beloved wife. God hates divorce and if the Church leaders had been trained in seminary on how to deal with mental illness, then this whole tragedy could have been avoided.

  • #Give them sorrow of heart,  thy curse unto them. Lamentations 3:65

The Hebrew word for sorrow is Meginnah; meaning a covering, blindness, or stubbornness. From Magan; a covering (in a bad sense) Magan means to shield, encompass with, and rescue, and hand safely over. Genesis 14:20 And blessed be the most High God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand, And he gave Him tithes of all. Abraham paid his tithes to the Lord after the Lord delivered all his enemies into his hands. This is what Jeremiah is praying for sorrow of heart and thy curse unto them. Jesus told us to pray for our enemies and to love those who would despitely use us. This is not easy, but God is glorified when we do it. Speak peace to your enemies for we are to be at peace with all men and to follow holiness, for without holiness no man will see the Lord. It is my prayer that you will as much as possible live in peace with those, even the members of our household.

  • #Render unto them a recompense, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. Lamentations 3:64

The Hebrew word for recompense is Gemul; meaning a treatment, an act of requital. From Gamal treatment, i.e. An act (of good or ill) by implication, benefit, or reward. Judges 9:16 Now therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands; God will reward our enemies according to the way they have dealt with us. So if you have the opportunity to do good, then do it, especially unto those of the household of faith.

  • #Behold their sitting down and rising; I am their musick. Lamentations 3:63

The Hebrew word for musick is Manginah; (mocking, derisive) song from Nagan; a satire, or music. The Hebrew word for Nagan means to touch or play a stringed instrument. A primitive root; properly, to thrum, i.e. Beat a tune with the fingers; To play on a stringed instrument, and sing to the stringed instruments, melody, minstrel 1 Samuel 16:16 Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on the harp. It shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand and thou shalt be well. Jeremiah is being mocked by the stringed instrument of satire or music, David was used by God to play the harp to comfort King Saul, when the evil spirit came upon him. Music is used in scripture to encourage us, Mentally ill people need music to calm their souls, which David was gifted to do. I thank God that music lulled me to sleep at night and I love to play the piano by ear. My Mom saw that I was gifted to play the piano by ear, and she ensured that the music I listened to was Christian hymns of the Church. Yet music can be used to mock, and that is what the enemies of Jeremiah were doing to him by mocking his God. We must sing hymns and make melodies in our hearts to the Lord God as an act of worship.

  • #The Lips of those that rose against me, and their device against me all day. Lamentations 3:62

The Hebrew word for device is Higgayon; meaning resounding music, meditation, or musing. Intensive from Hagah; a murmuring sound, i.e. A musical notation Psalm 92:4 For thou LORD, hast made me glad, through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O LORD, how great are thy works and God's thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed forever; Psalm 37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree, Yet he passed away, and lo he was not. Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; for the end of that man is peace. So do not be jealous of the prosperity of the wicked, for they shall be cut off in a moment. We must dwell in God's sanctuary and be comforted there.

  • #Fear ye, not Me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which has placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? Jeremiah 5:22

The Hebrew word for perpetual is Olam; meaning concealed, eternity, frequentatively, always. This is Meteorological summer and the beginning of Hurricane season in the Atlantic Sea, and we must fear the Lord Jehovah who has placed a perpetual boundary for the sea by degree. Though the waters will roar they are bound by the sands of the shore. This protects us from the roaring of the seas when hurricanes come ashore in the storm surge. Thank God that when the disciples were caught in a cyclone, Jesus was asleep in the boat, and they cried out Master, carest thou not that we perish? Jesus awoke and spoke "Peace be still" and the seas became calm. Then the disciples said what manner of man is this, that even the sea and the waves obey Him? Thank God that He will see us through this hurricane season. Let us be still and know that He is God, and shall be exalted among the heathens. Worry not about tomorrow, for sufficient are the troubles of today. God will give us just enough grace to get through today's storms.

  • #Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; Lamentations 3:81

The Hebrew word for imagination is Machashebeth meaning a contrivance, intention, or plan. Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Behold thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not and nations that know not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God and for the Holy One of Israel; for He hath glorified thee. Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and return unto the LORD and He will have mercy upon him and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

  • #Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. Lamentations 3:60 '

The Hebrew word for vengeance is Naqan; meaning avenge, revenge, whether the act of the passion. Judges 11:36 And she said unto him, My father if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.  And she said unto her father, let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows. And he said Go, and he sent her away two months and she went with her companions and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains. And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed. and she knew no man. And it was the custom in Israel. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and behold his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances, and she was his only child; beside her, he had neither son nor daughter. This is how Jeremiah feels toward the children of Israel. For vengeance is the Lord's He shall repay.

  • #O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. Lamentations 3:59

The Hebrew word for wrong is Avvathah; meaning to be deprived of justice. From Avath; meaning oppression Psalm 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause but I will meditate in thy precepts. Jesus told us how to pray in the model prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hollowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen. This is how we must pray and the Lord will reward us as we meditate on his precepts. Jeremiah has been confessing the sins of the people and interceding for them. Thank God that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us. God will right every wrong and judge my cause. Vengeance is for the Lord He shall repay. Therefore give place for wrath, be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

  • #O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. Lamentations 3:58

The Hebrew word for redeemed is Gaal; meaning act as kinsman. in any case, avenger, purchase. A primitive root, to redeem ( according to the Oriental law of kinship), i.e. To be the next of kin (and as such to buy back a relative's property, marry his widow, etc) Ruth 4:4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it besides thee; and I am after thee. And he said I will redeem it. Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise the name of the dead upon his inheritance. Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and changing, for to confirm all things, a man plucked off his shoe and gave it to his neighbor and this was the testimony in Israel. Thus Boaz became the kinsman redeemer for Ruth and is a type of Christ for us, our Kinsman redeemer, for dying on the cross for our sins. Jeremiah knows that Adoni has pleaded his causes of my soul, and redeemed my life. I pray you will accept Him today as your Personal Lord and Savior.
