Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #And behold, the angel that talked with me went forth and another angel went out to meet him, And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein. For, I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Zachariah 2:3-5

Happy Memorial Day! For thank God that just as Jehovah God was a wall of fire about Jerusalem and the glory in the midst of her, So shall He be for America. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. Let us thank God for the men and women who serve this great nation in the Armed Services, and pay tribute to them for their service. For no greater love can a man have than to lay down his life for his friends. Jesus laid down His life for us on the cross and said that the servant is no greater than the Master. Let us do likewise as we serve the Lord Jesus Christ

  • #Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Lamentations 3:56

Happy Memorial Weekend and give all veterans a hardy thank you for your service. Just know that we are free because many of them made the ultimate sacrifice. Our prayers are for Robert Hatton in hospice care. Jesus prayed for us in John 17:24 Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am: that they may behold My glory, which thou hast given Me: for thou lovedst Me before the foundations of the world. The Hebrew word Nephash for soul is where we go when Jesus calls us home. For to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. For this mortal must put on immortality, and this corruptible must put on eternal life, then shall come to pass we will take our last breath on earth and breathe eternal life in the presence of Jesus at the right hand of the Father where there will be pleasures forevermore. So pray for me also as my kidney disease is in the third stage and I have to get my A1C below 7 again, cause it is at 11 now which may lead to dialysis. May the Lord bless you richly my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • #I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. Lamentations 3:55

The Hebrew name for the LORD is Yhvh; meaning Jehovah, the proper name for the God of Israel. From Hayah; the self-existent or Eternal; Jehovah, the Jewish national name of God. Isaiah 33:11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you. Jehovah God is a consuming fire and He will conceive all the chaff, and stubble with His breath and devour you. Hear ye that are far off, what I have done and ye that are near, acknowledge my might. The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Jeremiah is in awe in the dungeon and calls upon the name of Jehovah God to save him. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of Jehovah. Let us call upon the Name of Jehovah God for He shall save us from all our enemies.

  • #Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off. Lamentations 3:54

The Hebrew word for waters is Mayim; meaning urine, or semen. Dual of a primitive noun (but used in a singular sense) figuratively, juice; by euphemism, piss, wasting, water ( flood, spring) Jeremiah 8:14 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves and let us enter the defense cities and we must be silent there: for the LORD our, God hath put us to silence and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD. We see Jeremiah confessing the sins of the people and that Jehovah God has silenced them because they have sinned against Jehovah God. This is the same gall that the Lord Jesus was given on the cross when He said I thirst. We are in a wasteful situation as many of us have repairs from the derecho that hit our homes in Katy, Texas. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord gives us the grace to overcome them. This poor man cried and the Lord delivered me from all my afflictions. The Lord knows how to silence us when we sin against Him. We must repent, change our direction, and turn our minds to Jesus.

  • #They have cut off my life in the dungeon and cast a stone upon me. Lamentations 3:53

The Hebrew word for dungeon is Bowr; meaning a pit, cistern, or well. From Buwr (in the sense of Bo'r) a pit hill (especially one used as a cistern or a prison) a fountain. Genesis 37:24 And they took him and cast him into a pit and the pit was empty, there was no water in it. This is what happened to Joseph, as his brothers were so jealous of him because their father Jacob had given him a coat of many colors, so they thought they could put him into the pit. The Bible tells us if you dig a pit for someone else, then you will land into it yourself. This is what happens to many of us who serve the Lord, we are falsely accused and thrown into a pit. Jeremiah feels this way as they have put him in a dungeon or cistern and cast a stone upon him. We must remember how the Lord rescued Joseph from the pit to poterpher's house, to the prison, and then to the palace. God knows how to turn all things together for our good, to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. So as the Psalmist said I will lift my eyes unto the hills from which my help comes, for my help comes from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.

  • #Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without a cause. Lamentations 3:52

The Hebrew word for chased is Tsud; To hunt; like  to lie alongside, to catch an animal. Genesis 27:5 And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake  to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it. I have been chased by a bird because I picked up a baby bird that fell out of the nest. This is what Jeremiah is feeling, just as Isaac felt when Esau found out he had been lied to, and chased Jacob.. Jacob's name meant trickster and he fooled Esau out of his birthright. We know Galations 6:7 Be not deceived God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. Let us speak truth to our neighbors and not lie on them causing them to lose their reputation in the business world. This is what scammers are doing to seniors like myself, and causing needless grief because of all the lies being told. May the Lord watch between me and thee while we are apart from one another.

  • #Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city. Lamentations 3:51

The Hebrew word for heart is Nephesh; meaning a soul, a living being. From Nephash; properly a breathing creature, i.e. Animal (abstractly) vitality used very widely in a literal accommodated or figurative sense. Ecclesiastes 4:2 Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive. Solomon praises the dead, more than the living for blessed is the day of death, more than the day of birth. For the Christian to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord which is far better. This is why Jeremiah is weeping so for he longs to be in the presence of the Lord where there is fullness of joy for evermore at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Our hearts go out to all the linemen working hard to restore the power for the heat wave is making it deadly to be without airconditioning. We should thank them for working so hard seven days a week. I pity those who die without having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, for when they die their soul goes to hades awaiting the final judgment at the Great White Throne Judgment where the books will be opened and all those whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be cast in the Lake of Fire, which is the second death. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thine house. Do not put off for tomorrow, for it is not guaranteed. Those who have the Son have life, but those who do not the wrath of God abides on them. God is not willing that any would perish but that all would come to repentance.

  • #Till the LORD looks down and beholds from heaven.  Lamentations 3:50

The Hebrew word for heaven is Shamayim; meaning the sky. Dual of an unused singular Shameh; perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve. The Bible talks about three heavens the first heaven is the sky and the second heaven is where the galaxies sun, moon, and stars are. The third heaven is where God is seated at the Lord Jesus's right hand of the Father. Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. The Hebrew word for firmament is Raqia; an extended surface or expanse of the sky. From Raga properly an expanse, i.e. which means to beat out or spread out. A primitive root, to pound the earth (as a sign of passion) by analogy to expand (by hammering) by implication to overlay (with thin sheets of metal) beat make broad, spread abroad. Luke 6:38 Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure pressed down and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. This is why Jeremiah is weeping for he knows God will repay him with tears of joy.

  • #Work hard and play smart

Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with the might: for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave,  whither thou goest Col. 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed" do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God and the Father by Him

1 We all are graveyard travelers so work hard and make all the riches that you can.

    2. Be smart about love and pray to God to always direct your pathway...

3 Do everything to the glory of God and He will bless you.
