A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia. Galatians 1:2
Galatia is a district in Asia Minor or a larger Roman province including this district as well as others. It took its names from those Gallic tribes that crossed into Asia Minor and after roaming about there for a time at length settled down permanently in the above mentioned region and intermarried with the Greeks. Josephus Antiquities provided this information. 2 Timothy 4:10 for Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world and is departed unto Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. So Paul had defections in the ministry, as Demas loved this present world, in the Greek Aion. From the same as Aei; properly an age, by extension, perpetuity (also past). Chronos in the Greek is that time. We are warned to love not this world, for all that is in the world the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, all these things are passing away, He that does the will of the Father will live forever and chronos will not bother you. Let us walk in the Spirit and we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
#Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father; who raised Him from the dead;)Galatians 1:1
The Greek word for apostle is Apostolos: a messenger sent on a mission by God. Having launched their Christian experience by faith, the Galatians seemed content but then charted a new course based on works. This is why Paul declared he was an apostle not by man, but by the Lord Jesus Christ, for it was on the Damascus road, where he came into contact with the risen Savior. as he was Saul persecuting the church. Jesus said unto him Saul why do you fight against the pricks? Why are you persecuting Me? Then Saul said who art thou Lord? I am Jesus, and immediately the sun shined so bright that it put out his eyes. Then Saul was sent to Ananias to receive his sight. Jesus told Saul to get on a straight street. We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not of works lest any man should boast. Now we are the Poemia of God which means we are Christ's workmanship, created to do good works. We do not work to earn our salvation, but to validate it. Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearance of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Saul had his name changed to Paul and he would later ask the Galatians have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Jesus is the embodiment of all truth and when we preach Jesus we will make enemies. but Jesus said if you are my disciples indeed, ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
#But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. Lamentations 5:22
The Hebrew word for wroth is Qatsaph; meaning to be angry. to crack off, burst out in rage. A primitive root. to crack off. i.e. (figuratively) burst out in rage. displease, fret self. (provoke to wrath. Genesis 41:10 Pharaoh was wroth with his servants and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker. Joseph has the gift of interpreting dreams, and God interprets them. So the butler is restored to the former position and the baker is hung, just as Joseph had interpreted. Two years later Pharaoh had another dream about the fat cows and the lean cows. Joseph told Pharaoh Jehovah God was going to bring seven years of prosperity and to store up in barns for the seven lean years. Joseph was promoted to second in command to Pharaoh for interpreting the dreams correctly. This is what Jeremiah is praying that the Lord will not reject Israel forever and will bless them as He did Joseph. The Bible tells us that a man's gift will make room for him. So give God the glory as Joseph did, for promotion comes neither from the East or the West, promotion comes from the Lord. Thank God we must never be weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a blessing if we faint not. Thus this is the end of the Lamentations of Jeremiah and we will be going to the book of Galatians.
#Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. Lamentations. 5:21
The Hebrew word for renew is Chadash; meaning to repair. to rebuild. A primitive root; to be new; causatively, to rebuild, Isaiah 61:4 And they shall build the old wastes, raise the former desolations and repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort them that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. *Isaiah 61:1-3 This is what Jeremiah is praying and weeping for.
#Wherefore dost thou forget us forever, and forsake us so long time? Lamentations 5:20
The Hebrew word for time is Yom; meaning day. From an unused root meaning to be hot; a day (as the warm hours) whether literal (from sunrise to sunset or from one sunset to the next) as at other times in trouble, weather, as when, within a whole age, full year. Hosea 6:2 After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us and we shall live in His sight. This is a prophetic verse on escatology. God will come again and revive the Jewish Nation of Israel. The Jews will be trodden down by the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end. Jesus will come riding on a cloud, and all those who pierced Him will see Him and mourn, for He is coming with great power to set up the kingdom of God, and He will rule with a rod of iron. Jeremiah is weeping for the Lord to go and set up His kingdom.
#Thou, O LORD, remainest forever; thy throne from generation to generation. Lamentations 5:19
The Hebrew word for generation is Dor; meaning period, a revolution of time, a dwelling. age, evermore, posterity. Dor (Duwr) properly a revolution of time, i.e. An age or generation; also a dwelling. Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before Me in this generation. Jehovah God dwells forever and His throne is from generation to generation. Time does not control Jehovah God, He moves outside of it Chronos is for man and his generation. As Noah was the only righteous man on the earth, and God saved him and his family in the ark. Jesus is the ark of safety for us, and if any man is in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, and all things have become new.
#Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. Lamentations 5:18
The Hebrew word for fox is Shual; perhaps a jackal—or shunal from the same as Shoal a jackal (as a burrower) fox. Song of Solomon 2:15 Take us the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Solomon is talking about the little foxes that ruin a marriage. Solomon knew a lot about these little foxes with all the wives that he had. Jeremiah is talking about the mountain of Zion which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. That is what foxes do, like a disabled spouse, the little foxes that spoil Zion. We need to pray that God will give us the strength to overcome the little foxes that creep up in marriage and remember we vowed for better and worse in sickness and health. When we say these vows in marriage we have no idea how better can be, or how worse and can be. We walk by faith and not by sight. Just pray to God that the foxes will not walk upon my marriage and that I will be faithful until death do we part.
#For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim. Lamentations 5:17
The Hebrew word for faint is Daveh; meaning unwell, menstruous cloth, she that is sick, having sickness. From Davah; sick (especially in menstruation) Isaiah 30:22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it. Get thee hence. This is what Jesus said every time He cast out demons. Jeremiah knows the Israelites have forsaken the true God, for broken cisterns that cannot hold water. Jesus is the living water that we need to have life. My eyesight is dim also and I stepped on a nail that has caused intense pain and will have to see a doctor to get antibiotics.
#The crown is fallen from our head: woe to us, that we have sinned.! Lamentations 5:16
The Hebrew word for crown is Atarah: a wreath from Atar; a crown. Song of Solomon 3:11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold King Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals and the day of his heart's gladness. King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines, so he knew a lot about espousals, and his mother, Bathsheba gave him a wreath for all of his espousals. It was that all of his foreign wives that turned his heart away from Jehovah God, and this is what Jeremiah is saying woe to us for we have sinned against the Lord and lost our crowns. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. It is time for America to repent of this divisiveness, for our nation has not been this divided since the Civil War. I pray that if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, then God will hear their prayers, forgive their sins, and heal their land.
#The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. Lamentations 5;15
The Hebrew word for mourning is Ebel; meaning lamentation. From Abal to lamentation 2 Samuel 11:7 And when Uriah has come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, how the people did, and how the war prospered. What a hypocrite King David is after he sent messengers and took Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, and she came unto him and he lay with her; And the woman conceived and sent and told David, and said I am with child. And David sent to Joab saying send me Uriah, the Hittite. If King David had confessed his sin to Uriah, he would have forgiven him, for Uriah was a honorable soldier. But David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the kings house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king. But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord and went not down to his house. Whoso covers his sin shall not prosper, but whosoever confesses and forsakes it shall find mercy. This is why joy has left the heart of Jeremiah and the people, as it left king David when he sinned against the Lord. Psalm 51 is written as a repentance of David for he said Lord restore unto me the joy of my salvation. When we sin joy is lost and dance is turned into mourning. O come and magnify the Lord with me, For the Lord is exalted and worthy of all our praises. David was a man after God's heart and yet he committed this great sin against God. When he prayed restore unto me a clean heart, renew a steadfast spirit in me, then his joy returned. This is a great lesson for us, and I pray that if you have sinned, to confess your sin to God, for He is faithful to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
