Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished O daughter of Zion; he will no longer carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom, and discover thy sins. Lamentations 4:22

The Hebrew word for punishment is Avon; meaning fault. Psalm 130:3 If thou. LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? The answer is no one. Thank God Jehovah and Adoni do not mark our sins, for He cast them as far as the east is from the west, and cast them into the depths of the oceans. No fishing is allowed, so do not try to search for them. When we forgive like that, there is mercy in the house of God. God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. What a mighty God we serve so as we prepare to celebrate the nation's independence from the British, let us declare our total dependence on the Lord God almighty. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Let us pray that our leaders return to the Lord and return the Ten Commandments to school. America was founded on the Judeo-Christian Faith. The First Amendment protects us in free speech and assembly and the separation of Church and State.

  • #Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken and make thyself naked. Lamentations 4:21

The Hebrew word for cup is Kowc; meaning a lot, or some unclean bird, an owl. (perhaps from the cup-like cavity of its eye) The Hebrew word for Uz is Uts; a son of Aram, also a son of Nahor, also an Edomite, also perhaps a district East of Palestine. these were the descendants of Esau, who sold his birthright to  Jacob. So this lot that passed to the daughter of Edom, was a type of judgment when she got drunk and made herself naked. Wine is a mocker, whosoever drinketh is foolish. Be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be ye filled with the Spirit. Uz was also the land of Job, and he was a blameless, and righteous man, when Satan was asked by God where he was going, he said up and down the earth. Then God said hast thou considered my servant Job? Then Satan said you have a heg around him for protection. What a blessing to know that when we live a righteous life, there is a heg around us protecting us from Satan. Job said the Lord knows the way I shall take and when He is finished with me I shall be pure gold.

  • #The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under the shadow, we shall live among the heathen. Lamentations 4:20

The Hebrew word anointed is Mashiach; meaning a consecrated person, the Messiah. From Mashach; Anointed; usually a consecrated person ( as a king, priest, or saint) specifically the Messiah 1 Samuel 24:7 So David stayed his servants with these words and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose out of the cave and went on his way. Yes, then David arose and cut off Saul's robe's skirt privily. And it came to pass afterward, that David"s heart smote him because he had cut off Saul's skirt. And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD. This is the same context that Jeremiah is speaking of Jehovah God taking the breath of our nostrils, the anointed the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said under the shadow we shall live among the heathen. Touch not thine anointed do His prophets no harm. We must respect the man that God has anointed.

  • #Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains and laid wait for us in the wilderness. Lamentations 4:19

The Hebrew word for eagles is Nesher; meaning an eagle. From an unused root meaning to Lacerate; the eagle (or other large bird of prey) Psalms 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. What a glorious promise from the Lord who satisfies our mouths with good things like the eagle's. I will praise thee O God my strength is renewed like the eagle's and I will wait upon thee. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up like the eagle and run, not be weary, and walk and not faint. Our persecutors will fail for our God will save us from heaven and in the mountain of Zion. Let us praise His name forever for He is worthy of all our praises.

  • #They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. Lamentations 4:18

The Hebrew word for the end is Qets; meaning an extremity, after 2 Kings 19:23 By thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof and the choice the fir trees thereof. I will enter into the lodgings of his borders and the forest of his Carmel. Jeremiah is praying for the end to come like Hezekiah prayed when the Lord defeated Sennacherib, king of Assyria. This is what will happen when Jesus comes again to establish His kingdom, the tribes on earth will mourn when they see the King of kings and Lord of Lords riding on the clouds with great power and great glory. Kiss the Son lest He be angry, for the earth is the Lord's footstool and He is just waiting for His enemies to be defeated.

  • #As for us, our eyes have failed for our vain help: in our watching, we have watched for a nation that could not save us. Lamentations 4:17

The Hebrew word for watching is Tsipplyyah; meaning watchfulness; From Tsaphah meaning to look out and spy. to peer into the distance, to observe and await. Psalm 66:9 Holds our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. Jehovah God watches over us, for vain is the help of man. I will lift my eyes into the hills from whence comes my help; my help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. Psalm 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that built it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain. Let us pray for our leaders that they will look to Jehovah God to watch over us.

  • #The anger of the LORD hath divided them; He will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favored not the elders. Lamentations 4:16

The Hebrew word for favor is Chanan and because the Jewish people lost Chanan for the elders God did not regard them and divided them. We are living in a day now when priests are not respected, and elders are abandoned. This is a shame, for elders must be cared for, because of their wisdom and contribution to the next generation. I pray the children learn to love and care for their elderly parents. The fifth commandment is to honor your father and mother all the days of your life and it will be well with thee. When God divides people because they do not respect priests, and show favor to the elders, this is a severe judgment that comes upon society. Hear O man what God has demanded of thee, do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God. When this is done we will no longer be divided but united in love.

  • #They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. Lamentations 4:15

The Hebrew word for sojourn is Guwr; meaning to turn aside from the road, to shrink, to gather for hostility Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together and a little child shall lead them. What a blessing when the kingdom of God will come upon the earth, the unclean shall depart, and the heathen shall no more sojourn there. The wolf will dwell with the lamb, these were once enemies. The leopard shall lie down with the kid, the young lion and the fatling will sit together, and most importantly a child shall lead them. There will be peace in the valley for me, as Jesus said suffer the little children to come unto Me for of such is the Kingdom of God. There will be perfect weather, no more climate change, and the animals will no longer fight and eat one another. This is the way it would have been if Adam had never sinned. Thank God for the last Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ who became sin for us, so that we could inherit the righteousness of Christ, has reversed the curse and now there is a utopia on earth for 1000 years. The devil that deceived them will be bound in the abyss falling for 1000 years. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire prepared for the devil and his angels. The devil will join them after he will be loosed from the abyss for a season, to once again deceive the nations. Then fire from heaven will come down and devour them all.

  • #They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. Lamentations 4:14

The Hebrew word for wandered is Nua; meaning to quiver, wave, waver, tremble, and totter. To go up and down, be gone away. A primitive root to waver, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively Amos 4:8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water but were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto Me, saith the LORD. Jeremiah is telling the condition of the Israelites they have wandered as blind men in the streets, as when the angel smote the men of Sodom with blindness, and they have polluted themselves with blood so that men could not touch their garments. This is a picture of what is happening in the world today as refugees are wandering from one country to another to gain citizenship in the United States of America. Seek ye the Lord Jehovah while He may be found. Sinners turn from your wicked ways and prostrate yourselves before the Lord. Violence is in the streets and not enough policemen to fight crime. We need to have the Ten Commandments posted in schools all around the world today. People need to know the law, which is a schoolmaster that leads us to the Lord Jesus Christ our intercessor and Mediator.

  • #For the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her. Lamentations 4:13

The Hebrew word for priests is Kohen; meaning ruler, principal officer. Active participle of Kahan; literally one officiating (although a layman) prince, chief ruler. Genesis 14:18 Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine and was the priest of the most high God. Jeremiah is weeping cause the prophets and the priest are committing sins, and shedding the blood of the just amid the daughter of Zion. Seeing then that we have a great high priest passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold our profession fast. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are and yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 We are not perfect but we must strive to be blameless, and harmless sharing the faith with a good conscience
