A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And they glorified God in me. Galatians 1:24
The Greek word for glorified is Doxazo; meaning to render or esteem glorious from Doxa; to render (or esteem) glorious, to honor and magnify. Yes, this is the doxology to praise, honor, and glory from Dokeo; glory, dignity, and worship. Hebrews 3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses since He who built the house hath more honor than the house. Wherefore holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus. This is what Paul taught the Galatians to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ when he preached. As John said I must decrease and He must increase. We must do this as ministers in our preaching to exalt God our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.
#But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. Galatians 1:23
The Greek word for preacheth is Euangelizo; meaning to announce good news from the EU and Aggelos; to announce good news ( evangelize) especially the gospel, to declare glad tidings. Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation and kindred, and tongue, and people. Paul is going to preach the everlasting gospel, just like the angels will do in the great tribulation on earth to all kindred, and tongue and people. What a glorious time this will be for Jesus has said that this gospel would be preached to the whole world, then the end would come. We are living in the last days as the gospel is being preached over the Internet, Television, and Radio to all people to the glory of God.
#And was unknown by the face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: Galatians. 1:22
The Greek word for churches is Ekklesia; meaning an assembly a congregation. From especially a compound of Ek and a derivative of Kaleo; a calling out, i.e. (concretely) a popular meeting, especially a religious congregation ( Jewish synagogue, or Christian community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both) Hebrews 2:12 Saying I will declare thy name unto my brethren, amid the church will I sing praise unto thee. The Lord Jesus will declare our name unto the brethren amid the church in heaven and sing praises unto thee. What a glorious day that will be. Paul and all the brethren in the church of Judaea in Christ will be known. As we have borne the image of the terrestrial we shall bear the image of the celestial. We will know as we are known in heaven.
#Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; Galatians 1:21
Syria was a region North and East of Palestine probably of Hebrew origin (Tsor) Syria (i.e. Tsyria or Tyre) was a region of Asia. bounded on the north by the Taurus and Amanus ranges, east by the Euphrates and Arabia, south by Palestine, and west by Phoenicia and the Mediterranean. Acts 21:3 Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand and sailed into Syria and landed at Tyre: for there, the ship was to unlade her burden. and finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit had warned Paul that bonds and afflictions waited for him. We must never be afraid to do the work of the Lord because of bonds and afflictions. We must through many trials and tribulations enter into that blessed kingdom. Cilicia was a province of Asia Minor, bounded on the north by Cappadocia, Lyesonia, and Isauria, on the south by the Mediterranean on the East by Syria, and on the west by Pamphylia. Its capital, Tarsus was the birthplace of Paul.
#Now the things I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. Galatians 1:20
The Greek word for lie is Pseudomai; meaning to lie. Middle voice of a primary verb; to utter untruth or attempt to deceive by falsehood. Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us; Thank God it is impossible for God to lie, and we can have refuge in the hope set before us, that Paul is inspired by the Holy Spirit and he is writing the truth to us about the scriptures
#But other apostles saw I none, except James the Lord's brother. Galatians 1:19
The Greek name for James is Iakobos the name of several Israelites. Yet, he was the brother of our Lord Jesus Christ by the Virgin Mary, who went on to have several children after the immaculate conception. Similar to Iakob Graecized, Jacobus is the name of three Israelites. Matthew 4:21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending nets and he called them. So Paul was called to be an apostle, just like the Lord called the other apostles, except Judas Iscariot., For he was chosen to fulfill scripture.
#Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him for fifteen days. Galatians 1:18
The Greek word for abode is Epimeno; which means to stay on. From Epi and Meno; to stay over, i.e. Remain (figuratively, persevere) to continue or to tarry. Philippians 1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Paul after spending three years in Arabia and Damascus, Paul went up to Jerusalem to see Peter and abode with him for fifteen days. It was more needful for him to abide in the flesh, for he was homesick and wanted to go to heaven to be with Jesus. We moan in this tabernacle desiring to have our heavenly body that we will receive in the first resurrection. To live is Christ and to die is gain. For Christ will change these vile bodies into His glorious body.
#Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and returned unto Damascus. Galatians 1:17
Arabia was a peninsula of Asia near Africa. Hebrew origin (Arab) Arabia meaning steppe-dwellers, is a country East of Israel. From Marab; in the figurative sense of sterility (i.e. Arabia) a country East of Palestine. Isaiah 21:13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye traveling companies of Dedanim. The Hebrew word for Dedanim is Dedani or inhabitant of Dedan who was a descendant of Ham, also a descendant of Abraham, So this is where the Holy Spirit led Paul to go where he received revelation from the Lord that he would be the apostle to the Gentiles—a people who would be a part of the wild shoot of the olive branch. Dedan is the name of two Cushites and their territory. Ezekiel 27:20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots. This symbolizes the chariots of God protecting Paul in Dedan, where the Lord tells him how many things he will suffer.
#To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood, Galatians 1:16
The Greek word for heathen is Ethonos; meaning a race, a nation (as distinct from Israel) Gentile. Paul was given the ministry to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, including all nations and races. From Etho; a race (as of the same habit) i.e. A tribe, especially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one usually by implication pagan. Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth and determined the times appointed and the bounds of their habitation. It is why Paul did not confer with any flesh about his appointment to be the apostle to the Gentiles. for the Holy Spirit is baptizing Jews and Gentiles into the body of Christ. For in the Spirit, there is neither Jew nor Greek male or female. All are one in the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank the Lord that the Church is becoming more multicultural today, for we must take this gospel into all the world to fulfill the Great Commission.
#But when it pleased God who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by His grace. Galatians 1:15
The Greek word for womb is Koilla; meaning belly. From Koilos; a cavity, i.e. (especially) the abdomen, by implication the matrix; figuratively, the heart. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Paul was born again, as Jonas was in the whale's belly, and this is a picture of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why Paul said it was God who separated me from my mother's womb. My mother told me that when I was born, it was God who delivered me and I was called of God to be a preacher from birth. Just like Paul, and while I did not have a Damascus road experience, God gifted me with playing the piano by ear, and then I would preach. My older brother Mark preached to me and said Tinothy you just have to obey, then he paused and said me too then he ran out of the house. That is the problem many are called, but few are chosen. We have to obey God and preach the whole gospel according to God.
