Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Galations 3:25

Thank the Lord, now that the Lord has come, and fulfilled the law, we are no longer under the Paidagogos, for we are now the Poiema of Christ, created in good works, which God has ordained us to do. Let us put off the works of darkness and walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all sin. We have learned by experience with the law, that they are not and cannot be commended to God by their works, welcome to the more eager hope of salvation offered them through the resurrection of Christ, the Son of God. We are now accepted in the Beloved and no longer walk after the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Luke 2:43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned the Child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. Just as Jesus told his parents I must be about my Father's business. let us be about doing good to others, and especially those of the household of faith.

  • #Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24

The Greek word for schoolmaster is Paidagogos; meaning a trainer of boys, a tutor. From Pais and a reduplicated form of Ago; a boy-leader i.e. A servant whose office it was to take the children to school. Among the Greeks and Romans, the name was applied to trustworthy slaves who were charged with the duty of supervising the life and morals of boys belonging to the better class. 1 Corinthians 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. That is what the law was to bring us unto Christ to be justified by faith since Christ completed the law. Now faith comes by hearing the word of God. So it is important that we not only be hearers of the word but doers, not deceiving ourselves.

  • #But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterward be revealed. Galations 3:23

The Greek word for revealed is Apokalypto; meaning to uncover. From Apo and Kalupto; to take off the cover, i.e. disclose. To make bare in Greek writings from (Herodotus) and Plato. Matthew 10:26 Fear them not, therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed and hidden, that shall not be known. Jesus is the Apokalypto for He was concealed in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament. John the Baptist who was the forerunner of the Lord, said Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. We were kept under the law until the Lord Jesus would be revealed to take away the world's sins. Now we are accepted in the Beloved, as holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. So if you are hiding something or have an addiction, it shall be revealed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. So confess it today, so you will not be ashamed later.

  •  #But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Galatians 3:22

The Greek word for scripture is Graphe; meaning writing. A document, I.e. Holy Writ (or its contents or a statement in it) 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Paul is saying the Holy Writ has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. So we are instructed in righteousness so that we can have full assurance of our salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ so that we can live a perfect life.

  • #Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. Galatians 3:21

The Greek word for righteousness is Dikaiosyne; meaning justice from Dikaios; equity (of character or act) especially (Christian) justification. Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. If you believe Paul wrote the Hebrews, as I do, this is his thought that he is unskilled in the word of righteousness, is a babe, and needs milk. The problem in the church today is we have too many babes who believe that as long as their good works outweigh their bad works, they are righteous by the law. God forbids, for the law cannot save us, only faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can save us. Jesus as our propitiation took our place on the cross and thereby became righteousness for us. Now we are justified by faith and the children of Abraham.

  • #Now a mediator is not the mediator of one, but God is one. Galatians 3:20

The Greek word for one is Heis; Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken and the other left. Paul is speaking about the Trinity, where God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three in one. Jesus is the Mediator and He is our advocate. We go to Him when we are accused, as Satan is the accuser of the brethren, and Jesus as the  Mediator says my blood has covered their sins, and as the advocate, our case is dismissed. Thank God for the Holy Spirit who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort others with the same consolation that we receive from our Heavenly Father

  • #Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Galatians 3:19

The Greek word for Mediator is Mesites; meaning an arbitrator. From Mesos; a go-between, i.e. (simply) an internunciator, or (by implication) to reconcile (intercessor) Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Thank God Jesus is the Mediator of a better covenant of grace since He is the seed that should come to end transgressions. Praise God when we place our faith in Him we are accepted into the new covenant. There is now therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. This new covenant is based upon better promises.

  • #For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Galatians 3:18

Welcome to the Fall equinox thank the Lord He promised seed time and harvest. The Greek word for inheritance is Kleronomia; From Kleronomos; meaning heirship, i.e. a patrimony or (genitive case) a possession. (Isocrates, Demosthenes, Aristotle) Matthew 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the Son, they said among themselves, this is the heir; come let us kill him and let us seize on His inheritance. The Lord Jesus Christ is the heir, and the religious leaders wanted to kill Him so that they could seize on his inheritance. Thank God Jesus the Son of God said, no man takes my life, I lay it down willingly. So Jesus went to the cross, to fulfill the law and the promise given to Abraham. Now we are the children of Abraham by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and joint heirs with Him. Let us rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. We have received an inheritance that is incorruptible and shed on the blood of Jesus Christ, not of silver and gold. We walk by faith and not sight, and let us wait upon that inheritance reserved in heaven for us. Let us pray for a revival that many will turn to faith in the Son of God, to receive their inheritance.

  • #And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. Galatians 3:17

The Greek word for covenant is Diatheke; meaning testament, or will. From Diatithemai; to properly make a disposition, I,e (especially) a contract (especially a devisory will) For the word covenant is used to denote the close relationship which God entered into, first with Noah, Genesis 6:18, Genesis 9:9 then with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their posterity, Leviticus 26:42, but especially with Abraham, Genesis 15 and Genesis 17 and afterward through Moses with the people of Israel. We can be sure that God will fulfill all of His promises. All the promises of God are yes, and we say Amen to the glory of God. When we make a testament or will it is the last disposal which one makes of one's earthly possessions after his death (So in Greek writing form Aristophanes, Plato as follows. Hebrews 9:16: For where a testament is, there must also be the testator's death. Jesus Christ's death on the cross. fulfilled the Mosaic law and it cannot be disannulled, that the promise would be of no effect. Praise God that we can rest assured that we are joint heirs with Christ by faith and will receive all the promises of God when Jesus returns to take us to heaven in the resurrection.

  • #Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to the seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Galatians 3:16

The Greek word for promises is Epangelia; meaning a summons. From Epanggello; an announcement, assent, or pledge, especially a divine assurance of good. 1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light,  and in Him is no darkness at all. The apostle John wants us to have this assurance, that God is light and there is no darkness at all. Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie, that we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. As God has promised we are of the seed of Abraham by faith, and joint heirs with the Lord Jesus Christ. So we can rest assured that God will complete what He started. Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
