Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

The Greek word for salvation is Soteria; for rescue or safety (physically or morally) to deliver health, and saving power. That is what the Word of God does for us when we believe it. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith. Now faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and when we act upon it then it will produce salvation. We must be doers of the Word, and not hearers only deceiving ourselves. James 1:23-25 For if a man is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.  Therefore make your election sure for pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. When we do this we are making our election sure and will receive a well-done good and faithful servant into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So be not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it gives us the power to inherit salvation when we place all of our weight into it. May the Lord bless you richly my brothers and sisters in the Lord and remember the poor, for God is a buckler to the poor.

  • #My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26

The Hebrew word for heart is Lebab; for understanding, mind, courage (as the most interior organ) Asap has found out  I am continually with thee: thou hast me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire besides thee. God wants us to desire Him, and He will grant all the desires of our hearts. Everyone upon earth will fail us, but God understands us and is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Man goes about earning money only to leave it for someone else to enjoy. We must delight ourselves in the Lord for He is eternal. Everything on earth is temporal. So when our flesh and heart fail, God will receive us to heaven when we have placed our faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will receive us in heaven, in that home that He has been preparing for us. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? surely God has placed them on slippery places, and in a moment they shall slip. We must dwell in the sanctuary of God and there be nourished until He comes to call us home. This Psalm is one of my favorites, and I preached a sermon on this "Dwelling in the Sanctuary of God I pray that you will read it through and meditate upon it for it is filled with truth for our souls. Let the Lord comfort you in your moments of sorrow and know that God is the hope for tomorrow. As the hymn we use to sing in the Church ' only believe' for all things are possible when we believe all that God our Heavenly Father has told us through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. For He said if I go away, I will come again to receive you, that where I am, there ye shall be also. This is the blessed hope, the glorious appearance of our great God and Savior.

  • #So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. Genesis 1:27

The Hebrew for God is Elohiym; for plural supreme. We see God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit created man in His own image. Imago Dei is the theological concept that humans are created in the image of God. It is central to the fact that all men are created to be like God and have freedom. God created Him male and female. God told them be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of the tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein is life, I have given every green herb for meat, and it was so. God made mankind to be vegetarian, but when sin entered the world, mankind and nature became carnivorous. So God sent His Son to become a man, to taste death for every man, so that man could be born again. So God the Son was impregnated by the Holy Spirit into the womb of the Virgin Mary. and Jesus was born in the hypostatic union, fully God, and man. Jesus became the Lamb of God, slain before the foundations of the world, and went to the cross to make a propitiation for our sins, We are accepted in the Beloved when we place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and are born of water and the Spirit. Now it does not appear what we shall be, but when we see Jesus we will be fashioned like He is. We are justified, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit and will be glorified in the first resurrection. Revelation 22:1,2 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river was there the tree of life, which twelve types of fruit bare, and yielded her fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. So God will make all things new and man will once again be vegetarian. What a glorious day that shall be, when we see Jesus.

  • #And one shall say unto Him, what are these wounds in thine hands? Then He shall answer, those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Zechariah 13:6

The Hebrew word for wounds; is Makkah; for blow, slaughter, stripe, or stroke. Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. Praise God that Jesus did not come down from the cross, but He decided to stay there because He loved us. When Israel remembers what they did to Him they will weep on Him whom they pierced. We are healed spiritually and physically when we place our faith in the shed blood for us on the cross. We will no longer be called servants but friends, cause we were the friends who wounded Him. O praise the Lord for He alone is worthy of all of our glory and honor. We will be trophies of His grace throughout all of eternity in heaven. Thank God He is preparing a place for us to be with Him forever. What a beautiful city the New Jerusalem shall be 1500 miles wide, long, and tall. He has a room for everybody and we will cast our crowns at His feet singing worthy is the Lamb who was slain and has received power and majesty. Let us rejoice for the Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night and we must make sure there is oil in our lamps when He comes. Five virgins were wise and bought oil, but the other five were foolish and said give us some of your oil. The wise five said go to the merchants and buy your own, and then at the midnight hour the Lord came and took the wise away. So shall it be for all those who are lukewarm, for He is going to spew them out of His mouth. Jesus is getting us ready for that great day, and who shall be able to stand? All those clothed in the righteousness of Christ which is by faith. Come and see taste of Him for He is able to save unto the uttermost all those who call upon Him. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. Praise God He called us friends and told us all that the Father will do unto us. Therefore, let us buy gold tried in the fire so we will be ready for that great day.

  • #And He had two wives; the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other was Peninnah; Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 1 Samuel 1:2

The Hebrew name for wives is Ishshah; Irregular plural, Nashiym. Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of Mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite. And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there. And when it was time for Elkanah he offered, and gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions. But unto Hannah, he gave a worthy portion for he loved Hannah; but the LORD had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.  And as she did so year by year when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat. And she was in bitterness of soul and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow and said O LORD of hosts, if thou would indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the Days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. Then Eli answered and said Go in peace and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of Him. And she said, let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house to Ramah and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time came, about after Hannah conceived, that she bears a son, and called his name Samuel, saying Because I have asked him of the LORD. So Hannah kept her vow and gave Samuel to the LORD all his days. Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

  • #And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. Luke 15:2  Jesus receives sinners and He spake this parable unto them, saying What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost until he finds it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home he calleth his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep. I say unto you, that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she loses one piece doth not light a candle and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she finds it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. And He saith A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to. his father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. Not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into the far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, a mighty famine arose in that l. and; and he began to be in want. And he joined himself as a citizen of that country and he sent into his fields to feed swine. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father and will say unto him, Father I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son. make me one of the hired servants. And when he arose and came to his father, but when he was yet a great way. God loves forgives and restores.

  • #Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14  The Greek word for savor is Osme; for fragrance or odor. For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish. To the one, we are a savor of death unto death; and to the other the savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. Isaiah 1:18 Come now and let us reason together saith the LORD, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. My brothers and sisters, it is time to be the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and shine as lights in the darkness. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provisions for the flesh. to fulfill the lusts thereof. And that, knowing the time, now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. When we do this we will smell like Jesus, and look like Jesus.

  • #But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. Malachi 4:2  The Hebrew word for Sun is Shemesh; for the sun, (by implication) the east (figuratively) a ray. Jesus when He comes will rise out of the east as a bright ray of hope for all of mankind. As brilliant as the sunshine is to us, that is how brilliant the Lord Jesus Christ will be when He comes with healing in His wings. The Hebrew word for healing is Marpe for curative medicine and deliverance for our souls. He is the only doctor who has never lost a patient. We will be healed of all our sins and will be filled with His righteousness. Oh what joy will fill our souls when the Lord shall come, for the first time He came as a Babe in the manger, to heal us from all danger, and the second time He will come as a flash of lightning from the east unto the west. He is coming back as the King of Kings and Lord of lords. Oh, praise His name with me today, for He alone is worthy to be praised. The people will grow up as calves of the stall. He will bring peace to His people and will end all wars. The Government shall be upon His shoulders and they shall beat their swords into pruning hooks. They will study war no more. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. A Jewish day begins in darkness and ends in light. For the great tribulation shall come upon the earth and the man of sin, the Antichrist shall sign a false peace treaty with Israel for seven years, and in the midst of it, he shall break it and demand that all the world receive the mark of the beast 666 on the forehead and right hand. Then God will send famine, drought, and plagues to purge sin from the earth. Then the Sun of righteousness will arise out of the east with healing in His wings, He will be riding a white horse and having His vesture dipped in blood, the armies of heaven shall be on white horses and the Lord shall shout out of Zion drop dead, and the Antichrist and the false prophet who deceived the whole world will be cast into the Lake of Fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Then He shall rule in Jerusalem as the Capital of the whole world. Oh, let us sing His praises for our King of Kings and Lord of Lords shall rule without end. It is my prayer that you will accept Him today as your Lord and Savior, or on that day, He shall be your judge. Let us worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

  • #I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51

Jesus is the bread of life, your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not die. The Greek word for bread is Artos; for a loaf. This is what is used for the Lord's Supper and we eat his body, and drink his blood and receive eternal life. The Greek word for eternal life is Aion meaning age without end. We will forever celebrate the Lord Jesus Chirst in heaven as the Lamb of God who takes away our sins. He will be asked what are those wounds in your hands, and your side? He will say these are they that I received in the house of my friends. We are no longer servants but sons and heirs of salvation. We will enjoy zoe life which is the epithet  of Jesus. I am looking forward to living forever with the Lord sitting at His feet hearing the Word of God. We will serve Him forever and sing His praises throughout all eternity. The Greek word for world is Kosmos for orderly arrangement, i.e. decoration worlds without end as Jesus will make a new heaven and earth. We will ascend and descend from heaven to celebrate the kingdom of God. Whoso eateth my flesh, Jesus said, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. We will celebrate the Lord's Supper in the kingdom of God and what a joy this will be. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying how can this man give us flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. My fellow man believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and eat His flesh, and drink His blood. This is spiritually done by faith, and as often as we do this we do show forth His death, burial, and resurrection until He comes again. Let a man so examine himself so that he does not take the Lord's Supper in vain and bring judgment unto his soul. Therefore confess your sins and He is faithful and just to forgive you from all unrighteousness. Then you can take the Lord's Supper with joy and receive life eternal. The bread is symbolic of the body of the Lord, and the wine or unfermented grapejuice is symbolic of the blood of Jesus that takes away our sins. Receive them with thanksgiving in your hearts. Then sing a hymn such as what can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh how precious is that fountain, that washes me white as snow. No other fountain I know, except the blood of Jesus. Make sure you are walking in love and fellowship with your brothers and sisters in the Lord.

  • #There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear. 1 Corinthians 10:13

The Greek word for temptation is Peirasmos; for a putting to proof (by experiment of good) experience of evil, solicitation, discipline or provocation. Second by implication adversity. From Peirazo; a putting to proof. Galations 4:14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. Paul is telling the Galations thanks for accepting his temptation in his flesh, which was his thorn in the flesh, and they despised it not, Nor rejected him but accepted him as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. This was given to Paul by the Lord to humble him because of his many revelations to keep him from being exalted above measure. God cannot use us when we become conceited with pride, so He tempts us by putting us to proof. God never gives us more than we can bear. Such as Joseph and the LORD was with him and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did in his hand to prosper. And Joseph found grace in his sight and he served him and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he hath, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a handsome and goodly person well favoured. And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes on Joseph; and she said lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master's wife Behold my master has put and committed all that he hath to my hand there is none greater in this house than I, neither kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? So she grabbed his garment and Joseph ran out of the house, then she lied to her husband he tried to rape me. Nevertheless God allowed Joseph to go to prison for thirteen years then promoted him to Prime Minister. So God is Faithful.
