A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; Philippians 3:10
The Greek word for suffering is Pathema; for something undergone, i.e. hardship or pain. We see Paul undergoing the thorn in the flesh, and he is suffering immensely for the Lord Jesus Christ. So he wants to know the Lord in the power of His resurrection. The Greek word for power; is Dunamis for force and we get the English word dynamite. It is this miraculous power that Paul is seeking. The Greek word for fellowship; is Koinonia; for partnership. Misery begets company and Paul wants the company of the fellow saints to understand the Pathema or hardship and pain of having the thorn in the flesh. On the Damascus road when Paul met the risen Savior, Jesus told him what a great time of suffering he would endure, but Jesus promised him, my grace is sufficient. Then Paul wants to be conformable unto His death; Jesus told His disciples that if you want to be like Me, you must take up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Me. This is what we must do every day to conform to the death of Christ. Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all of us go free? No there is a cross for all of us, including me. Praise God that we are counted worthy to suffer for His name sake, and are buried with Him in baptism, and raised to newness of life in the resurrection. Paul said to live is Christ, and to die is gain. So let us thank God for our suffering and the partnership we share with the Lord Jesus. As Jesus died vicariously for us on the cross, and we must die for ourselves daily. When we do this the Lord is glorified in our bodies by life and by death.
#Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. Revelation 19:7
The Greek word for Lamb is Arnionl Diminutive from Aren; a lambkin. a little lamb is used of Christ, innocently suffering and dying to expiate the sins of men. We are all invited to the wedding of the Lamb. The Church is the bride of Christ and she has made herself ready being clothed in the righteousness of Christ. We receive this robe when we place our faith in Him dying for our sins on the cross. Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And He saith unto me, Write Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He said unto me, these are the true saying of God. We must go into the highways and byways and seek out the lost so they can be saved and clothed in the righteousness of Christ. For without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.
#Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. Proverbs 17:13 Happy MLK Day
The Hebrew word for rewarded is shub: for to turn back. Our nation is about to install President Donald Trump today and we pray for his administration, that change will come to the United States of America for good and not evil. God turns the king's heart into whether he should go. Our country needs to be united for good, as we have been bogged down in polarization. May we move to do the thing that our nation pledged, That we hold these true, that all men are created equal, and have been endowed with inalienable rights such as life, liberty, freedom, and happiness? Let us do good to our fellow man in his pursuit of happiness. If we will commit to doing this America shall live out her creed. May the Lord turn our hearts to do His will and seek peace, justice, and liberty for all men is my prayer in Jesus's name Amen!

#Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. Proverbs 17:13 Happy MLK Day!
#So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
The Hebrew word for Word is Dabar; for a matter, thing, a cause. by implication or thing adverbially, act, advice, affair or answer of any such thing. Numbers 11:23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. Jehovah God has said my word shall go out of my mouth; it shall not return unto Me void but shall accomplish that which I please. God sends the rain on the just and the unjust alike. For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. So let everything that has breath praise the Lord. We thank God that He has washed our sins as white as snow and we are accepted in the Beloved. Thank God for this weather that we are having and prepare your homes for a hard freeze, wrap the pipes, and drain all the faucets, and turn off the water so your pipes will not burst. If you choose to drip the faucets, make sure you drip them at a pencil stream both hot and cold. It is the Lord's Day and if you go to church make sure to run antifreeze in your car at 80% and have plenty of firewood for the fireplace should ice knock out the power lines. Then sit back and stay warm drink some coffee and have soup for dinner. Get cozy with your loved ones and thank the Lord for all things work together for our good and for His glory.
#Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth, the seven stars in His right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Revelation 2:1
The Greek word for angel is Aggelos, which means messenger. God used an Angel to give the book of Revelation to the apostle John while he was on the island of Patmos. He is speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ who holds the seven stars. The Greek word for seven; Hepta; for complete. The Greek word for stars; Aster we get the English word Astrological. When we become a soul winner for the Lord Jesus Christ we shine like the stars in heaven. Jesus who created the stars and the Astrological Universe holds all these together by the word of His power in His right hand, and He walks amid the church holding the seven golden candlesticks. The Greek word for golden; Chruseos; for made of gold, we are like Job who says God knows the way that I shall take and be pure gold. The Greek word for candlesticks is luchnia for a lamp stand. Jesus said we are the light of the world, and we must let our lights shine so that men will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Jesus says to the church of Ephesus I know thy works and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil and have tried them which say they are apostles and were not, and hast found them liars: and hast borne, and hast patience and for my name's sake hast labored, and not fainted. Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. We see the commendation of the church, and now the one problem of leaving their first love, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are married to Jesus, and we must love Him with all our heart, mind, and soul. How do we lose our love for our Lord? We are told to love not the world, or the things of this world, for all that is in the world the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life will pass away, but whoso does the will of the Father shall abide forever. If you love this world, you are an enemy of God, and this is how we lose our love for the Lord Jesus Christ. So repent from whence thou hast fallen, and return to the Shepherd of our souls the Lord Jesus Christ.
#Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6
The Hebrew word for power is Koach; for a small reptile. Or Kowach; from an unused root meaning to be firm, vigorous, or strong. What is the secret to the power of the Christian life? Zechariah asked Jehovah God of angel armies to answer this question, and then He spake unto me, saying the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the LORD of hosts. Not our muscle or intellect gives us victory in the Christian life, but the Spirit of God. We are told if we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. When the disciples asked Jesus when He would restore the kingdom unto Israel, He said it is not for you to know, but tarry ye here in Jerusalem until ye be endued with power on high. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, and they began to speak in cloven tongues of fire, and these men turned the world upside down for Jesus. That is why we need a revival to come in these last days and for us to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and He shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting crying Grace, grace, unto it. Jesus is the head of the Corner on which the church is built, and He told Peter, that on this rock I shall build my church, and neither the gates of hell shall prevail against her. It is time for us to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, as Jesus told Paul, my grace is sufficient for thee, my strength is made perfect in weakness. Paul said much rather will I glory in my weaknesses so that the power of Christ remains on me.
#Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5
The Greek word for imaginations is Logismos; for reasoning, a thought; Logizomai; for computation, i.e. (figuratively) reasoning (conscience, conceit) to reckon, to consider. Middle voice from Logos; to take an inventory, i.e. Estimate, conclude, despise, esteem, impute, and suppose. Logos; the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ) Luke 24:17 And He said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit can read our minds and bring our reasoning and every thought to the obedience of Christ. We must submit to God, and resist the devil. This is how we win in spiritual warfare. And they talked together of all those things which had happened. And it came to pass, that while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. Jesus wanted to teach them all that the prophets had foretold of the resurrection. And one of them whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto Him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass in these days? Jesus told them beginning in the Psalms of all the prophets told them of things about His resurrection. Then the men said did not our hearts burn within us as He talked with us along the way? When we speak with Jesus, He makes all things right. So come away and spend some time with Jesus studying His word, so that you can grow in the faith, and be victorious in your Christian life. Have a strong prayer life, so that the Holy Spirit can have His way with you, and take the things of Christ and make them real to you. When you commune with Jesus, He will not be a stranger to you. Jesus said to search the scriptures, for these are they that testify of Me. It is my prayer that you will accept Jesus Christ as your Personal Lord & Savior, and be baptized. Find a local church that preaches the Word of God and fellowship with them.
#Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11
The Greek word for wiles is Methodeia; for craft, deceit, scheming, and trickery. From a compound of Meta and Hodeuo (compare method); traveling over, i.e., Travesty (trickery) wiles, lying in wait. We as Christians are in warfare, and it is not against flesh and blood. Humans are not our enemies. It is spiritual wickedness in high places. This is the method of the devil, that old serpent who wars against us. We must put on the whole armor of God to stand against all the wiles or Methodeia of the devil. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. The truth holds up the child of God against all the lies of the devil. Christ was delivered for our offenses and we are justified in the Lord Jesus Christ. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty, through God, to the pulling down of strongholds. That is why Paul tells the believers to be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. The shield of faith is the defense weapon that withstands all the fiery darts of the enemy. Faith is our victory over this world, and when we walk by faith we keep all the fiery darts of the devil away from us. Then prayer for all the saints is the offensive weapon to hold up our brethren against all the attacks of the devil. In the ministry, you must use prayer, and the helmet of salvation to protect our minds in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was always comforted when I was told by other believers that they were praying for me. The sword of the Spirit is our greatest offensive weapon we must use the sword for a hand-to-hand battle with the devil. When Satan tempted the Lord Jesus in the wilderness forty days He used the Rehma word, which is the sword of the Spirit, and said it is written, and defeated the devil every time. Study to show thyself a workman approved unto God who needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of God.
#For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Romans 8:22
The Greek word for travaileth is Synodino; for to be in travail together. We thank God for the grace to endure the sufferings together, and encourage one another in the faith. Hebrews 11 is the Hall of Fame of Faith. Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Women received they're dead raised to life again, and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection: and other had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stones, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in the mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us, should not be made perfect. Thank God that one day Jesus is going to wipe away all our tears, for there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, for the former things will be passed away. And we will all receive our incorruptible crowns to throw at the feet of Jesus singing Amazing Grace that saved a sinner like me. No more climate change, for the Lord God, will be our sun and the light of the world. So do not complain about your sufferings, just travail together with us, and give God all the glory.
#For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
We can count it all joy when we fall into diverse trials and tribulations knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience for the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. So we can be sure God is making us look just like Jesus and when we shall come forth, as Job said as pure gold. Thank God for your troubles and do not complain. The Greek word for workmanship is Poema; for masterpiece. We are the masterpieces of the Lord and we show forth His glory when we suffer for His name sake. Paul called these light and momentary afflictions that we go through are working a far more exceeding work of glory in us. So thank the Lord that He counts us worthy to suffer for His name's sake.
