Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13,14

The Greek word for apprehended is Katalambano, which means to take eagerly, i.e., seize, possess, etc. We must forget the past, for we have an enemy who delights in accusing us of our past. Paul had much to forget, as a persecuter of the Church and he learned to forget not only his past failures but also his pedigree. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Jesus died on the cross for all our sins, past, present, and future tense. So we must forget those things which are behind, and press toward the mark for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. When we do that we put to death that old man with his deeds, and put on the new man made after the righteousness of Christ by faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. We can leave old friends and make new friends. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, but delights in the law of the Lord on which he meditates day and night. This is the key to forgetting the past. When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future in the Lake of fire. Paul did not attain perfection, but he learned to press forward, and not look backward. It is just like driving a car, you look forward and in the rear view mirrow, just to remind you that in order to get to your destination, you have to avoid the abstacles on your way. God gives us the grace to live the Christian life looking at Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven, interceding for us. Jesus promised never to leave us, and to be with us always until the end of the age. So with that perspective we can press forward toward the mark of Christ, and one day Jesus will call us home either in death, or in the rapture to forever be with Him.

  • #And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat, that saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed  by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 Chronicles 20:15

The Hebrew word for Hearken is Qashab; for to prick up the ears, or give heed, incline, mark, and regard. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon thee. What do we do when we are faced with overwhelming odds? We must look to the Lord and prick up our ears and give heed to what the Lord is telling us to do. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. Then Jahaziel the son of Zachariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation. What great faith these men had when faced with the enemy. King Jehoshaphat said to be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's. The faith of a mustard seed moves mountains, and this is the faith that we must have when we are fighting giants. Tomorrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you. O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. What a great victory Jehovah God gave Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Remember to worship the Lord God at all times. For God doth fight our battles, seen and unseen. Give God all the glory and the praise, and sing songs of worship to the Lord for His great victory in your midst. May the Lord be magnified in my body, in life or in death.

  • #Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. Proverbs 5:18,19  Husbands love your wives.

The Hebrew word for fountain is maqowr; for something dug; also of tears, by euphemism, of the female pudenda. Husbands love your wives and be ravished by them at all times. Let thy fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Wives love and submit to their husbands;  do not abandon them but nourish them. This is great advice Solomon is giving to husbands and wives. Too many husbands will not love their wives because they say they are too fat. Well, wives seek to lose weight and make themselves look ravishing. And why wilt thou my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings. Song of Solomon 1:10 Thy cheeks are comely with the rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold. This is how wives should dress for their husbands to get them to ravish their love. Do not be ashamed to show yourselves beautiful and have that inner beauty of a meek and quiet spirit. For this is of a great price in the sight of God. A bundle of myrrh is my Wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts Song of Solomon 1:13 For God gave wives these for a good purpose, and glorify God in your bodies with your husband. It is my prayer that wives will be beautiful to their husbands so that they will ravish them at all times. God said it is not good for man to be alone, so be a companion to him all the days of their lives.

  • #Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Ephesians 4:19

The Greek word for uncleanness is Akatharsia; for impurity ( physically or morally) But ye have not so learned Christ. Ye must put off concerning the former conversation with the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts. If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, for the former things are passed away, and all things have become new. Speak the truth with your neighbor and walk in righteousness and holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God has not called us to uncleanness, but unto holiness. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor. And love ye one another, but as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you. God is holy and ye must be holy. We cannot of ourselves be holy, but by the Holy Spirit, for He sets us apart. Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; This is how we live the Christian life and prove ourselves as true disciples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; And having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. Let him that stole, steal no more but work with his hands giving to those who have need. May the grace of God be with you all in Jesus's name I pray Amen.

  • #They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. Hosea 4:13 Turn to the Lord

The Hebrew word for whoredom is Zenah; for to commit adultery, rarely of involuntary ravishment. The Jewish people are regarded as the spouse of Jehovah. God told Hosea to marry a harlot named Gomer. So you say why would God tell his prophet to marry a harlot? It was so Hosea could understand how God felt when Israel played Zenah. There was a  Baptist minister who married a Gomer, and he found out about it when he was diagnosed with HIV. The minister took medication and was healed, but he never forgave his wife. So in a moment of rage, he shot and murdered his wife, and called 911 to confess to the crime. How would it have been better for him if he had forgiven her as Hosea forgave Gomer, and she became a good wife? He went to prison instead for his crime and lost the Church he was pastoring. Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place. Psalm 139:23,24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. The key to victory is to turn to the Lord, allow Him to search you every day, know your thoughts, see if there is any wicked way in you, and then confess. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. We must do all these things to turn to the Lord for salvation. Thank God for Hosea, and for teaching us the lesson of forgiveness and restoration. Gomer repented and became a great wife. Israel will repent in the last days and return to Jehovah God her husband, when she shall say blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

  • #For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:3  When leaders lack vision the people perish

The Hebrew word for vision is Chazown; for a sight ( mentally), i.e. a dream, revelation, or oracle. We are at the time of the end and God has placed us as watchmen. I will stand upon my watch and set me upon a tower and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith. Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons, and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. God is telling us that the just shall live by faith. For without faith, it is impossible to please God. A rewarder who comes to God must believe He is of those who diligently seek him. When leaders lack vision the people perish. When the wicked rule, the righteous moan, but when the righteous rule, the people rejoice. We are seeing the government dismantled, and programs that did away with segregation abolished. Plessy vs. Ferguson is once again the law of the land. God has warned us to be at peace with all men, and be holy, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord. It is time for the righteous to cry out to God, for the vision is for an appointed time, and though it tarry, it shall come to pass. Government is ordained of God, and we must pray for our leaders, who are like grasshoppers, who are here for a while, then are done away with. God is a buckler for the poor, and He will vindicate the poor when the rich seek to swallow them up in their pride. Call upon the Lord in a time of trouble, and He will show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not. Preachers must declare thus sayeth the Lord, for righteousness shall run as a mighty river. Thank God that He hears our prayers, and when we walk righteously, He will reward us. Thank God that Jesus is coming again to establish His kingdom, and the Government shall be upon His shoulders. There will be peace in the valley for thee. Faith is our victory over this world. So stand your watch, repent of your sins, and cry out to Jesus Lord save me.

  • #Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God received him. Romans 14:3 Judge not lest ye be judged.

The Greek word for despise; is Exoutheneo; for Contemptible or least esteemed. and set at naught. Who art thou that judges another man's servant? to his master he stands or falleth Yea he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Judge not lest ye be judged. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regarded the day, regardeth it unto the Lord, and he that regarded not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for He giveth God thanks and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and gives God thanks. Let us live our lives to the glory of God, for every man should be fully persuaded in his mind. For it is Christ who died, yea, and is risen from the dead so that we can have liberty in His name. Eating does not justify us in the sight of the Lord. We must be careful not to be a stumbling block to our fellow brothers or sisters in the Lord. For God shall bring every work into judgment. Therefore let whatever we do let it be for the glory of God. The Greek word for eat is Esthio; for to eat. used only in certain tenses, the rest being supplied by Phago; to devour Luke 17:8 And will not rather say unto Him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve Me until I have eaten and drunken and afterward thou shalt eat and drink. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

  • #Defraud ye not one the other, except it is with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer and come together again, that Satan tempts you not for your incontinency. 1 Corinthians 7:5     Husbands and wives come together.

The Greek word for defraud is Apostereo; for to despoil and to deprive or kept back by fraud. Paul is telling husbands and wives to come together for romance. The only time they are not to do that is when they can agree to fast and pray to the Lord for a season, and then come back together so the devil cannot tempt them for their lack of self-control. Paul said I speak this by permission, and not a commandment, for I would like all men to be like me. But every man hath his proper gift of God., one after that, and another after this manner. Paul had the gift of Celibacy. He could say that I burn not, but not all are given this gift of God. We must use our gifts for the glory of God, and that is what Paul did for he wrote 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament. So he was busy doing the Lord's work. However not all have this gift, and he said it is better to marry than to burn in lust. Therefore, husbands and wives come together. For everyone is tempted by their own lust, and when lust is finished it brings forth death. So only fast and pray for a season, and then do your conjugal duties to each other. How long is a season, would be no longer than three months. Do not deprive one another, so the devil cannot have a stronghold in your marriage. When this is done the way God has commanded you will have a happy marriage. So think about it and talk about it. Then the Lord will be glorified in your marriage. For marriage is honorable in the sight of God, and the bed undefiled, but adulterers and fornicators will be judged. May the Lord bless husbands and wives to come together.

  • #Blessed  be the God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 11 Corinthians 1:3,4

The Greek word for comfort is Pairakaleo; for to call near and give help. My prayers go out to Morgan Annibel who has two children to take care of from her Uncle who just passed away. She is in trouble, and the God of all comfort needs to care for her. We are all in trouble and God is calling us to come near to Him, for He is a ever present help in a time of trouble. The devil is the accuser of the brethren and tells us we are not worthy to live and to take our lives. This is a sign of mental illness if you are hearing voices telling you to do that. Call 988 and get the counseling that you need and the medication to take care of that chemical imbalance that you have in the brain. Do not be ashamed to seek help when you are dilusional and having paranoia. I hope you will see how God places the right people to be by us at the right time when we are in trouble. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the suffering enduring which also we suffer; or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. We have in our bodies, the sentence of death, so that we can be resurrected from the dead by our Lord Jesus Christ. So rejoice in the Lord and be of good cheer. Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome this world. Thank God for His mercy endures to all generations. We use to sing the old hymn of the Church " We have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord, trusting in His Word" God will never fail us, so do not give up if you are feeling hopeless, God is able to save unto the uttermost, all those who call upon Him. Pray this prayer Lord Jesus come into my heart, cleanse me of all my sins, I receive you as my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God has raised you from the dead, and I confess with my mouth that He is Lord. May the Lord bless you richly my brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • #And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way and God repented of the evil He had said that He would do unto them and He did it not. Jonah 3:10  God never changes

The Hebrew word for repented is Nacham; for to be sorry, to pity, console, to avenge, and comfort. God never changes, He is the same today, and tomorrow. This is an Anthropomorphic term that helps us who change, to understand God. Jonah preached the message of judgment " Yet in forty days Ninevah will be overthrown" So the people believed the word of the Lord and turned from their evil ways, So God loved them and did not allow the evil to come upon them, had they not repented. We can thank God that He gives us a second chance to turn from our sins before He judges us. We need to love people as God loves people and seek to win them to the Lord Jesus Christ. God is patient with us and gives us time to repent be sorry for our sins and change our minds about Jesus. What a blessing this verse is for us because God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world by Him could be saved. Jonah never learned his; lesson, as he built a camp to watch and see if the people had repented. So God caused a goude to grow up and protect Jonah from the sun. Jonah was happy until God caused a worm to eat the goude. Then Jonah wants to die. He is clinically depressed, and so God asked him if he should not have saved these people who could not discern between their right or their left hand. Jonah had to think about the goodness of God, We must love people more than things. We all like sheep have gone astray, and each according to his way, and the Lord Sent His Son to die for the sins of us all. We need to reciprocate this love for others. God commended His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. What love is this, that we should have for one another and stop hating, and discriminating against each other? Only by the Grace of God are we saved and we must take this message of repentance to a lost world. May the Lord help us to get over our mental illness and start loving our neighbor as ourselves. Love fulfills the law, and Jesus has commanded us to love one another just as God has loved us. It is my prayer that this message of repentance that Jonah has preached will touch your heart so that the grace of God will save you by placing your faith in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
