A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

We thank God for former President Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States of America, a Peace Prize winner, a champion of Civil Rights, and Habitat For Humanity. Most importantly He taught us how to be a servant. Jesus said the greatest among us shall be a servant of all. Jimmy Carter was the best president for all the things he did after leaving the White House. He loved all people, and the Scripture tells us by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples by the love that you have one for the other. We thank God that he is now in heaven rejoicing with First Lady Rosalynn Carter at the feet of Jesus. Just as Jacob left a godly legacy for his children, so did Jimmy Carter and they will have a lifetime to finish the work that he did in Plains Georgia. Saving the environment from climate change, and continuing to keep the faith that he passed on to them. The United States has come together in a bi-partisan way to unite around the legacy of Jimmy Carter and we thank God for this. We pray for President-Elect Trump to continue this unity in his administration. The Hebrew word for ghost is Gava; for to expire, and as Jimmy Carter lived 100 years as the longest President, he has yielded up a great legacy for all of us to learn how to love our brothers and sisters as God has commanded us. Hear O Israel this is the first and great commandment that thou would love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and the second is like unto it, thou must love thy neighbor as thyself. We can do this just like Jimmy Carter did all his life, and when we are gathered at the end of commanding our children, we too can yield up our spirit to the Lord.

The Hebrew word for plummet is Eben; for a stone; from the root of Banah; for to build. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The Lord Jesus called Peter Cephus, for stone, and He said on this stone I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Though all hell is coming against the church, it still stands, for Jesus is the cornerstone that the builders rejected and has become the head of the corner on which all the stones are connected. Therefore do not despise the day of small things. I won the $5 lotto from Purchase Clearing House and I thank God for this. I was told I won the $13,000,000 Lottery from A.M.P.G and have spent over thousands of dollars and still have yet to collect it. So you see it is easy to collect small things. God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He has His seven for the eyes of Jehovah that run to and fro through the whole earth. We will rejoice in the Lord, for He makes all things right and will punish those who lie and deceive others. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but the fear of man is a snare. Jesus told us not to fear man for all he can do is destroy the body, but God can destroy body and soul in the Lake of Fire which is hell. So who will you fear? I say fear the Lord and keep His commandments. For His commandments are not burdensome. Speak the truth to your fellow man and do not defraud. For we must all stand before the Judgment seat of Christ and give an account of the things done in the body, good and bad. Thank God for small things, for Jesus said what is right I will pay, Genesis 49:24 But His bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel) Jesus is the Shepherd of Israel and He is coming back to set up His kingdom and rule with an iron rod. Make sure you are doing the will of God, for He will dash into pieces all those who speak lies and do not the truth.

The Hebrew word for concubines; is Pilegesh; meaning a paramour. And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her. Now when every maid's turn has come to go into king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odors and with other things for the purifying of the women) Then thus came every maiden unto the king: whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house. So Esther was taken unto King Ahasuerus into his royal house in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti. This book is about the providence of God, and how He used Esther, to save the Jewish people from genocide. The name of God is not mentioned in this book, but the hand of God moves and causes King Ahasuerus to love Esther above all the virgins. Who knows but God has called Esther to come into the kingdom for such a time as this. The Jews celebrate Purim, to remember what Esther did in saving the Jews. God works in mysterious ways, and when it seems like God is not moving pray to Him for He makes all things beautiful in His time. Mordecai was right to enter Esther into the beauty contest, and God in His providence used that to promote Esther. Promotion comes neither from the East nor the West, promotion comes from the Lord. So wait on the Lord for He makes all things beautiful in His time. For we know all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. So praise God in all things and give thanks in every situation for this is the will of God for us in Christ Jesus.

The Hebrew word for multiply is Rabah; for to be or become much, many, or great. Solomon was the wisest man to live on the earth and the book of Proverbs has all his wisdom. However, the book of Ecclesiastes records all of his vanity in which he said all is vanity. Jehovah God warned Israel when they appointed a king of their brethren, they were not to multiply horses, wives, or silver and gold greatly. Solomon did all these things and God said his heart was not after King David his father who was a man after God's heart. 1 Kings 11:1-4 But King Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go into them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines, and his wives turned away his heart. When Solomon was old, it came to pass that his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. The Hebrew word for perfect is Shalem; for complete, safe, and at peace. This word is similar to Shalom, for when you walk with God as King David did, you are Shalem, and have Shalom in the kingdom. King David gave a united kingdom unto Solomon, but all these wives took away his Shalem, and he had no Shalom in his heart toward Jehovah God. This is a lesson for us as to why we are not to practice polygamy or polytheism. The Lord thy God is a jealous God, and thou shalt not have any other gods beside Him. When we practice monogamy, our hearts are united to worship only the Lord.

The Hebrew word for Look is Panah; for to turn, to face, and appear. A primitive root; to turn, by implication, to face, i.e. Appear, etc Isaiah: 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. Jesus calls us to turn to Him to be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is none else. We all like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, Jehovah God hath laid on Jesus, the sin of us all. And He said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto Me, except it was given unto him of my Father. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked no more with Him. Then Jesus said unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Peter answered correctly, Thou hast the words of eternal life, to whom shall we go? Many people are turning to money, instead of the Lord. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. No man can serve God and mamon. Many have turned their backs on the Lord God, who only can save us. We look at many things, but as Paul said this one thing I do, forgetting that which is behind, I press for the upward call in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is how we can be saved, by leaving our past behind, turning our eyes on Jesus, and looking at His glorious face, and the things of the world will pass away. I pray that you will look to Jesus for salvation and call upon Him now.

The Greek word for mystery is Mysterion; for a secret doctrine. From a derivative of Muo (to shut the mouth), the idea of silence is imposed by initiation into religious rites. 1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him, howbeit, in the Spirit he speaketh mysteries. This is the unknown mystery that God the Holy Spirit will not reveal until He is taken away from restraining evil. The world is bad now, but when the Holy Spirit is removed, all hell breaks loose on the earth. God is giving man time to repent of his sins before He sends judgment on this earth. We need to warn others about the Day of the Lord coming which is darkness, and multitudes will be in the valley of decision. The world will not know when the tribulation starts, for the man of sin, will sign a seven-year peace treaty with Israel and it will work for 3.5 years, then plagues, famines, pestilence, and inflation will break out on the earth. The church will be raptured before the Day of the Lord comes, for there will not be any signs before the rapture, for it is imminent and we must be ready every day. For the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, the voice of an arc angel, and the trumpet of God, then the dead in Christ will be raised first, then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds to forever be with the Lord. After the tribulation, the stars will fall from heaven, and the sun will not shine, then Jesus will return on the Mount of Olives to set up His Kingdom on the earth.

The Greek word for benevolence is Eunoia; for goodwill, from the same Eunoeo; for kindness, euphemistically, conjugal duty. Song of Solomon 1:7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions? Song of Solomon 1:13 A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. The Hebrew word for love is Aheb. Marriage is based on intimacy and Paul is giving his advice to husbands and wives to have due benevolence from one to the other just as Solomon describes the love of the Shulamite woman to her husband. Their wife's breasts should ravish their husbands at all times. This is how to keep the romance in your marriage. Only come apart for a season for fasting and prayer, then come back together so that you will not be tempted. Make a New Year's Resolution to be more intimate with your spouse, and let the world see how marriage is when couples love one another as God has commanded. Just love one another as Christ loves the Church and gave His life for her. When husbands do that the wife will respond with love for him. Song of Solomon is a great poem to read, for it is Hebrew poetry, and it tells the story of the love that Solomon had for the Shulamite bride. We as preachers have not taught enough about the Song of Solomon, partly because some say you cannot use these terms in the pulpit. Well if we do not tell the congregation how marriage is supposed to be, then they will learn on the Internet or from Chatbots, which are robots preaching to people.

Happy New Year! 2025 The Hebrew word for glad is Samach; meaning to rejoice. To brighten up, to be gleesome. To cheer up, and make joyful. As we rejoice to see another year, we thank God for delivering us from all the trials and tribulations of last year. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. This is the blessed hope that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. So let us live this day with joy knowing that the Lord could come and take us to heaven at any moment. So live each day rejoicing in the Lord and let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus Philippians 2:6 Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in the fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto to death of the cross. Wherefore, God has also hath highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God. This is why we rejoice in this day.

The Hebrew word for thoughts is Machashebeth; for cunning work, curious work, imagination, means, and purpose. From Chashab; a contrivance, i.e. (concretely) a texture, machine, (abstractly) intention, plan (whether bad, a plot, or good advice) We are on the brink of 2025, and it is good to know that Jehovah God has a plan for us, of peace, and not evil, to give us an expected end. Jeremiah was the true prophet. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not called them, saith the LORD. For thus saith the LORD, that after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD, and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. Thank Jehovah God, who is forgiving, and will restore us when we seek Him with all our hearts. Do not listen to the false prophets telling lies, or your dreams. Turn to the Lord with all your heart and acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your pathway.

The Hebrew word for success is Sakal; meaning to be prudent, circumspect, and intelligent. God has called Joshua to lead the children of Israel. Psalm 119:99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. This book of the Law thou shalt meditate therein day and night. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? Thy word have I hidden in my heart that I shall not sin against God. This is the key to success and prosperity. Always start your day with the Word of God, and thank God for allowing you to see another day. For our times are in His hands. Seach me Oh God and know my heart, see if there be any wicked way in me, and if there be lead me in the way everlasting. Joshua did this and the Lord blessed him to lead the children of Israel into the promised land. Moses led them out of Egypt, into the wilderness, but the people murmured against the Lord, and Moses hit the rock when he was to speak to it to get water. Because of that disobedience, Moses was not allowed to lead the children of Israel into the promised land. This is a very important lesson for us to finish what we started. This is what Joshua did, for he said as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord.
