A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet. 2 Samuel 9:3 Take care of the disabled.
The Hebrew word for lame is Nakeh; for contrite, i.e. maimed, or dejected. King David loved Jonathan and was happy to know that he had a son, and even though he was lame, King David still loved him. This is one of David's most kind acts, for when a ruler dies, the King kills everyone in his line, who would be a potential heir to the throne. Yet King David was kind to the heirs of Saul and showed the Hebrew word for kindness and Checed for pity. And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar. Then King David sent and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar. Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face and did reverence. And David said Mephibosheth, And he answered, Behold thy servant! God wants us to take care of the disabled. These lame people need all the help they can get, and King David treated Mephibosheth, like a son. They would talk together about Jonathan, his father, whom David loved. We have a heavenly Father who sent His only begotten Son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, to heal us of our lame feet, and we should talk about Jesus and how much He loves us. Thank God that He keeps our lame feet from falling into sin, we have to give glory to God for healing us of our deceases. Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. Oh let us bless the Lord at all times and let His praises be forever upon our lips. God heard the cries of Mephibosheth and sent King David to show Checed, or kindness unto him all the days of his life. I pray that the Government will continue to take care of the disabled with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Thank God for former President George H.W. Bush for signing this act into law, and people like me who are disabled can get the reasonable accommodations needed to work a job and apply for Social Security Disabilities Income. May what King David did for Mephibosheth be spoken of at all times, as well as the love that King David had for Jonathan. God loves us with everlasting love, and we love Him because He first loved us.
#Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 Make peace with God.
The Greek word for peace; Eirene; for prosperity, and rest. He that loves Me not keeps not my sayings, and the word which ye hear is not mine but the Father's which sent Me. Make peace with God, and you will find rest and prosperity for your soul. Jesus came into this world to make peace for us, by shedding His blood on Mount Calvary, and now we are accepted in the Beloved when we place our faith in Him. These things have I spoken unto you, being present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. What does it mean to have peace with God? Wherefore shall a young man cleanse his way? Thy Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against God. Jesus sent us the comforter, the Paraclete who will be with you, and in you. The Holy Spirit comes aside from us when we place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and makes peace with us. We are being changed from glory to glory. We are no longer at enmity with God for He no longer sees our sins, for they are cast as far as the east from the west. He sets us free from the power of sin, by placing us in heavenly places with Jesus who is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us. Now we are no longer troubled, for the old things are passed away, and all things have become new. Great peace have they that love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. Jesus said in my Father's house are many mansions, and if it were not so, I would have told you, for I go to prepare a place for you that where I am, there ye shall be also. True prosperity, and no longer any fear of death, for the prince of this world has been judged. The accuser of the brethren has been cast down, and we are at peace with God, just as when Adam walked in the Garden of Eden with God. What a glorious time it is to have fellowship with the Father, and to walk in the light as He is in the light while the blood if Jesus cleanses us of all sin. I pray that you will accept Jesus today as your Lord and Savior and Make peace with God.
#But if she departs, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled with her husband, and let the husband not put away his wife. 1 Corinthians 7:11 Husbands put not away your wives.
The Greek word for unmarried is Agamos; for not wedded. From Gamos for marriage, and nuptials, as in Greek writings from Homer. Paul is speaking by the power of the Holy Spirit that if the wife departs, she is to remain agamos, or single, or be reconciled to her husband. and husbands put not away your wives. God created marriage and told man it is not good for him to be alone, but to have a help-meet. But to the rest speak I, not the Lord, if any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she is pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. This is not Paul's opinion, but he is speaking by the power of the Holy Spirit. The marriage blesses the children and the wife. One of the reasons why we have so many dysfunctional homes is because husbands are putting away their wives when they should remain together. Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers will be judged. When the husband puts away his wife, he causes her to commit adultery. The family is destroyed and society suffers from not having a strong family unit. It is my prayer that if you are having a hard time in your marriage you seek out counseling. and by doing you can save your marriage. It is not easy being separated, as I can speak from experience, it is far better when a man is united with his wife and enjoying conjugal duties. And the woman which hath a husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. As Christians, we must take the high road and do the right thing, so that the gospel is not blasphemed. Therefore when the Lord doth appear He will reward you, for in heaven they are neither married nor given in marriage. So enjoy it down here and rejoice with the wife of thy youth, and let her breast satisfy thee always.
#For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 2 Corinthians 5:2 Groan for Jesus
The Greek word for groan is Stenazo; to make in distress ( in a tight spot) to sigh and pray inaudible with grief. Paul is telling the story about this earthly tent in which we live. We sigh and pray inaudibly with grief, desiring to be clothed with our heavenly bodies. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore, Groan for Jesus, so that He can appear and we shall be like Him. There are three things in this passage; We want to be like Jesus, and We want to be with Jesus, and finally, We want to live forever. God is molding us daily into the image of His Son through trials and tribulations. We are the clay and He is the potter, and God is chipping away, at everything in our lives that does not look like Jesus. And secondly, Jesus prayed for us to behold His glory as the only begotten of the Father. One day we will transition from our earthly tabernacle to our heavenly one that has been prepared for us. Jesus said let not your hearts be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in Me, for in my Father's house there are many mansions, and if it were not so, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you that where I am, there ye shall be also. Finally, Jesus said I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish. God has placed eternity in our hearts, and He makes all things beautiful in His time. One day we will breathe our last breath in these bodies, and we will be absent from the body and present with the Lord. Paul had an out-of-body experience where he was caught up in the third heaven. He heard and saw things too beautiful for him to speak about. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard the wonderful things that God has in store for all those who love Him. My prayers are with my cousin Donna as her mother has transitioned to heaven. She is now in the presence of Jesus being comforted. May the Lord comfort us in her passing and allow us to Groan for Jesus. Oh to be like Him, Oh, to be with Him, and Oh to be living forever in heaven. This is our prayer and one day Jesus will answer it and usher us into His presence. May the Lord prepare our hearts to receive this blessed hope,
#If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1
The Greek word for risen is Sunegeiro; for to rouse from death, to revivify, to raise up together. Paul is challenging the Colossians that now that the old man has been crucified, we must rouse from death to life in the Lord Jesus Christ who is seated at the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. It is like we have been raised from the dead to new life in Christ and we must live like it. For ye are dead and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory. For it does not appear what we shall be. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not appear what we shall be; but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. This is a purifying hope that we have and we must look for the blessed hope of the glorious appearance of Jesus Christ every day. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and is the body more than raiment? James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time and vanishes away. 1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you. When we do this we will be ready for Jesus to appear to us, either in the air or sleeping in the grave. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, the voice of an arc angel, at the last trumpet, the dead in Christ shall be raised first, then we who are alive and remain shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and caught up in the clouds to forever be with the Lord. Therefore, let us comfort one another with these words. Live life every day as we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. May the Lord bless you to do all these things and when Jesus comes you will be accepted in the Beloved.

#In that thou lovest thine enemies and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well. 2 Samuel 19:6
The Hebrew name for Absalom; is Abiyshalowm; meaning father of, peace. What a contrast for the beloved son of King David to be called a father of peace and he drove King David out of the kingdom by insurrection. David loved his son and said Oh to God if I had died, Oh Absalom my son. Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now. Then the king arose and sat in the gate. And they told unto the people saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent. All the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying that the king saved us out of the hand of the Philistines, and now he has fled out of the land for Absalom. Nathan told King David that because of what he had done, the rod would not leave his house. And how true this was, for all the tumults of King David were known in his house as Amnon raped his sister Tamar, and Absalom led a revolt in the kingdom driving King David from it. Before the adultery with Bathsheba, we saw all the victories of King David, but afterward, we saw all the tumults of King David. Jesus tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who despitefully use us. All the people were confused to see King David loving his enemies more than his friends, They thought if Absalom had lived and all had died that day, then it would have pleased King David well. The scripture tells us to be sure our sins will find us out. We must be fast to repent and confess our sins to the Lord and make things right with our fellow man. For God will bring every work into judgment. Psalm 51 is written by King David and he said to restore unto me the joy of thy salvation. The truth is when we sin we lose the joy of our salvation. So be sure to confess your sins before God who is faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. King David was a man after God's heart, and he repented of all the sins that he committed, and God forgave him. This is a great lesson to us, to forgive as God has forgiven us for Christ's sake.

#Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13,14
The Greek word for apprehended is Katalambano, which means to take eagerly, i.e., seize, possess, etc. We must forget the past, for we have an enemy who delights in accusing us of our past. Paul had much to forget, as a persecuter of the Church and he learned to forget not only his past failures but also his pedigree. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Jesus died on the cross for all our sins, past, present, and future tense. So we must forget those things which are behind, and press toward the mark for the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. When we do that we put to death that old man with his deeds, and put on the new man made after the righteousness of Christ by faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. We can leave old friends and make new friends. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, but delights in the law of the Lord on which he meditates day and night. This is the key to forgetting the past. When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future in the Lake of fire. Paul did not attain perfection, but he learned to press forward, and not look backward. It is just like driving a car, you look forward and in the rear view mirrow, just to remind you that in order to get to your destination, you have to avoid the abstacles on your way. God gives us the grace to live the Christian life looking at Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven, interceding for us. Jesus promised never to leave us, and to be with us always until the end of the age. So with that perspective we can press forward toward the mark of Christ, and one day Jesus will call us home either in death, or in the rapture to forever be with Him.
#And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou King Jehoshaphat, that saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 Chronicles 20:15
The Hebrew word for Hearken is Qashab; for to prick up the ears, or give heed, incline, mark, and regard. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon thee. What do we do when we are faced with overwhelming odds? We must look to the Lord and prick up our ears and give heed to what the Lord is telling us to do. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. Then Jahaziel the son of Zachariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation. What great faith these men had when faced with the enemy. King Jehoshaphat said to be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's. The faith of a mustard seed moves mountains, and this is the faith that we must have when we are fighting giants. Tomorrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you. O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. What a great victory Jehovah God gave Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Remember to worship the Lord God at all times. For God doth fight our battles, seen and unseen. Give God all the glory and the praise, and sing songs of worship to the Lord for His great victory in your midst. May the Lord be magnified in my body, in life or in death.
#Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. Proverbs 5:18,19 Husbands love your wives.
The Hebrew word for fountain is maqowr; for something dug; also of tears, by euphemism, of the female pudenda. Husbands love your wives and be ravished by them at all times. Let thy fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Wives love and submit to their husbands; do not abandon them but nourish them. This is great advice Solomon is giving to husbands and wives. Too many husbands will not love their wives because they say they are too fat. Well, wives seek to lose weight and make themselves look ravishing. And why wilt thou my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings. Song of Solomon 1:10 Thy cheeks are comely with the rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold. This is how wives should dress for their husbands to get them to ravish their love. Do not be ashamed to show yourselves beautiful and have that inner beauty of a meek and quiet spirit. For this is of a great price in the sight of God. A bundle of myrrh is my Wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts Song of Solomon 1:13 For God gave wives these for a good purpose, and glorify God in your bodies with your husband. It is my prayer that wives will be beautiful to their husbands so that they will ravish them at all times. God said it is not good for man to be alone, so be a companion to him all the days of their lives.
#Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Ephesians 4:19
The Greek word for uncleanness is Akatharsia; for impurity ( physically or morally) But ye have not so learned Christ. Ye must put off concerning the former conversation with the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts. If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, for the former things are passed away, and all things have become new. Speak the truth with your neighbor and walk in righteousness and holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God has not called us to uncleanness, but unto holiness. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor. And love ye one another, but as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you. God is holy and ye must be holy. We cannot of ourselves be holy, but by the Holy Spirit, for He sets us apart. Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; This is how we live the Christian life and prove ourselves as true disciples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; And having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. Let him that stole, steal no more but work with his hands giving to those who have need. May the grace of God be with you all in Jesus's name I pray Amen.
