A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Happy Mother's Day!
The Hebrew word for wait is qavah, meaning to bind together and to expect. That is what all mothers have to do, they bind together the family to expect a great blessing from the Lord. Praise God for all the Mothers in heaven who are resting at Jesus' feet. Truly, they left us a legacy of waiting on the Lord patiently. Nine months is the gestational period for a mother, and she learns early how to wait on the Lord. Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: So the key Moms has taught us is to patiently wait upon Jehovah God, for He gives more strength when the burdens are great. This time of waiting prepares them for all the trials and tribulations of being a Mother. Praise God for giving us the Virgin Mary as the Mother of the Lord Jesus Christ, who, when she was told she was highly favored she said Behold the handmaiden of the Lord, be it unto me according to thy word. That is the key to the blessing of Motherhood, the Word of God, and meditate upon it daily. All the Mothers who do this become great Mothers. May the Lord inspire Mothers to do these things, and when they come to fruition, they will also say Behold, the handmaiden of the Lord be it unto me according to the Word.
#And if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me. John 12:32 Lift up Jesus
The Greek word for lifted is Hupsoo, meaning to elevate or exalt. We are here to lift up the Lord Jesus from the earth until He speaks from eternity. The people, therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it thundered; others said, An angel spake to him. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of Me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Jesus is speaking of Satan as the prince of this world, and God the Father spoke these words, as it thundered for their sake. This said Jesus, signifying what death He should die. The people answered Him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth forever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man? Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. Jesus spoke these words because He must die on the cross for the sins of the world, and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of man must be lifted up on the cross. Jesus is the light of the world, and we must walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Lift up Jesus today, in your conversation and your walk. Let people know that He is your Lord and Savior. Do not be ashamed of him, for if any man is ashamed of Him, then Jesus will be ashamed of you. So lift up Jesus today.
#And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me. 1 Samuel 25:32.
The Hebrew word for LORD is Jhovah, for the self-Existent or Eternal Jehovah, the Jewish national name of God. Abigail had told David that a man had risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling. And it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have done to my lord according to all the good that He hath spoken concerning thee, and shall have appointed thee ruler over Israel; That this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offense of heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself; but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid. So David said Blessed be thy advice and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand. For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall. So David received from her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person. Abigail saved David from shedding causeless blood, and she would become his wife. This is a great lesson on how a woman was in a bad marriage but waited on the Lord to make a way for her to be delivered. So God gave her wisdom on advising David as his handmaid, and David remembered her. Praise be to Jehovah God, who always leads us into triumphant victories in the Lord Jesus Christ and has given us the wisdom on how to live a godly life. I pray that you will wait on the Lord and trust in Him with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path.
#And it came to pass, that when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; Acts 22:17
The Greek word for trance is Ekstasis, for a displacement of the mind, i.e., bewilderment, ecstasy, or to be amazed. Paul was chosen, the God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know His will, and see that just One, and shouldest hear the voice of His mouth. For thou shalt be His witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. And now why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. So we get in a trance when God has given us a great revelation, as the Lord had given to Paul, and saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning Me. When the Holy Spirit puts us in a trance, we must take heed, for something great is about to happen in our lives. And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on Thee: And when the blood of thy Martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. This event troubled Paul all his life; he knew if he was going to do something great for the Lord, he would have to have faith like Stephen, the church's first martyr. We do not know all the things we will suffer as Christians, but Jesus told us that if we are to be His disciples, then we must deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. This involves suffering, and Paul suffered like no man before him. It is my prayer that ye will take your life and present it as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God as your reasonable service. When we are ready to do that, then God can use us for His glory. Let us be a witness for the Lord, and always be ready to give a reason for our faith, to everyone who asks with meekness by the power of the Holy Spirit.
#Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Greek word for overcome; is Nikao. Meaning to subdue, prevail, or get the victory. If it is possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirsts, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ our Lord, and therefore must not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Jesus said to pray for those who despise us and love our enemies. This is the Sermon on the Mount; to live by it, you must be born again. For that which is of the flesh is flesh, but that which is of the Spirit is eternal. For it is like the wind, we can not tell where it is going or where it comes from. So are all those who are born of the Spirit. God has given us His Holy Spirit to live inside of us, which produces the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, longsuffering, peace, meekness, and self-control. Against such, there is no law. So allow the Holy Spirit to produce these fruits inside of you, and you will not be overcome by evil, but will overcome evil with good. The Spirit will tell us to do good to those who do evil to us, and love those who hate us. This is not natural, so seek not to avenge yourselves, for vengeance is of the Lord and He will repay. So ask the Lord to teach you how to love people, and pray for them to be saved. It is hard not to love those you are praying for, and this is how we overcome evil with good. Give place for God's wrath, for we should pray, Lord, in wrath, remember mercy. For His mercies are new every morning, for great is thy faithfulness, Oh God, my redeemer. Be at peace with all men and follow holiness, for without holiness no man will see the Lord. We are made holy by the blood of Jesus. As we walk in the light, we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. The scripture says If it is possible to live peaceably with all men. All things are possible to those who believe in God.
#And I heard another voice from heaven, saying Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:4 Beware of the Harlot
The Greek word for plagues is Plege, for a stroke, a wound, or a calamity. Beware of the Harlot who is the mystery Babylon that will cause all the nations to commit fornication with her and get rich by her sins. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled to her double. How much she hath glorified herself and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she hath said in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, mourning, and famine, and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. All you who are in the apostate church, come out of her, lest ye be partakers of her sins, and receive her plagues. Jesus is standing at the door and knocking, and all who open the door, He will come in and have dinner with thee. Repent and buy gold tried in the fire, and put on clothes so that He will not see thy nakedness. It is my prayer that you will take heed to this warning and repent, for all those whom He loves He chastens in the fire. Lift up your heads and be thankful for salvation is of the Lord and He will save unto the uttermost all those who call upon Him.
#Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world, he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 Walk while you have the Light.
The Greek word for light is Phos, meaning Luminousness and to shine and make manifest. Jesus told us to walk while we have the Light. Jesus is the Light of the world, and whoever follows Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Jesus had just released the woman caught in adultery, and the Pharisees who were trying to trip Him up said unto Him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of Myself, yet My record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come and whether I go. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. Now the Father has committed all judgment unto the Son, at the appointed time, and Jesus is now in the world seeking to save the lost. So Jesus is justified in not judging any man, for He is waiting until the Father makes all His enemies His footstool. So, walk while you have the Light, for Jesus is the light of the world, exposing darkness. Jesus as light and darkness cannot co-exist, so it is that Jesus has come to expose the darkness, so that He as the light of men can shine in their hearts. If you love the light, then you will come unto the light. If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, then the blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sin. Therefore, walk while ye have the Light. Do not follow those walking in darkness, for their works are evil and prove that they are not children of God. Jesus said ye judge after the flesh, but I judge no man. The Word of God judges us and proves that if we walk in the Light, then we are the children of God. Paul, who was walking on the Damascus road, saw a great light, and heard a voice," Why are you persecuting Me, Paul asked Who art thou? Jesus said He is persecuting the Church, and I died for them. Then Jesus told him Why do you fight against the pricks? Then Paul was blinded by the light and Jesus told him to go to Ananias to open thine eyes. Jesus then tells Paul he is a chosen vessel, and he will suffer many things. So it is when we walk in the light, the darkness will flee and persecute the light. Jesus said I must do the works of Him who has sent Me into the world. As the world has hated Me, they will hate you. In this world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Faith is our victory over this world, so faith comes by hearing the word of God.
#For if ye love them which love you, what thanks have ye? For sinners also love those that love them. Luke 6:32 live by the Sermon on the Mount
The Greek word for love is Agapao, which means to love wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Jesus is telling us to live by the Sermon on the Mount. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thanks have ye? for sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and evil. This is how you live by the Sermon on the Mount. To do that, you must have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior. God causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust alike, and He causes the sun to shine on the just and the unjust alike. This is true love and the kind of love that God expects of all His children who are filled with the Holy Spirit. So seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all of the righteousness, then all these things will be added unto you.
#Great peace have they who love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. Psalms 119:165 Thou shalt love the Law
The Hebrew word for Love in this context is Ahab, meaning to have affection for. The Psalmist says Great peace have they who love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. Thou shalt love the Law. I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. I hate and abhor lying, but thy law do I love. Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee. Thou shalt love the Law, and great peace shall thou have, and nothing shall offend thee. It is no wonder that many people are offended these days, and it is because they do not love the law. Thou wilt keep thee in perfect peace because thou trustest in Thee. So if you want to be delivered from offenses, then love the law, and hate and abhor lying. Speak the truth to thy neighbor, and Jehovah God shall give thee great peace. Jesus said You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. Thou shalt love the law, for it is the truth and tells us that we need a Savior, Jesus Christ, the righteous One. Then praise God seven times a day, because of the righteous judgments. When you love the law, you will have great peace and can treat people right. It is my prayer that you will pray to the Lord Jehovah to increase the love for the law. Life will be so wonderful, and you will not go through life being offended. Seven is the number for completion, and God wants us to be completely in love with His law. For righteous and true are all thy judgments. Isaiah 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness, but thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. Daniel 9:11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him. This is the reason people do not have peace, because they do not love thy law and have departed that they might not obey thy voice. We must repent and make a complete change of mind and love the law. Psalms 119:97 O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all day. This is how we get the peace of God by meditation on thy Law all day long.
#Behold, thou art fair, my love: behold thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from Mount Gilead. Song of Solomon 4:1 Thou art fair, My love
The Hebrew word for love in this context is Rayah, meaning a female associate or lover. Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them. Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks. Thy neck is like the tower of David, a builder for an armory, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. King Solomon is telling the Shulamite wife Thou art fair, My love, for he loves her as an associate or lover. He has chosen adjectives describing her beauty. This is how a husband loves his wife and speaks to her so that she knows he loves her more than all women. This speaks of the love that the Lord Jesus has for the Church, and He is looking for a glorious Church without spot or blemish. Thou art fair, my love, is how husbands should greet their wives, showing that they are always on my mind. This love is so special that her temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks. He goes on to describe her neck like the Tower of David, a builder for an armory. How many marriages could be saved if husbands would address their wives this way? It speaks of the romance that a husband has for his wife and wanting to render due benevolence to her. This is a play on words of endearment and love. Thou art fair, my love must be spoken every day, despite your feelings for your wife, so she knows that she has your total loving kindness in heart. Having doves' eyes within thy locks speaks of her attention to dress and comeliness. If wives heard their husbands address them like that, they would love to be ravished by him every day, and would not say Honey, I have a headache. "How many wives hear those words of kindness from their husbands? Sorry to say, not enough, for the divorce rates would be much lower if they heard them every day. It is my prayer that husbands say Thou art fair, my love seven times a week, and you will see the love in your wife's eyes glow every day towards you.
