Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27:14 Be of good courage

The Hebrew word for courage is Chazaq, meaning to fasten upon, to seize, and be strong. Teach me thy way, O LORd, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over onto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. Be of good courage, and wait upon the LORD. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Just wait upon Jehovah God, and Be of good courage, for He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say upon the Lord, this poor man cried, and the Lord delivered him from all his troubles. Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and mount up with wings like an eagle, and walk and not faint, and run and not be weary. Be of good courage, and fasten upon the hope of the word of God, who promises never to leave us, or to forsake us, and will be with us until the end of the age. Count it all joy when you fall into diverse trials, and temptations, knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience. So be of good courage and wait on the Lord, for all of His promises are yes, and we say Amen to His glory. Whatever you are going through, Be of good courage, and the Lord will strengthen you. Be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. We have these promises as an anchor to our soul. Remember the words, if it had not been the Lord on my side, where would I be? Thank the Lord and give Him the glory, for He alone is worthy of all of our praises. My prayer is for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper who do so. Jesus is coming soon, so make sure your lamps are full of oil. Do not procrastinate, but wait, I say, on the Lord. Be of good courage and He will strengthen thine heart. Continue to ask God for wisdom, and He will give it to you.

  • #And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23   Jesus, our great healer

The Greek word for sickness is "nosos," meaning malady, moral disability, decease, or infirmity. And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him. And going on from thence, He saw two other brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and He called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed Him. Jesus, our great healer, is worthy to be followed. And His fame went throughout all Syria, and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy, and He healed them. And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decopolis, and Jerusalem, and Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. Jesus, our great healer, never lost a case. He healed all those who were afflicted with all manner of illnesses.

The Greek word for lunatic is Seleniazomai, meaning to be moon-struck or crazy. We see mental illness was rampant in Bible days, and Jesus healed all those moon-struck. We should never be ashamed to see a psychiatrist for mental illness. Just as sure as the body gets sick, so does the mind. Jesus healed them with all manner of diseases among the people, and he preached the gospel of the kingdom of God. We must follow Him also by reading the word of God every day and praying to Him. Jesus, our great healer, will never cast us away, and according to our faith, He heals us. I pray that you will have faith in God and believe His word, for all of his promises are true, and we say Amen to His glory.

  • #Neither repented they of their murders, nor their sorceries, nor their fornication, nor of their thefts. Revelation 9:21

The Greek word for sorceries is Pharmakeia, which means the use of drugs, potions, and enchantments, the occult, and witchcraft. By these three, the third part of men were killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: God will use twenty-one judgments to purge sin from the earth, because men would not repent of their murders, sorceries, fornication, nor of their thefts. We are living in days of sorrow, just before the tribulation falls upon the earth, and the Antichrist, called the beast, will come to power and deceive the whole world with his charisma. Come out from among them, and be not partakers of their sins, for all those who refuse to receive the love of the truth, will be given strong delusion, that they will believe their lies. Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and have no fellowship with the hidden deeds of darkness. For these are the days of vengeance when God will punish all those anti-semites. The Lord will seal 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will preach the everlasting gospel, and they will have the seal of God on their foreheads, and no one will harm them. Do not receive the mark of the beast, which is 666, the number of man, as man was created on the sixth day. Jesus will come and destroy the Antichrist and the false prophet who deceived the whole world with their lies. We are living just before these men come, as the Holy Spirit is holding them back, until the times of the Gentiles will come to an end. Then the Church will be caught up to be with the Lord in the clouds, and the seven-year tribulation will begin. We must occupy until Jesus comes, and warn men to repent before the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

  • #Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. 1 Chronicles 16:29 Give unto Jehovah God the glory due His name

The Hebrew word for holiness is Qodesh, for a sacred place or thing. For all the gods of the people are idols; but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honor are in His presence; strength and gladness are in His place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Fear before Him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth. Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein. Give unto Jehovah God the glory due His name, for He is holy and worthy of all our praises. Jehovah God is the self-existent one, and He rules in the heavens. Bring an offering and come before Him in the beauty of holiness. For He is sacred and must be praised in all places. The sea roars, the fields rejoice at the presence of the Lord. All the gods of the nations are idols, and Jehovah God made all the heavens and the earth. He sits in the third heaven with the Lord Jesus at His right hand, making intercession for us. O let us magnify the Lord today, and give thanks unto His holy name, for He is good, and His mercy endureth forever. The Hebrew word for name is Shem; for an appellation, as a mark or memorial. His name is Jehovah, and He must be praised at all times.

  • #For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8. Jesus is the light of the world

The Greek word for darkness is Skotos; for shadiness, i.e., obscurity, literally and figuratively.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Jesus is the light of the world. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but reprove them. This is how we are to walk as children of the light and as followers of Jesus Christ, for whoever is a friend of this world is an enemy of Christ. Love not the world, nor the things of this world, for all that is in the world is the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we will have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus shall cleanse us of all unrighteousness. For God is light and there is no darkness in Him, so walk as children of light. Jesus is the light of the world, and whoever follows Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. Be ye followers of me, as I follow Jesus Christ, and live a life of holiness, for without holiness shall no man see the Lord. For all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Walk in the Spirit and ye will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

  • #Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Lamentations 3:39 Be sure your sins will find you out

The Hebrew word for the punishment of sins is Chet, for a crime or its penalty. To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not evil and good? Be sure your sins will find you out. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Let us lift our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens. We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. His mercies are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. Repent of your sins, and He will forgive you; be sure your sins will find you out. Whosoever covers his sins, shall not prosper, but whoever confesses them and forsakes them, shall receive mercy. Do not complain because God has not dealt with us according to our sins.

Therefore, be quick to fall upon the mercy of the Lord. But if you continue in your sins, you will receive the just penalty for your crime. Be sure your sins will find you out. The bible is full of stories of those who tried to cover their sins, but God knows all our transgressions and our secret sins. King David said I will fall upon the Lord, for His mercy is great. This is the best thing for all of us to do. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and will forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we do this, God will pardon us and restore our fellowship. Search me, O God, and know my heart; see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Let God have His way with us, and we will say I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Praise God that He is good and His mercy endures unto all generations. The sins of the fathers are passed down unto the third generation, but God will pardon all those who forsake them and fall upon His mercy. Thy word have I hidden in my heart that I shall not sin against God. Let the wicked man forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and return to the Lord, and He will abundantly pardon. Do not complain when the Lord punishes you for your sin, but say righteous and true are all thy judgments. Be sure your sins will find you out. So be sure to repent right away, and pray to the Lord to create a clean heart in me.

  • #Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife. 1 Corinthians 7:27 Abide with your wife

The Greek word for wife is Gune, for a woman. Traditional marriage is what Paul is talking about. Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. Abide with your wife. I suppose, therefore, that this is good for the present distress. I say that it is good for a man to be so.  But if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless, such shall have trouble in the flesh, but I spare you. But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; Abide with your wife, and thank God for her. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for her. And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. Marriage is under attack by the devil, and he wants us to be loosed from a wife, and that is why he attacks marriages. Paul is saying that because of the present distress in the world, abide with your wife. Seek not another wife, or seek to get a divorce. Two are better than one, and if one falls, the other will help you up. This is why a threefold cord is not soon broken. Let God be the third member in your marriage, and He will keep it together through all the trials and tribulations. So if you have the gift of celibacy, then seek not a wife, but if you are burning with lust in your heart, pray to God for a wife. He that finds a good wife, has favor with God. I say this because I have a good wife, and although we have been separated for these nine years, I still love her and am waiting on God to put us back together. Marriage is not easy, for there will always be conflicts, but forgive one another and seek to live in peace. The children will be blessed when they see this, and the marriage will be holy. Abide with your wife, and tell her how much you love and appreciate her. She will positively respond to you, and your marriage will be blessed.

  • #And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. Numbers 12:1    Speak not evil of thy leader

The Hebrew word for Ethiopian is Kuwshiyth, meaning Cushite woman. Patronymically from Kuwsh; a Cushite, or descendant of Cush, Cushi. Meaning a son of Ham, also his descendants, also a land in the southern Nile Valley. This would explain the anger that Miriam and Aaron had against Moses, because the descendants of Ham were cursed because he looked upon his father Noah's nakedness. Speak no evil of thy leader, or of whom he marries. And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? Touch not God's anointed, do his prophets no harm. Hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it. This would explain why Jehovah God gave Miriam leprosy. (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth) And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out. Speak not evil of thy leader. God wants us to dwell in unity, and when you speak evil of your leader, it causes a casm in the body. And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth. And He said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. This is how God spoke through Joseph and Daniel, and He still speaks to his prophets in visions and dreams. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all my house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches, and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and He departed. Speak not evil of thy leader, And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow, and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and behold, she was leprous. This was a judgment by Jehovah God that we must not speak evil of thy leader. God chose Moses to lead the children of Israel and did many miracles through his hands. Therefore, touch not God's anointed and do His prophets no harm. This is a lesson for us as we must pray for our leaders, so that the Lord will use them and we can live a peaceful life. So Miriam, who began speaking evil of Moses, was stricken with leprosy because of this sin. Let those who rule among you be counted worthy of double honor, and do not speak evil of thy leader. Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Moses was blessed for marrying the Ethiopian woman, and God has used the Ethiopian people because of this marriage for His glory.

  • #And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10  God turns tragedy into triumph

The Hebrew word for captivity is Shbiyth, meaning exile, a former state of prosperity. And it was so that after the LORD  had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the things that are right, as my servant Job hath. Therefore, take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept; lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the right thing, like my servant Job. So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job. God turns tragedy into triumph., Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house; and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earing of gold. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He also had seven sons and three daughters. God turns tragedy into triumph, for Job was restored after he made intercession for his friends. Job repented in sackcloth and ashes, and the Lord God blessed him better than before. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job, and their father gave them an inheritance among their brethren. After this Job lived a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons and his sons' sons, even four generations. God turns tragedy into triumph by not allowing the devil to destroy Job as he had planned, but limits the scope of what he can do. The wife who told him to curse God and die was able to bear all those children for him again. Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose. Never give up on the Lord, or charge Him foolishly. For Job held to his integrity, and God made all the bad things that happened to him work together for his good. God turns tragedy into triumph when we praise God in our sorrow, knowing that God makes all things beautiful in His time. My prayer for you today is that you will have the faith in God that Job had, and love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, and your neighbor as yourself. Then you will witness God turn tragedy into triumph in your life as well. Never doubt the power of intercessory prayer.

  • #And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Revelation 5:9 Worthy is the Lamb

The Greek word for worthy is Axios, meaning deserving, suitable, fitting, and appropriate, due reward. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain. John is on the island of Patmos, and the angel gives him a revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is worthy to take the book and open the seals. And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into the earth. And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints. Worthy is the Lamb, and hast made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. Worthy is the Lamb, and we will sing His praises for all of eternity in heaven, for He redeemed us out of His blood, and will take the title deed to the world from Satan, that Adam gave to him in the Garden of Eden. Praise God for the angels, who are innumerable around the throne of God, singing His praises with the beasts and the twenty-four elders. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, and He alone has redeemed us out of every tribe and nation. There will not be any discrimination in heaven, for we are all one loving family of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. John was amazed at all these things and fell down to give praise and worship to the Lamb who sits on the throne. Let us rejoice and fall down as well, for we shall be praising Him, the Lord Jesus Christ, because Worthy is the Lamb who was slain. and has redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, tongue, and people and nation. There will be perfect unity in heaven, and we will all sing the Hallelujah chorus together, praising the Lamb. Oh, let us magnify the Lord together, for He alone is worthy of our praises. Worthy is the Lamb, for He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and He is coming with great power to take vengeance on those who obey not this gospel.
