A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

#For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: Mark 7:10 Happy Father's Day!
The Greek word for Honor is Timao, meaning to prize, i.e., fix a valuation upon and to revere. Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups; and many such like things ye do. And He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition. But ye say, if a man shall say to his father or mother, it is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by Me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother. Making the word of God of no effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such things do ye. It is time to put away the traditions of men and put a true value on Father's Day. Some say Mother's baby, Father's maybe. It is blasphemous not to honor your Father as you do your Mother. Do not be like the Pharisees who kept the traditions of men. Honoring your father and mother will give you a long life, and it will be good with you all the days of your life. Do not make excuses for why your father does not deserve to be honored. We are made in the image of God, and to curse your father or your mother is to curse God, and you will die the death. Our Lord has given us the examples of the traditions of men so that we will learn not to keep them. Honor thy father and thy mother, as the fifth commandment tells us. Instead, give the same honor to both parents as God has commanded. It is my prayer that you forgive your father or your mother, because it is the hardest job that we have to do. So take Dad out for lunch, or cook him a good meal, and tell him that you love him. Put yourself in his shoes and understand that God will bless you for doing so.
#Thus saith Cyrus, king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; He hath charged me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Ezra 1:2 God rules in the affairs of men
The Hebrew word for house is Bayith; for a house, temple, palace, and by a steward. God rules in the affairs of men and had vouchsafed to Cyrus, king of Persia, now modern day Iran, to build a house, as He did to Nebuchadnezzar and Darius. Now in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing and saying. So that all the rulers of the world can know that Jehovah God rules in the affairs of men and sets up the bases of men to lead them. Who is among you of all His people? His God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel.(He is the God) which is in Jerusalem. And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besides the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem. All the silver and the gold belong to God, and we must use them for His glory. Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem. There is going to be built a third temple in Jerusalem, and sacrifices and offerings will be restored for the Messiah. We must pray for all leaders, because God turns the hearts of the rulers of this world to accomplish His will on the earth. So, pray for Donald Trump, as he is about to celebrate his birthday, that God will bless him as the Army celebrates 250 years in the military parade. Truly, Jehovah God is good, and we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king, and God will prosper all those who do so. Just as God prospered Cyrus, king of Persia, to build the house of the Lord God of heaven. Isaiah 45:1 Thus saith the Lord to His anoited, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have hidden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; When Jehovah God opens a door, no man can shut it, and when He shuts a door, no man can open it. Promotion comes neither from the east nor the west, but promotions come from the Lord. So Cyrus understood the prophecy as a command and proceeded to obey it. We would do well in our lives to obey the commands as we prepare to celebrate Father's Day weekend. Let us honor all dads and pray for them as well.
#And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; 1 Corinthians 7:30. Weeping may be for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
The Greek word for weep is Klaio, meaning to sob, i.e., wail aloud, whereas rather to cry silently. Tears are our language God understands. Weeping may be for the night, but joy comes in the morning. If your spouse has left you, it is ok to weep about that, for Jesus wept over Jerusalem, and when Hosea married Gomer, he wept over her adulteries. Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife. But if thou marry, thou hast not sinned, and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless, such shall have trouble in the flesh, but I spare you. But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth that both they that have wives be as though they had none. Because of the stress of living in the last days, it is better to remain in the state God has called you to. If a celibate, enjoy singleness and serve the Lord wholeheartedly. If married, remain married, for you have not sinned, for it is better to marry than to lust in your heart. Weeping may be for the night, but joy comes in the morning. God weeps along with us, just as Israel played the harlot, and God had to punish her for her sins. We should weep over our sins, and turn away from them, and the joy of our salvation will be restored. And they that use this world, as not abusing it, for the fashion of this world passeth away. Jesus will wipe away all our tears, and there will be no more pain in the New Jerusalem. Let not your heart be troubled, for ye believe in God, believe also in Jesus, for in the Father's house there are many mansions, and if it were not so, He would have told us. Therefore, He is going to prepare a place for us, where He is, and where we will also be. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. Therefore, do not use this world as abusing it, for this world is not our home; we are pilgrims and strangers just passing through. So, looking unto Jesus, who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, is now at the right hand of the Father in heaven, interceding for us. So Paul is telling us, I would have you without carefulness. Meaning we should not worry about anything, but pray about everything. When Jesus descends from heaven with the shout" Come up hither," all of our troubles will be done away with, for we will be changed into our glorified bodies and translated to heaven. What joy that will be when we see Jesus, and it will be worth it all. The joy of the Lord is our strength, so rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.
#I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Psalms 37:35 Wait on God to punish the wicked
The Aramaic word for green is Ra anan, meaning prosperous. The Hebrew word for bay tree is Ezrach, for spontaneous growth. Wait for God to punish the wicked. God allows the wicked to spontaneously grow and prosper, but then in a moment, He will tear them down. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand. We remember Job, how Satan was watching him and told Jehovah God he was serving you for blessings. It was God who asked Satan Where have you been? Satan responded by walking to and fro on the earth. Then Jehovah asked Have you considered my servant Job? Then Satan said You have a hedge protecting him, but take it down, and he will curse you to your face. So Jehovah God said Okay, but do not harm him. So we see how God will allow Satan to attack us, but he has Satan on a tight leash and places parameters on him that he cannot do all that he desires. Yes, God allows the wicked to attack us, and fall into their hands, but God does not leave us there. Hitler was once a feared world dictator, but God brought him down by the Allied army. We are celebrating 250 years of the military, and thank God for the parade; they deserve it. We thank God for them, and we celebrate our Democracy and the freedom given to us by the First Amendment to protest peacefully. Let us wait on God to punish the wicked, even though they rise to power spontaneously, and seek to slay us. Job said Though thou slay me, I will trust in Thee. So it was, Satan was allowed to slay the children of Job, and take his wealth and health. Nevertheless, Satan could not take the life of Job. When God asked Job Where were you when I created the world? Job repented in sackcloth and ashes. Then, when Job remembered to pray for those three friends who were falsely accusing him, God restored the health and the wealth of Job. And Job lived to see another 140 years of his children and grandchildren. What a blessing to wait on God to punish the wicked, and pray for them, then the Lord will bless you for doing so.
#And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3 Be a star for Jesus
The Hebrew word for stars is Kowkab, meaning a star in the sense of blazing, as round or shining. Be a star for Jesus and win souls. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? Be a star for Jesus since we are living in the time of the end, and many shall run to and fro, multitudes will be in the valley of decision, but wait on the Lord for He is coming soon, and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting contempt. Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy pathway. Blessed are those in the first resurrection, for the second death shall not have any hold on them. Woe to those who reject Christ as Savior, for they shall awake to everlasting contempt. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and shine as the stars blazing in the heavens, and when Jesus comes again, you will be translated into your glorified body in the heavens, never to die again. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thine household.
#Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 1 Peter 4:4 Be ye holy
The Greek word for riot is Asotia, meaning unsaveedness. Be ye holy, for God is holy. Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for He that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries. Who shall give an account to Him that is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this cause, the gospel also preached to those who were dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Therefore, be ye holy and do not walk as the Gentiles walk any longer, put off the old man and his deeds, and walk in the spirit so that you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Be at peace with all men, as it is possible, and be ye holy.
#Wherefore art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me walk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the wicked prosper? Wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously? Jeremiah 12:1 Why does the way of the wicked prosper?
The Hebrew word for treacherously is Bagad, meaning to cover or to pillage and deal deceitfully. Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins. But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter. How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? The beasts are consumed, and the birds, because they said, He shall not see our last end. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? This is the paradox of Psalm 73:1-17 (A Psalm of Asaph): Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. But as for me, my feet were almost gone, my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious of the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death, but their strength is firm. They are not in trouble like other men; neither are they plagued like other men. Therefore, pride compasseth them like a chain; violence covereth. them as a garment. Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than the heart could wish. They are corrupt and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. Therefore, his people return hither, and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. And they say, How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. Verily, I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence. For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God, then understood their end. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. Thus, the key is to dwell in the sanctuary of God, and you will know their end. Yes, God is good all the time, and follow Him, for He is the source of eternal prosperity
#Bless the LORD, O my soul, O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty. Psalms 104:1
The Hebrew word for majesty is Hadar; meaning magnificence, i.e. ornament or splender, beauty, comeliness, excellency and glorious. The Psalmist is praising Jehovah God, the most high, for thou art great, very great and clothed in honor and majesty. We will be praising God in all of eternity. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain. Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds His chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: Who maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire. O let us magnify the Lord together. Give him all the glory and honor that belongs unto His name. When Jesus steps out in the clouds, He will use them as His chariots when He carries us from earth to heaven. Song of Solomon 5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? God is holy, and we must be clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and we do that when we place our faith in His shed blood at the cross. Then we can shout the majesty of Jehovah God. My beloved put in His hand by the hole in the door, and my bowels were moved for Him. I rose up to open to my beloved and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when He spake: I sought Him but I could not find Him ; I called him, but he gave no answer. We must walk in holiness, and allow His myrrh to clothe us with His righteousness, so that when we call he will answer us. For He is the Rose of Sharon, the bright and morning Star. Let us magnify the Lord God together as He is our Beloved.
#And He called His ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds and said unto them, to Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13 Wait on Jesus.
The Greek word for occupy is Pragnateuonai, for to be busy oneself with, i.e., to trade. For the Son of man is come to seek and save what is lost. And as they heard these things, He added and spake a parable, because He was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought the kingdom of God should immediately appear. He said, therefore, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive a kingdom for himself and to return. But His citizens hated Him, and sent a message after him, saying We will not have this man to reign over us. And it came to pass, that when He returned, having received the kingdom, then He commanded these servants to be called unto Him, to whom He had given money, that He might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. Wait on Jesus and trade the ten pounds He has given you. So it is important to use our gifts for the glory of God, and not set a date when Jesus will return, for only the Father in heaven knows the hour when the Son of man will return to set up His kingdom. Anyone who sets a date is a thief and a robber. The pounds represent our talents that the Lord has given to us, and we are to trade them by being busy working for Him in this world. Jesus wants us to occupy till He comes to judge us for our service. So wait on Jesus, for He is never early, or late, He is an on-time God. I made a mistake when I was young and said in my heart that Jesus would come in 1975, and when it did not happen, I was discouraged. That is why we must not set a date, for even Jesus does not know when He will return; only the Father in heaven knows. He is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us down here. In the parable, the good servant gained ten pounds trading for the Lord. So this teaches us we must be busy doing our Master's business. For He will settle His accounts with us when He comes again. Wait on Jesus, for all those who wait on Jesus, will renew their strength and mount up with wings like an eagle and run and not be weary, and walk and not faint. It is going to be a blessed day when Jesus returns, so be ye also ready, for He is coming at a time when we think not. Let us provoke one another to good works as we see the day of Christ's return is near. Jesus told us there would be signs in the heavens, the sun, the moon, and the stars. There would be distress of nations with perplexities, and the sea and the waves roaring. So wait on Jesus and occupy till He comes again for us. There is the parable of the ten virgins, who were told to make sure there would be oil in their lamps. So five of them were wise, and five of them were foolish. The five wise went to the merchants to buy oil, and then the five foolish said Give us of your oil. Then at midnight, the Lord came. The five wise went into the kingdom, but the five foolish were left behind. Wait on Jesus and make sure there is oil in your lamps when He returns. Be busy trading your pounds, and when the Lord Jesus returns, He will say Good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of the Lord.
#For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Romans 7:18 Who shall save me from this body of sin?
The Greek word for flesh is Sarx, which means the body or human nature, physically and morally, with its passions. Paul is in a conundrum, for that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For the good that I would I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that, I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law that when I do good, evil is present in me. Who shall save me from this body of sin? It is the problem that we all have in our flesh, to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good, I find not. We are powerless to live the Christian life in our flesh, it is by the Holy Spirit only that we can live. a godly life. Jesus said If any man is to be my disciple, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. We must die to self, as Paul said O wretched man that I am, who shall save me from this body of sin? There is therefore no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. We can only live a godly life when we put to death the flesh every day and allow the Holy Spirit to control us daily. Paul said: For I can do all things in Christ Jesus who gives me strength. Let us move on by the power of the Holy Spirit, walking in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin. For God is Light, and there dwells no darkness in him. So we must submit to God and resist the devil. Put on the whole armor of God, so that ye can fight against all the wiles of the devil. For it is Christ in me, the hope of glory. Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hidden in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. This is why we must meditate on the Word of God day and night and hide it in our hearts. For the flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing. Let us move forward by the power of the Spirit and crucify the flesh and walk in the Spirit. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, but his delight is in the Word of God. It is God who gives us the strength to live a godly life, and we must allow Him to put to death that fleshly man in us every day. Who shall save me from this body of sin? It is Christ in me, the hope for glory. Put on then the whole armor of God and make no provisions for the flesh, to fulfill its lust. For there is no sin that is not common to man, but God is faithful who will give us the strength to escape it, and to bear it.
