A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

The Hebrew word for riches is Chayll, meaning probably a force, whether of men, means, or other resources. An army, wealth. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, ye people, pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
Trust not in riches, trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery. Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. Riches take on wings and fly away; that is why we must trust in God at all times, ye people, and pour out your heart before Him. For our God is a refuge and strength in the day of trouble. David, who wrote this Psalm, learned that early in life and was a man after God's heart. I thank God for this scripture, for it brings me comfort when I am oppressed. The love of money is the root of all evil, and many have become shipwrecked seeking to become rich. Jesus warned us not to lay up riches on earth, where moth and rust corrupt. Instead, we must lay up our riches in heaven, where there is neither moth, nor rust, nor thieves to break in and steal. Therefore, let us seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these things will be added unto us.

The Greek word for "Caesar" is "Kaisar," a title of the Roman emperor. Paul is appointed to preach the gospel to Caesar and all those with him. But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them and said Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve. Wherefore, Sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. Howbeit, we must be cast upon a certain island. But when the fourteenth night had come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight, the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country; and sounded and found it twenty fathoms, and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms. The angel of the Lord told Paul that all 276 souls on the ship would be saved, but the ship would be lost. Thank God that He knows the end from the beginning, and we must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, and lean not unto our understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct our path. We are sailing on the ship of Zion, headed for heaven, and we are going through the storms of life. However, God has promised never to leave us or forsake us and will see us through the treacherous sea. So have faith in God, for He will allow this gospel to be preached unto the ends of the earth, no matter what comes, rain or sunshine, God will see us through until the end.

The Greek word for judgment is Krima, meaning a decision to avenge a crime. vengeance belongs to the Lord. He will avenge all disobedience once our obedience is fulfilled. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
If we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 The word Confess comes from the Greek word Homologeo, meaning to agree with God. We must judge ourselves by agreeing with God that we are sinners, in need of a Savior. Jesus took our sins and nailed them to the tree of Mount Calvary, never to be judged again. God cast our sins as far as the east is from the west. Therefore, let us as Christians judge ourselves by confessing our sins to God, and He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you stole, steal no more and make restitution. Get a job and give to others who have a need. This is what Peter means by judgment must begin at the house of God first. Then, after we have been judged, God will avenge those who have sinned against us at the proper time. If the righteous are scarcely saved, what hope have the ungodly and sinner before God? Therefore, be quick to confess when the Holy Spirit brings it to our attention, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all sin. We must all stand before the judgment Seat of Christ and give an account for the things done in the body, be they good or bad.2 Corinthians 5:10 Our works will be judged, not our salvation. The fire will judge our works, and if they consist of gold, silver, and precious stones, they shall remain, and we will receive a reward. However, if our works consist of wood, hay, and stubble, the fire will consume our works, and we will suffer loss, yet as by fire, and not receive a reward. Let no man receive your crown. For this is what we are to cast at the feet of Jesus in heaven.

The Hebrew word for mercies is Checed, meaning kindness by implication towards God, piety, beauty, favor, and good deed. This Psalm is sung in many churches every Sunday, and this is a beautiful example of the loving kindness of Jehovah, which is forever. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up forever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed will I establish forever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah
The mercies of Jehovah are forever, and we are in the midst of a Government Shutdown, and Jehovah Jireh is providing for us. I pray that Congress and the President will do the right thing and end the Shutdown. Nevertheless, the Lord is my hope and with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. If it had not been for the Lord on our side, our enemies would have over taken us, but God is good all the time. Singing makes the heart glad, so that I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever. Thank the Lord He has not given us what we deserve, but has sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Now I am forgiven, and Jesus is Lord forevermore. We will praise God in heaven forever, so let us get used to singing of the Lord's mercies forever. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Tell it to your children, and your grandchildren, of the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

The Hebrew word for disquieted is Hamah, meaning to murmur, growl, roar, or be boisterous. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept the holyday. O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
Hope thou in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. Many people are suffering from mental illness and are afraid of coming out due to the stigma. I have found that Church people are the first to condemn you for this illness, saying it is demon possession. The devil can possess no Christian. Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. It is time to wake up and get the help that you need. Call 988 and talk to a professional and get the help without feeling the stigma. Jehovah God will be the help of your countenance, so do not be afraid. The Lord is in the midst of thee. Many great Christians have been diagnosed with mental illness, so accept it, take your medication, and you will get better. This Psalm is a comfort to many who are afflicted and cast down. Hope thou in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.

The Hebrew word for morsel is Path, meaning a bit of meat. Elijah was told by God what to do. And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zerephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain thee. So he arose and went to Zerephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow was there gathering sticks, and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse, and behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat, and die. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said, but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
It is mental health awareness month, and many people suffer from hearing voices telling them that they are going to die, as the widow woman did. Do not listen to those voices, but seek help from the mental health department. As sure as the body gets sick, so does the mind, and there must be parity between physical health and mental health. That is why healthcare is so important, and Congress needs to end this Government Shutdown and allow ABomacare tax cuts in the budget so people can get the care that they desperately need. God sent Elijah to this widow woman at just the right time to save her life and her son. It is time for Congress to listen to the man of God and end the Government Shutdown, so that veterans suffering from PTSD can get the help they desperately need too. It is my prayer that they heed the voice of God and provide healthcare for the poor and disabled. Jehovah Jireh is our provider, and He will provide for us, just as He did for Elijah and the widow woman and her son.

The Hebrew word for roared is Gal, meaning something rolled, i.e., a heap of stone or dung, by analogy a spring of water, or a wave. I, even I, am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass? And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor? The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. And I have put my words in thy mouth and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people. Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of His fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she brought up.
We are facing the same peril in America that Israel faced. Awake, awake, and stand up, Open the Government and end this shutdown, as the LORD of hosts is His name and He will fight for the poor and the disabled. It is time to end the brinksmanship and find a bipartisan agreement to end the Government shutdown. The LORD thy maker hath stretched forth the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. Why do ye not fear Him? It is time to fear Him who divided the sea, whose waves roared. God is a buckler for the poor, and He will fight for them, so do what is right and let Jehovah God of angel armies fight your battles. He is coming in wrath to avenge the poor and disabled. It is my prayer that the leaders will do the right thing and end the Government Shutdown.

The Hebrew word for feeble is Kashal, meaning to totter or waver (through weakness of the legs, especially the ankle) to falter, stumble, faint or fall. In that day is a phrase in the Bible that means the last days. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God. In that day, I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people around about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. And it shall come to pass in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications, and they shall look upon Me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. The angel of the Lord shall go before them, and Jehovah God of angel armies shall guide them in all their ways. Look to Jesus and live, and He will grant you peace in the land of the living. Jesus is coming to take vengeance on those who do not obey this gospel, and we must sanctify ourselves in the spirit of grace and supplications, and Jesus, whom they pierced, they shall mourn for Him as one mourneth for his only son. Jesus the Lamb of God, and first begotten of the Father, shall come with healing in His wings and will restore the house of David, and usher in the kingdom of God. And there will be peace in the valley for thee, and Judah shall be the lion that shall rule in Jerusalem. Let the earth rejoice and the people be glad, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, and we will praise His name forevermore.

The Aramaic word for rebellious is Marad, from the same root as Mrad. The Hebrew Ezra 4:19 And I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein. We are facing a severe drought in Texas, and this is a sign of rebellion against God. There must be a repentance and turning to the Lord. We certify the king that if this city is built again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side of the river. Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the Chancellor, and to Shimshai the Scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at such a time. The letter which ye sent unto us hath been plainly read before me.
Rebellion is the sin of witchcraft, and for God to forgive us, we must return to the Lord in repentance. There have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, who have ruled over the countries beyond the river; and toll, tribute, and custom were paid unto them. Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not built, until another commandment shall be given from me. Take heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings? We are in the midst of a Government Shutdown, and this is a great damage to our Democracy. We say in God do we trust, but instead ye are trusting in men. Let God be true and all men liars. It is time for us to return to the Lord and pay our taxes. Jesus said to render unto Caesar what is due, and render unto God what is due. Then the Lord will bless us. Stop worshipping devils on Halloween, and be consecrated unto the Lord thy God. Ezra made this warning, so that the city could be rebuilt without being destroyed because of rebellion again. The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments, which are not grievous.

The Hebrew word for quake is Ragaz, meaning to quiver with any violent emotion, especially anger or fear. to be wroth. They shall run like mighty men, they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path, and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. And the LORD shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the LORD is great and terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore, also now saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for He is gacious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil.
The great day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. Joel is a minor prophet, but his message is major. The earth will quiver with any violent emotion, especially anger, to be wroth. Jesus is coming to take vengeance on those who do not obey this gospel. The sun and the moon shall be dark, while the stars shall withdraw their shining before that great and terrible day. Who shall be able to stand? Therefore, turn to the Lord God with fasting, weeping, and mourning. And tear your heart, and not your garments. Turn to Jehovah God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness. It is time for men everywhere to repent and open the Government. For the Government shall be on His shoulders, and there will be peace in the valley for thee. It is my prayer that the leaders will do the right thing and stop oppressing the poor and the disabled. Cause Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead. So turn to the Lord now while there is time.
