Welcome to Ning

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold is as pictures of silver.(Prov.25:11) It is so important to speak the right words to people at the right time to produce the right results. When you think of apples of gold in pictures of silver, then you are thinking of wealth and excellence. When we speak wisdom into the lives of others we are making them wealthy. Therefore we must seek God for He is the source of all wisdom and He will give us just the right words needed at the right time.

  • #How has the faithful city become a harlot! It was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers. Isaiah 1:21 Woe to the Harlot

The Hebrew word for murderers is Ratsach, meaning to dash in pieces, i.e., kill a human being. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge Me of mine enemies:

Woe to the harlot, Israel has forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters, for cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water. They kill the innocent, and dash them in pieces. Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah God. It is time to repent and turn to the fountain of living waters. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Consider your ways, and turn to the living God. For it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. If ye shall be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land, but if ye refuse, and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword. God is going to shake the heavens and the earth, so repent and turn to the Lord. It is my prayer that you will take heed and number your days, and repent of the evil in your hands. Do good to the fatherless, and the widows, and walk in righteousness, before the day of the Lord comes and devours the earth. Put away the murders from your hands, and do what is right in the sight of the Lord. Let your businesses hire the poor and the needy, and pay a living wage. For thus saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel. For He will judge His adversaries, and avenge the blood on mine enemies.

  • #But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; Job 35:10  God gives songs in the night

The Hebrew word for songs is Zamiryr, a song to be accompanied by instrumental music. If thou be righteous, what givest thou Him? Or what receiveth he of thine hand? Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man. By reason of the multitude of oppressions, they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. Surely God will not hear vanity, nor will the Almighty regard it.

God gives songs in the night. Praise God that when we are sad, He gives songs in the night. When we have lost a loved one, He gives songs in the night. It is a sign of righteousness to play a song accompanied by an instrument of music. I received from the Lord the gift to play the piano by ear, and God gives me songs in the night. God tells me what to play on the piano to comfort my soul, and what a blessing this is to comfort my heart. Listen to God, for He gives songs in the night. When the multitude of oppressions oppresses your heart, I will praise thee, O God, for thou alone can make me happy. Sing unto the Lord as Job has learned to do, because God gives songs in the night. God gives beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven, to provide us with songs in the night. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, cause God gives songs in the night. What is man, thou made him lower than the angels, yet God gives songs in the night. The pride of evil men God will not hear, nor vanity will the Almighty regard it. So sing alone with God, for He gives songs in the night.

  • #Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. Psalms 42:5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart

The Hebrew word for countenance is Paniym, meaning the face, used in a variety of applications, literally and figuratively. Honorable, impudent, mouth, presence in shewbread. My soul thirsteth for God; when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me; for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts; all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. If you are suffering from PTSD, take a moment to reflect upon this Psalm as it comforts the soul and the heart. The Lord will take care of you, no matter how much trauma you have been through. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts and thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your pathway. Mental illness is real, and if you are hearing voices and paranoia, look to the hills from whence comes my help; the Lord, strong and mighty, shall save you. If you are suffering from depression and the voices are telling you don't matter, call 988 and get help. The chemical imbalance in the brain will cause these voices, and you need mental health professionals to prescribe medication for this disease. God is an ever-present help in a time of trouble, so call on Him and He will surely help you. Jesus is the shewbread, who died on the cross for our sins, and He stands at the door of your heart knocking. Open the door so He can come in and fellowship with you and give you peace. It is my prayer that you will come out of the darkness and enter the joy of the Lord, which is our strength.

  • #Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Haggai 1:6 Consider your ways.

The Hebrew word for sown is Zara, meaning to sow, to disseminate, to plant, to fructify, to bear, to conceive seed, and to yield. Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, Is it time for you. O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider your ways. Thus saith the LORD  of hosts, Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. Ye looked for much, and lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of my house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

Consider your ways. Three times the prophet is told to use this phrase. Ye sow much, ye eat, but ye have not enough. Ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink, ye clothe you, but none is warm. It is time for you to consider your ways. It is time for us to consider the Lord's house, which is a waste. God has allowed you to earn wages, to put in a bag with holes in it. Consider your ways. The Lord must have first place in our lives, and not be pushed to the curb. Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, for there is coming a day when He shall not be found. Consider your ways, and build up the Lord's house, and not your own. This is pertinent to us today, as we have just gone through the longest Government Shutdown in United States history. We need to consider our ways. How are we going to live after all these things have happened?  God is a jealous God, and we must not have any other gods besides Him. It is my prayer that we will prioritize our service to the LORD's house. We must build up the broken places by feeding the poor, giving help to the immigrants, and doing the will of God. For we were immigrants in Egypt for 400 years, and the Lord raised Moses to set my people free. Now you are wandering in the wilderness and forgetting the Lord who bought thee. Consider your ways, and return to the Lord, your God, and worship Him only. Put away these idols of gold and silver, and build the Lord's house by providing for the poor and disabled. Then the Lord will have recompense for your house.

  • #So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better. 1 Corinthians 7:38 Celibacy is a gift

The Greek word for marriage is Ekgamizo, meaning to marry off a daughter or give her in marriage. And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction. But if any man think he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not; let them marry. Nevertheless he that standeth standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his will, and hath so decreed in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will, only in the Lord. But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment; and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

Celibacy is a gift, and Paul is giving his meaning of whether to marry or not to remain single. since he has the Spirit of God inspiring him. Not all have the gift of celibacy, and it is better to marry than to burn in lust. Being able to control one's self around his virgin is a gift from God, and they will be happy if they can so abide. However, marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers will be judged. The wife is bound unto her husband as long as he lives. If he dies, she is free to remarry whoever she pleases, only in the Lord, and not be unequally yoked to an unbeliever. The gift of celibacy gives one the freedom to serve the Lord fully without distraction. However, if they marry, they have not sinned. It is my prayer that if you are burning in lust, to pray unto the Lord to give you a mate. Whoso finds a good wife, has favor with the Lord. May the Lord bless all those who are married, and those who are celibate

  • #Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Romans 6:3 Ye are dead to sin

The Greek word for baptized is Baptizo, meaning to immerse, submerge, or make whelmed or soaked, and is used in the New Testament of ceremonial ablution, especially in the ordinance of Christian baptism.  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death; that, like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection. Knowing this, that the old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Ye are dead to sin, therefore seek Jesus who was raised from the dead, and seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven, interceding for us. Now that we have been baptized into Christ's death, we shall also be planted together in the likeness of His resurrection. Stop living in sin, for the body is crucified. Why is it that some who have been baptized in His death continue to sin? God forbid that we continue in sin that grace may abound. Now walk in the Spirit and ye shall not walk in the flesh. Remember that Christ, who is our life, is coming for us to transform this dead body into His glorious body. There is therefore no condemnation unto those who are in Christ Jesus, who have crucified the flesh, and are alive by the Spirit. My brothers and sisters make no provisions for the flesh, to fulfill its lust, for I can do all things in Christ who gives me strength. We have been justified, and are being sanctified, and then we will be glorified when He comes in the clouds to carry us with Him.

  • #Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13  Happy Veterans Day!

The Greek word for life is Psuche, meaning soul, inner being, breath, the heart's desire, the drive, or passion of one's soul. If you keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what His Lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.

Jesus is preparing the disciples for His death on the cross, and He says you will no longer be called servants, but friends. Then Jesus tells them the greatest act of love is to lay down His life for his friends. I thank God for Veterans today as we celebrate their lives of service to this great country, and for those who have made the ultimate act of love by laying down their lives for their friends. I thank God Jesus taught us how to live and how to die. For to live is Christ, and to die great gain. Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." His commandments are not burdensome. So let us love one another, cause love is the fulfillment of the law. It is my prayer that you salute the veterans for their love and act of service to the United States of America. God save the USA!

  • #Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11  Be at peace with all men and follow holiness

The Greek word for perfect is Katartizo, meaning to complete thoroughly, i.e., repair or adjust, frame, and amend. For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong; and this also we wish, even your perfection. Therefore, I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints salute you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen

Be at peace with all men and follow holiness, for without holiness, no man will see the Lord. Paul is giving his doxology to the brethren and telling them to be perfect and of good comfort, and of one mind, and to live in peace. Sometimes, to do this, we have to repair old relationships and adjust them so that we can be at peace as much as possible. This is what the bond of perfection means to complete thoroughly. Then he tells us to greet one another with a holy kiss, not a French kiss. This is not practiced much in the church these days for fear of offending someone. However, let the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. When we do this, the church can be in harmony, and we can live a peaceful and holy life. This is what God wants in all of us. So it is my prayer that if you are walking in bitterness and unforgiveness, you will repent of this sin and make peace with all the saints.

  • #Huram said, moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the King a wise son, and endued with prudence and understanding, that might build a house for the LORD, and a house for His kingdom. 2 Chronicles 2:12 Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain.

The Hebrew word for Huram is Chuwram, meaning whiteness, i.e., nobility. Even to prepare me the timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great. And behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil. Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved His people, he hath made thee king over them. And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Hurams my father's the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, and in timber, in purple, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father. Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send his servants:

Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain. God hath appointed Solomon to make the house of the Lord and given him the wisdom and the skill to do it. And this is a picture of the Lord Jesus, who said on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against her. We are the Lord's house that is being built upon that rock, and let us look unto Jesus, the Author and the finisher of our faith, to run this race with patience. Except we submit ourselves unto the mighty hand of the Lord, they shall labor in vain. So let us place all into the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall send us victorious into the vineyard to complete the task.

  • #And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; Revelation 5:15 Jesus is getting us ready for that great day

The Greek word for bondman is Doulos, meaning involuntarily a slave, or a bond servant in subserviency. And I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and Lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island was moved out of their place. And said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Jesus is getting us ready for His great day, and these twenty-one judgments will come upon the earth. The seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls of wrath, to purge sin from off the face of the earth. Slavery will still be practiced, and all these bondmen will say, hide us in the rocks from the face of the Lamb. Only the blood of Jesus can save us from this great day of His wrath. It is my prayer that you will accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, now before it is too late. Sing the great hymn of the Church," Blessed assurance, Jesus is Mine." The Church will not go into the great tribulation; only those who fail to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord.
